Dragon Ball (1995–2003)

Watch the YTV version, or the edited Toonami version

Dragon ball is a great japanese cartoon for children 7 and up, however there are several english dubs due to licensing and lack of popularity compared to its sequel dragon ball z. there is an edited Canadian dub (aka, blue water dub) that aired on ytv in the early 2000s, and alternate Funimation dub that used to air on cartoon network at the same time. the toonami dub was then released on home video, uncut. and that's where the problem starts. in the uncut version, you constantly see goku naked or other kinds of nudity, as well as perverted inapporpriate jokes from the characters, particularity coming from goku's teacher, master roshi. these jokes are unaccpetable for a PG rated show, and was never shown on YTV. If you are a child, or if a parent looking for this show, i highly reccommend you watch the edited version. it keeps all the actions, and removes dirty jokes.

despite that, dragon ball is an awesome show, that stars goku when he was just a kid, searching for dragon balls while going on advewntures and fighting in the martial arts. this show main focus is fighting for whats right, friendship, never giving up, and so on. Kids will cheer for Goku!

Dragon Ball Super (2015–2018)

Really good comback of a show i watched back when i was a kid

Dragon ball z was one of my favorite shows back in elementary school. it has a nostalgic feeling that holds to my heart. after hearing that it will come back i thought i watched it again to see where the characters left of. honestly, this show is really good! you got goku who is the same as ever, along with his friends and allies who are now have families. they go to adventures and collect dragon balls and fight bad guys. mind you, times have changed, so blood and nudity is toned down from the previous dragon ball shows. in conclusion, drgon ball super is a great continuation to dragon ball z. if your a dbz fan, watch it, you wont be disappointed.

Viva Las Vegas (1964)

Surpringly a Good Film!

Viva Las Vegas is a film musical for all ages. Elvis presently, who is the star of the film, plays lucky, a speed racer who dreams of winning the grand prix, but he must pay his hotel bill, in order to get the engine. but lost the money when he fell in pool, which rusty,(played by Ann Margaret) his love interest, pushed him into the water. Lucky must work for the hotel to get back his money and win the race, while wooing his lover.

This movie is fun to watch. elvis surpisngly is a good actor. usually famous singers are terrible actors, but he knows his dialogue well. Ann Margaret is really good, and her singing makes the musical fun. the only part i don't get is the ending, its too rushed. Overall, viva las vegas is a great film for anybody. 8/10

Melody (1971)

A Great Film Starring Child Actors

Melody is a great film for kids who are finishing childhood, put its perfect for adults who were kids. This movie doesn't have a plot, but the characters is what makes the movie strong. Mark lester and jack Wild play two middle school boys who are best friends in a Christian School. The way they set up the school is pretty typical yet realistic. you see girls talking about kissing boys, boys smoking, wrestling, it reminds me the times i went to middle school. Daniel played by mark is a scoially awkward boy who's best friend is a complete opposite of him, orshaw, played by Jack. they were the best of friends until daniel went head over heels over girl, Melody, played by tracey hyde. this movie expresses puppy love, kids vs adults, all that stuff. Melody is a great film to anyone who has "grown up".

If.... (1968)

It has no real plot, but has superior acting

If is one of those movies where the story doesn't matter, its the characters. Before clockwork orange, this is Micheal McDowell's film debut that skyrocketed his career. This movie has without a doubt, THE BEST actors for a movie with no story. Even the child actors are great. they are like young adults. If has a great settings, great music, (though there's little background) and amazing picture quality of its time. for a film that's made in 1968, it looks like it was made in 1985! Hell, maybe in the early 1990s if the hairstyles weren't dated. as this movie has great moments, there's two things i didn't like. One is the random naked lady that walked around a hallway. it was unnecessary and didn't need to be put. Another part was the black and white moments. there's scenes were the movies turns into a black and white film to set the mood. its cool in some scenes, but in other scenes like where the students are talking to each other, it appears again, and it was unnecessary. those are my only problems. If is definitely not made for everybody, buts its worth a watch if you like movies based on school

The Wizard of Oz (1939)

The GREATEST muscial film in HISTORY!

Wizard of oz is without a doubt, the BEST musical film EVER. The music, the story, the characters, everything, its a cherish beloved movie loved by kids and adults and still has a large following for over 70 years.

The story is about a girl named Dorothy who runs away from home when her aunty was forced to get rid of her dog toto from the evil old lady who has a heart of a witch. as toto successfully gets out of the basket, dorothy and her dog take off, until they met a genie who can see the future. but then a twister comes around and sucks up Dorothy in the house, changing into a colorful pretty place called munchkin land. its up to Dorothy, the scarecrow, tin man and cowardly lion to find a way to mee the Oz and fulfill their wishes while defeating a wicked witch who after Dorothy and her red slippers.

this movie has memorable characters, amazing quality of its time, great effects and songs that everyone can enjoy. the most popular one was somewhere over the rainbow. wizard is a movie you MUST see. and you will see why its remember after almost a century ago.

Oliver! (1968)

Almost as good as a Mary Poppins Movie!

Oliver is a musical starring two famous child actors Jack Wild and Mark Lester, about an orphan named Oliver seeking to find a home and family but trouble afoot as Sykes, a greedy man takes oliver for granted and kidnaps him to get money. He meets another orphan named dodger who lives with other orphans and their guardian Fagan, they live together peacfully with no labor, in contrast to where Oliver originally lived. As you can see in this movie, there's more singing than talking hence its a called a musical.

This movie has extremely good set just like Mary Poppins, i am amazed at how many people worked to get this movie done. The dancing, the singing, the locations, you could tell they spent top dollars to get everything. Whats also great about this movie is the songs (of course) its what makes the movie go. My favorite is the I do anything sung by Jack Wild along with Consider yourself which was also sung by him.

As good as this can get, this film is long, and i mean REALLY LONG. 2 hrs and 33 mins to be exact. they broke the movie to 2 parts as if it was an act of a play. and at times when there not doing anything and just talk, it can get pretty boring. but i digress, Oliver is a great film and worth the watch if you like musicals, or for a school day. i give it 8/10

Milo Murphy's Law (2016–2019)

Better then Phineas and Ferb; A great comeback of cartoons of the early 2000s

Disney does it again! Milo Murphy's law is an all new animated series created by the same people who made Phineas and Ferb. Its about a 13 year old boy named Milo who has the Murphy's law, in other words, hes a jinx. anything that goes wrong, will go wrong. if he touches something, it explodes, if he trips, somethings crashes, you get the point. he hangs out with two kids who are his classmates, and have to cope with his jinx. the funny thing about this show is that he jinxes actually save the day, whenever there's trouble.

Okay, so what do i like about this show? honestly, everything. from the characters, to the stories, to the jokes, it can really make you laugh. Milo Murphy's law strongly reminds of the Disney shows i grew up in the early 2000s, like recess, Kim possible, the weekenders. its bring a nostalgic feeling if you grew up with these shows. and that's what makes it so good. Im gonna give milo murphy's law a 10/10, its worth the watch for any fan of cartoons.

Hey There, It's Yogi Bear (1964)

The Happiest Cartoon Movie ever!

Hey There, Its Yogi Bear is without a doubt, one of the best Hanna Barbera cartoons ever made. I remember I watched this fun loving film when i was 8 years old. eleven years later, i thought i watched it again, and let me tell you guys, its just as fun to watch as it was a decade ago. From the songs, to the story, to the jokes, it brings back so many good memories, watching classic cartoons on Teletoon. And the animation is pretty damn good! despite its cheap designs, the movie has fluent animation and a very beautiful colorful background. the musicals are without a doubt the best part of the film. from "Like I like you" to "Ash can Parade" to "whistle your way back home" and more! Hey there Its Yogi bear is almost as good as a Disney film in my opinion. I recommend this movie to animation fans, and kids who never watched yogi bear before, after all, this movie introduced me to him! its a lot better than that horrid cgi/live action remake. Its one the happiest animated films ever.
