Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016)
An OK but forgettable film.
This film is no ways a bad film, in my opinion, it was just "OK". The plot's good but it was forgettable for a Harry Potter spin-off.
I could not remember the characters' names, except for Kowalski and Newt.
I liked the setting and it's characters although I can't remember their names even how hard I tried to remember them.
I thought the villain "Graves" or Grindelwald was clichéd and I didn't know why he was the villain in the film.
The most clichéd moment was when Graves betrays Credence in the most villainous way. It's when they arrive at a house where a family of 12 were killed to find Credence's sister when Graves verbally assaults him saying he is "unteachable" winch causes Credence to go into a rage and Graves tries to apologize to him but Credence causes destruction in New York City anyways.
And the worst thing about it was that Graves still tries to get Credence on his side again but fails miserably maybe Graves shouldn't have done that at all if he wanted on his side again.
I also hated the ending when they use Newt's Thunderbird to wipe the memories of New York City citizens in a rain fest shame really. I would really want a war between the magical and un-magical.
Overall. Fantastic Beasts is an OK Harry Potter spin-off for fan service.
Inferno (2016)
One of the Worst Films of 2016.
This film does not know it's own plot and characters except Professor Langdon himself.
It uses the old plot cliché of character with amnesia at the start of the film. Then an assassin disguised as a Carabinieri officer tries to kill Langdon, she's not interesting and dies twenty minutes into the film. Then Serena comes along and says that the antagonist of the film was her boyfriend. Worst twist in the world.
I can't remember Inferno's plot because it was so forgettable with forgettable characters.
Inferno is boring, VERY BORING. Nothing is interesting whatsoever.
The Main Antagonist a clichéd 1960s-style bond villain, he's want to destroy the current world so he can build a new one. Sounds familiar? Yeah, we got too many movies with that.
I could honestly say that this film is not one but THE worst films of 2016.
Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers - Ignition (2005)
Aged Well.
I watched the first episode back in 2005 and I was just a kid back then.
Now I'm 16 years old, and feeling out of nostalgia I decided to find the movie and watched it again.
Ignition has a few problems but it has actually aged well with a huge fan-base backing Acceleracers, the World Race was all kid-friendly but Acceleracers has a gritty tone that attracts adults even if it was only made for children.
Taking place two years into the future, The World Race drivers have resorted to joining gangs to continue their passion for racing. Two of these gangs is the Teku and the Metal Manics.
There's a murder plot in the beginning with Nolo trying to ram Tork off the railing for revenge for the death of his brother Tone that Tork supposedly committed but Wild intervenes due to an ego he has, this results in Nolo's and Tork's cars crashing but Wild almost runs over Gig and crashes his car. The other former World Race leaders (winch they are split up in the two gangs) check to see they are OK. They speak to Gig who tells them that Dr. Tesla needs their help to fight the drones again but the drivers are dismayed because they didn't get what they asked for in World Race. Gig persuades them and they eventually accept. And a journey begins when Kadeem (a world race driver) goes missing in a race with Tesla appearing to hide something that brings a new threat to the table.
This film has a great soundtrack it really brings some good tension in some scenes.
Cons: There's usually an attempt at humour in the series with the character "Monkey" but it just looks unidiomatic due to having no style nor appetite. To be honest it's weird and distracting.
