Hamlet (1996)
Breath-holding Competition
This film is the equivalent of an uninvolved high school student's enforced read of the script for Shakespeare's Hamlet because each line is followed within less than a second by the next line, and there are no pauses for actually comprehending or considering what is going on.
Furthermore, in scenes where characters are meant to be waiting for something, there is no wait. The thing they were waiting for just happens instantly instead.
There simply isn't any breathing room, and I'm amazed they managed to find this many actors who could hold their breaths for upwards of 4 hours.

Amazing
Would have been a 10/10 if DUCK! had won the final fight though.

A Happy Ending
I'm so glad this show got a happy (or maybe bittersweet) ending. Hear me out.
A lot of TV shows and movies these days are gritty and dismal, and that's all good, I love shows and movies like that, but once in a while you need a happy ending. And with the current bleak horror-movie craze seemingly at its peak, and just bleak content in general, there does seem to be quite a lack of those. (And I do think this episode is a small commentary on just that).
Reality is full of fear and bitterness. And yes, media that feature such things give a genuine representation of the real world, warts and all, (there was plenty of that in the 9 episodes before this one), but sometimes you just have to let yourself be happy.
The creators of this show clearly knew this when writing the script, as that is the message being portrayed, or at least that's how I processed it.
People may not like this ending, and that's fine. People can dislike it all they want. I'm just glad we got some light in the darkness for a change.
BattleBots: Ice, Ice, Baby (2018)
Finally control and maneuverability get the importance they deserve!
People seem upset by the judges' decisions on this episode, but honestly, if you're in control of the fight you're winning.
In the Main Event match this episode for example, Skorpios won despite Icewave betting more, harder hits. But if one bot gets a lot of hits and the other bot decides when and where those hits land, redirects the kinetic energy of those hits against their opponent, as well as decide where their opponent is located in the BattleBox, that second bot is winning.
Honestly, hits against a wedge should barely count as hits. That's where a bot WANTS to take hits. To absorb the damage or even redirect it back to their opponent, or if their opponent is using a drum spinner or body spinner, to slow down their weapon and take control of the fight.

The Art in Heart
I found this episode to be one of the best in the series. Unlike a lot of episodes in this show, I was kept entertained from beginning to end by the unfolding plot, subtle comedy, and entertaining, or quaint, or likable, characters. Even though it was just half an hour.
Most of the criticism I've heard is relative to the tastes of the viewers, and not the episode itself having faults.
The minor criticism I have myself is that the final ending is too indirect with what it tries to imply happened. There is a very plausible explination that was subtly implied by a single action, too subtle. I feel they could have put more emphasis on that action.
Regardless, I enjoyed it and I hope you'll enjoy it too.
