Marjaavaan (2019)
For Fans of Tragic Romance and Star-Crossed Lovers
This is a beautiful movie, and I don't know why people are giving it so much hate. After a long time, we get to hear dialogues that are actually memorable, and a theme song that stays with you even after you have finished watching. Siddharth's acting is definitely at its best here - his expressions, dialogue delivery... it's perfect! The role suited him very well. If you are a Siddharth Malhotra fan, do watch this just for him! If you don't like tragic love stories, then this is not for you, but if like a good romance, then you will not be disappointed. The development of the plot is sweet and touching. For fans of action, there are some great fight scenes as well. (And what better reason to fight for than true love!) The religious unity depicted is another beautiful aspect of the movie that is worth noting. The heroine's acting is rather lame, but the overall movie makes up for it. Overall, if you like action and romance, you should definitely go and watch this at least once.

Truly Magical!
This heartwarming movie is truly magical, because it stays with you long after watching it.
This is NOT an action movie, but Jackie Chan does justice to his role, and it is a must-see for his true fans. It would be a shame to overlook this modern classic just because it isn't his usual style or genre. Just start watching it without any prior expectations, and you will be rewarded.
If you like this movie, you can enjoy its Japanese version too (made just a few months earlier), but I think Jackie Chan did a much better job at portraying Mr. Namiya.
