The Last Kingdom: Episode #5.10 (2022)
This is how it's done!!!!
This is how u end such a series!! Fantastic performances, gripping writing and an epic score. The character developmet itself in this series is something to marvel at! Kudos to the team for giving us a worthy ending.
Mr. Robot: eps1.7_wh1ter0se.m4v (2015)
"I think we should talk"
Wow!! His will Always be one of my favorite episodes, Brilliantly Acted with master class directing and editing. Love the last few minutes especially how the music in the background builds up and matches PERFECTLY with the tension and atmosphere as it all unfolds right before the credits hit and the music intensifies 😭 an absolute masterpiece of an episode.
Chucky: Death by Misadventure (2021)
Decent pilot!
I find it wild I seen a Fellow reviewer say the soundtrack sucked lol!! No the soundtrack was actually flawless!!!! Worst thing about this episode is the acting but that's common for a first episode actors are still finding their chemistry
7.5/10.
In Treatment: Sophie: Week Nine (2008)
Daaaang!!
Not much to say about this episode its great like the others but Wow!! What stands out here is Mia Wasikowska, and how she gives us one on hell of a performance in her roll as Sophie!! It's the definition of a perfectly acted scene, couldn't have done it any better!!!
The Walking Dead: Vatos (2010)
Underrated episode
This episode has it all!! Great acting, directing, writing, drama and music! One of my favorite episodes of the season tbh.
Game of Thrones: The Last of the Starks (2019)
Okay then!!?!?!
As a singular "set-up" episode? it was nothing less above average. We got some comedic value, some tragedy and the usual GoT tension.. However, as the third to last episode of the ENTIRE show and the episode directly after "The Long Night"??? it was terrible!! Bad pacing, rushed writing and deaths that seemed strictly for "Shock Value" I hope this isnt the direction the writers plan on going!!! Its tough because I would probably really like this episode if this wasnt the final season or at least if we got a full 10 episodes this season.. With it being so short, the writers are completely forgetting about the development and slight detailes that made this show great!!
As a single episode? its an 8.5
As a Season 8 Episode 4 out of 6? Its about a 3
Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
Absolute Mavelous Television!!!
This episode was a feat in tge history of TV and filming and its sad that people wanna play critic instead of enjoying something truly beautiful and captivating! One of the finest pieces of cinema ive ever seen and ive seen quite a lot!! Cudos to the GoT cast and team for that incredible ride. Very well done!!
The Act: Plan B (2019)
Insanity!!!
The thing that poor girl had to endure from her brainwashing mother is truely insane. This show does a greatjob depicting the different scenarios that occurred but it leaves put one MAJOR detail. It ignores the fact that Dee Dee also physically abused her. In the documentary Gypsy explains how her mother would tie her up and beat her with balled up sheets and wire hangers. Great show woth superb acting and even beyter directing. Just wondering why they would leave that key piece out
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Chapter Seventeen: The Missionaries (2019)
What!!!!!
What in the He** was that? Amazing!! The absolute best episode of the series! The darkest its been! Im officially craving the next episode.
Lets watch Some More!!!!
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Chapter Fourteen: Lupercalia (2019)
Here we go
Now we're getting somewhere!! After the first few episodes i thought the show was slowly getting monotonous this episode picks up and moves at a crackling pace with a great final scene to cap it off!! Lets watch some more
Shameless: Found (2019)
Loved and savered every second of it!!
"Go, go as far away from here as you can and don't ever look back, okay? I'll always be here for you........... Always."
This episode is packed with emotion, even Carl and Debbie give us some of their most emotional acting we've seen from them to date! The send off was perfect and brilliant, the title episode couldn't have been any more fitting! Fiona finally "Found" herself. I notice lots of reviews bashing the writers but I honestly don't know why, sure the writing isn't no where near perfect and hardly on par with previous years but it's the 9th Season and they've still managed to open up new story lines to dive deeper into next year, Season 10 will also make Shameless the longest running program in Showtimes history so cudos to that as well
This season had a few LOWS but it also had some great highs and a few replayable episodes that I'll definitely be going back to
Id give this episode a 9.3/10
And rank the season a solid 7/10
The Sopranos (1999)
Absolutely Brilliant
It's taken me until 2018-2019 to actually sit down and watch The Sopranos from beginning to end and WOW!! One of my favorite shows all time is Breaking Bad and although very different, I can see a lot of inspiration this show has had on BB. This series is a huge staple in modern television. The Writing, The Cast, The Direction, The Production! There really isn't one thing bad about this show! How it portrays real life family issues and mixes it with realistic Mafia drama couldn't have been done any better! Character development is believable and extremely well done. The show has aged like a fine wine, and The fact the first season is now 20 years old and STILL looks amazing proves my point. The Sopranos is Filmography at it's best and it's influence as a show is still being felt today
RIP James Gandolfini, Thank You for bringing your raw emotion into one of my all time favorite fictional characters
Shameless: The Hobo Games (2019)
The shameless I've been waiting for!!!
Finally a solid episode, definitely one of the best we've had this season!! A few funny moments with top notch drama! I Can't wait for next week! And I Can't remember the last time I was able to say that about this show
The Punisher: One Bad Day (2019)
MAGNIFICENT!!!
Jon Bernthal deserves a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Frank Castle this episode from start to finish is completely brilliant, I'm really hoping Netflix doesn't cancel this one! Every episode unfolds like it coming straight out of the comics, just pure epicness!
The Passage: Pilot (2019)
What do you people base your reviews on?
Why do Peoples reviews of film always bring up book versions? I've never read the book so I base this review strictly off Directing, Acting, Writing, Editing, Enjoyability .etc (which any review of any type of film should be based off)
Now this wasn't perfect at all, but the pacing was phenomenal, the production values are very well done, acting was a little inconsistent which is usually for pilot episodes, the storytelling was straight to the point with no unnecessary plot fillers and the Editing was just as good as any other basic cable show i've seen. It just bugs me how a show like this gets hated on with a rating below a 7 but This Is Us is rated nearly a 9?? Anyway I liked this show sofar and can't wait till next week
My rating 8.5/10
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Chapter Five: Dreams in a Witch House (2018)
7.9??
Hmm not sure why this episode is rated so low with such horrible ratings? Its my favorite episode of the ahow so far! Acting was a little inconsistent but The directing here is masterful
Shameless: Are You There Shim? It's Me, Ian. (2018)
Still Great!!
In my opinion this shows main strength lies in its Drama rather than it's Comedy. And Although the Comedy can be really funny at times and It mixes the two genres quite well but I think it can somewhat take away from some of Shamless's more heartfelt moments at times... This episode in particular is pretty much ALL Comedy, however it was absolutely hilarious for me, the frank STD story line had me dying, I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Most of this shows more comedic episodes have never been my favorites but this one was great
8.7/10
Mayans M.C.: Perro/Oc (2018)
Yessss!!
Its funny how people say it's boring.. imo it was WAYYYY better than SOAs first pilot episode, so I'd say we're off to a great start lol
Power: A Friend of the Family (2018)
Yessss!!
A great episode, the directing in the final minutes are absolutely phenomenal. The first 7 episodes are all build up for the final 3
American Crime (2015)
Just watch It!!
Very good so far, This show is very intriguing.
The acting is great (MOST of the time) story line is somewhat flawed but still very engaging and entertaining.. I still can't tell if these awkward camera angles are brilliant or just plain annoying but its still a good watch
Sense8 (2015)
Incredible television
Might take a couple episodes to get the plot thick and rolling but my goodness this is nothing less than a Masterpiece. Great cinematography, fantastic writing and even better acting, a very underrated classic, such a shame Netflix cancelled it
Wentworth: Bleed Out (2018)
Fantastic And gripping!!
This season is shaping up to be a great one, Intriguing new characters and story lines. Great acting as usual amazing music as usual just a great episode in general, it almost felt like it could have been the finale to the entire show. The final 10 minutes is very well done and probably one of the most "feel-good" moments this series has had, can't wait to see what the writers have in store for us!
The Handmaid's Tale: Smart Power (2018)
Another great episode
This show is consistently great and this episode is no exception, acting ia great as usual, cinematography is AMAZING as usual, we finally get a glimpse of the world outside of Gilead, this was a very powerful episode
Westworld: Kiksuya (2018)
WOW!!! That was brilliant.
Okay If fans thought the writers lost a step or two this episode proves they are just as clever as ever! Seriously, this season has been very below average compared to last season, but this episode alone may be the greatest episode of the entire series, if this gets anything below an 8 rating, reviwers are literally just hating at this point, such an incredible and satisfying hour of television.
Big Little Lies (2017)
Hmmmmm?
Okay, first off let me just say that the cast is brilliant the Acting is top notch, the camera angles and cinematography was Beautifully stunning, the script was witty and funny, however the way the writers decided to tell this story was absolutely horrible, the pacing was remarkably slow the plot felt empty at times and for a only 7 episodes I feel like there was lots of filler, the entire season could have been told in maybe 2 epsisodes max, the whole first seasons feels a pilot episode to be completely honest, I think a writer like Vince Gilligan (for example) would have really made this show shine.
That being said, I have no idea why this show is so praised with awards and great ratings. Definitley didn't live up to the hype for me I give a light 7 and even that's being generous
