El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (2019)
The perfect ending for Jesse Pinkman's tale.
I first watched Breaking Bad with my dad when I was in school. I'm finishing college now and we stayed up until 5AM just to be able to relive our glory days. Honestly, I went into this movie with the wrong expectations. I wanted to see a fleshed out story with character arcs and a common structure. The thing is, El Camino isn't a story, it's a story's epilogue. El Camino gives Breaking Bad viewers the closure they didn't know they wanted. The acting from everyone is phenomenal, especially from Aaron Paul, who is amazing as always. The visuals are spectacular, Vince Gilligan is a master with the camera. A few characters come back, and they made me tear up a little bit. Vince said this movie could be enjoyed without watching Breaking Bad, but I don't really think that's the case. Without nothing else to say, goodbye Jesse Pinkman. It's been one hell of a ride.
The Truman Show (1998)
Good afternoon, good evening and good night.
"The Truman Show" is an absolute masterpiece. I saw it once as a kid and didn't think much of it, but rewatching it now I can see it's one of the most original and well-crafted films I've seen in my life. Everyone gives an amazing performance, but the star is undoubtedly Jim Carrey as Truman. The attention to detail in this movie is amazing. Watch it, you won't regret it.
BoJack Horseman: Free Churro (2018)
Masterpiece.
This episode should've been horrible. It should've been boring and lame, but somehow Will Arnett and the talented group of writers and animators turned this into a masterpiece. I've never seen an episode of a show done this way, animated or not. We are truly experiencing one of the greatest shows of all time.
13 Reasons Why: The First Polaroid (2018)
Boring.
I wanted this to be better than the (mediocre at best) first season, but no. I felt like this episode was three hours long. Did they really needed to have 13 episodes? They could've done the same thing in 8 without making it feel so slow. The episode is 1 hour long, and nothing happens.
Usted No Sabe Quien Soy Yo? (2016)
This makes me ashamed of being colombian
Why did anyone thought this would be a good idea
This movie makes me want to switch countries
BoJack Horseman: The Old Sugarman Place (2017)
My favorite episode of the series next to Escape From LA.
I've never written a review here before, but I couldn't help it this time.
This episode was amazing, definitely the best of the season. In "The Old Sugarman Place", we see what BoJack has been doing since season 3 ended, and he doesn't disappoint.
The B story in this episode is not based around the characters we're used to, but instead is based around Bojack's grandmother, managing to create an amazing connection with the viewer in less than half an hour.
I won't say more. This is an episode you need to experience by yourself.
