Succession (2018–2023)
6/10
HBO did it again .
2 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I can't belive I'm saying this but even Game of Thrones has a way better ending than Succession.

It's sad when you watch so many seasons of a show and you know that it will end bad but you kinda hope that the directors surprise you with an unexpected ending.

The best ending, obviously, would have been if all three of the Roy family would have worked together to make their father proud by building togheter a better company than Logan Roy did.

I really don't understand how you can create a great TV show but when you reach its ending, you screw everything by choosing the worst ending/outcome for the main characters just because the bad endings in films/tv series feel sometimes more real than a happy ending.

I knew from the first two seasons that all the family members will end up living miserable for the rest of their lives but I hoped for a happy ending.

And so I've wasted my time by watching until the end with the hope that I will be proven wrong by the directors/producers.

Honestly, for the last 3-4 years HBO has failed to deliver a great Tv show from start to bottom...the company either makes mediocre Tv shows that nobody cares or it comes with shows that have a great start but end up with the worst outcome(unless HBO cancels them).

Overall,Succesion is another HBO show that starts great but at the end it fails to deliver the same greatness with which it began.

Another Martin Scorsese film...yay !
18 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Let me start by saying the obvious fact,Martin Scorsese didn't 100% succed to do justice to the book his film is made by.

This is the first time, for me anyway, when the book is way better than the movie adaptation.

Now...I don't say that the film isn't Oscar worthy, but it could have been done better given the fact it 3 hours and a half long(the ending is porly adapted and changed in some places than the one in the book).

The actors are great but in the case of Leonardo Dicaprio,he played other roles better than this one. His best villain role is the one from Django Unchained.

Still...Killers of The Flower Moon is a better Oscar competitor than Barbie, but the Best Picture will surely go to Christopher Nolan film Oppenheimer.

If i would try to describe Scorsese latest film,I would say that it is just like those superhero movies that he described as not being cinema films...are good and enjoyable but not great.

Overall,Killers of the Flower Moon is just another film added to the Oscars list, with a great story as well as amazing actors but it's made in a sloppy way and it does not achieve the same feelings as the book did.

P. S. Hope this is Martin Scorsese final film, every film he released since 2013 up until now aren't half as great as his first masterpiece films.

Ryan Murphy's mind is unique.Dahmer is his perfect masterpiece.
25 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Ryan Murphy did it again,he made another masterpiece that kinda looks like a mashup between American Horror Story and American Crime Story. I suggest you to start watching the series in the morning because you'd want to binge all the episodes in one day(that's how amazing the series is). All the cast plays their roles beyond perfect, but Even Peters has the best performance of them all(i hope he will win the Emmy).

The year 2022 is the year with the best true-crime shows(Candy-Hulu,Under The Banner of Heaven-Hulu,The Dropout-Hulu,The Staircase-HBO and Black Bird-Apple TV+).

Another great detail that makes Ryan Murphy's series to shine from all the other crime stories of 2022,except Black Bird,is the fact that Ryan Murphy doesn't need to glorify the gore to makes the audience frightened by Dahmer's horrible crimes. Seeing Dahmer's neighbor,Glenda Cleveland reacting to the weird smell as well as the scary sounds that comes from Jeffrey Dahmer room is spooky enough to give you nightmares.

I also liked that, even though the series is called Monster:The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, the director also presents the story of Dahmer's victims. When it comes to true-crime shows about serial kilker,we often focus on the bad guy story more than his victims. Ryan Murphy changed that.

In conclusion,Monster:The Jeffrey Dahmer story stands out as number 1 of top 10 true-crime shows of all time.

Prey (I) (2022)

Prey-the long awaited masterpiece of The Predator franchise.
7 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Prey is,definitely, one of the top 10 films of 2022 as well as the best Predator movie.

I knew from the beggining of the promos/trailers up to now that I would enjoy a lot watching it.

There's not even a flaw to the film: it's neither short nor too long, the action scenes are plenty and well crafterd and the story is great as well as every character has his/her shining moments.

I was a bit scared for the ending of the film, when I saw Taabe(Naru's brother) sacrificing for Naru to escape, for a moment,I had a feeling that his sacrifice will be in vain and Naru will be killed anyway. I'm glad I was wrong,I don't have a problem with the sci fi thrillers ending bad for the good guys...it's just that I got tired of this cliche(Ridley Scott made this mistake with both Prometheus and Alien Covenant).

I also loved the little hit,at the mid-credit of the film,of the Predators returning to Earth to retrive their soldier. A sequel will surely have a great succes for the Predator franchise to rise from the dead as well as proving to Ridley Scott as well as other sci fi directors that we don't need overwhelming plots as well as characters with misunderstood plans.

Overall,Prey is fun, beautiful made and it is a great welcome to the 2022 top 10 best films collection.

Worst western movie.
1 December 2021
I don't mind movies that aren't interesting from the beginning, but The Power of the Dog is weird(not misterious) and boring.

From the trailer as well as some of the critics reviews, the film might look worth watching but it is just another Oscar failure(a movie that might look like a masterpiece but it feels like a mediocre one).

So...if you're looking for a great western, than don't bother waisting your time with this one.

Not even the cinematography isn't worth too much,it's just a cringe movie.

As for the actors ?! They didn't save the movie with their performance.

Midnight Mass (2021)
10/10
Mike Flanagan is the next Stephen King of horror genre.
26 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
At first, the first episode was a bit slow and kinda hard to follow of what's going on and that's because you sometimes get bored.

But after that, all the remaining episodes are just beautiful:the story is original(it has some Salem's Lot moments/references),all of the actors have the chance to shine and the soundtrack is great.

For many viewers, the limited series won't be praised because of the way Mike Flanagan deals with the fate of all the main characters(SPOILER ALERT: almost all of the characters die).

As for the show having a season 2 ?! Well...it's unlikely to see a 2nd season because,at the end of the series,Mike Flanagan gives us a hint about the fate of the vampire who flies West to escape from the sun.

When Warren and Leeza are on the boat waiting for the infected people to pass away,Leeza will say to Warren that she can't feel her. This suggest that once the vampire dies, the magic power that restored Leeza legs fades away too(this is more of a teory of mine that gives me confort for the monster's fate 😉).

Overall, the limited series Midnight Mass is worth watching thanks to its original story, the amazing performance of the cast as well as the beautiful soundtrack.

The Suicide Squad-Best Comic Adaptation since The Dark Knight.
14 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
After almost 4 years of waiting for a sequel/reboot,James Gunn delivered us,in my opinion, one of the best comic book adaptations since Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight.

Don't get me wrong,David Ayer did a decent job trying to make a great Suicide Squad film, but Warner Bros. Won over Ayer's vision of the movie.

The Suicide Squad (2021) is way better than Suicide Squad (2016) because it has great humor,a better script, the violoence/blood scene are beautiful(kinda like Mortal Kombat)and the characters are more likable as well as better crafted by James Gunn.

I loved every characters, but my favorite ones will be:Bloodsport,Rick Flag,King Shark,Harley Quinn,Ratcatcher 2,The Polka-Dot Man,but my biggest surprise was John Cena character The Peacemaker.

I never thought I would say this but John Cena is made for playing Peacemaker and it proved us that it can be a great actor just like David Bautista.

As for James Gunn...he' the greatest director of superhero movies,he should be allowed by both Marvel and DC to produce more films about unknown superheroes.

So now...I'm waiting for The Peacemaker HBO Max show as well as seeing James Gunn making another Suicide Squad movie.

Overall,The Suicide Squad is a better version than its 2016 prequel and you should see it because it's funny, bloody violent, dark and because it is the 2nd best DC Comics film ever made(The Dark Knight will remain the best).

One of the most powerfull films.
13 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Judas and the Black Messiah is,in my opinion,The Best Film of The Year. Shaka King's movie has achieved every task in order to become an Academy Award Film,King talks in Judas and the Black Messiah about:racism, the human nature, the human rights as well as showing us that being diferent,in America,is a crime. I have to say that the cast is beyond amazing, especially the duo between Daniel Kaluuya(Fred Hampton/The Black Messiah) and Keith Stanfield(Wiliam O'Neal/Judas). By the way,the soundtrack is something that I'd never heard in a long time.Every sound/song is electrifying and great. As for the plot/story arc of the film, the 1st and the last act are beautiful but the 2nd act is a bit confusing but nonetheless is still great. Watching Judas and The Black Messiah, for a second,it made me feel like I was watching either a Spike Lee film or a Martin Scorsese movie. That's how great Shaka King's motion picture is,even better than some of the films produced by Lee or Scorsese. I just hope that either Kaluuya or Stanfield,if not both, will win an Academy Award for their magnificient performances. Overall,Judas and The Black Messiah is definitely the best film of the year and try and see it as soon as you can because you won't know what you miss.

Sorry to Bother You is one of the weirdest yet best satire movies ever
7 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I honestly don't know or even not try to understand why some people thinks that Boots Riley's film Sorry to Bother You is,in their eyes,a garbage or just a good movie. But I don't really have a problem with that because all people have the right to an opinion and that opinion can't be judge by being the right opinion or the wrong one. Still,I honestly encourage you to give this movie a try and not skip it because of some mixed reviews, you should see it to at least have your own opinion of the movie and not to be influenced too much by others opinions. After those being said,I have to say that Boots Riley made,in my opinion, one of the wierdest motion picture masterpieces ever, but it did it in such great way that "Sorry to Bother You" not only takes you by surprise with its content but you also laugh, enjoy and get a bit confused during the movie and after the movie ends. Another great aspect about this film are the amazing soundrack combined with the breathtaking performance of all the actors, especially LaKeith Stanfield and Tessa Thompson,as well as the theme of the film. I only gave "Sorry to Bother You" a 9/10 because of the somehow unexpected ending that I found a bit dumb if not a litte sad.The film could have ended with Cassius 'Cash' having a great day,in his house, with his girlfired Detroid but without his nose transforming into a horse nose. Overall,Boots Riley' film Sorry to Bother You it's worth waching or at least give it a shot thanks to its story about american capitalism issues as well as race discrimination that makes this film such a great satire/dark comedy.

Ford vs Ferrari-A perfect masterpiece.Don't miss it
26 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
James Mangold did it again,he proved, with his previous film Logan, that he is the first director who made a perfect R rated superhero movie and now he made another magnificent movie but this time he proved us that he can do a masterpiece without any superheroes in it. If you look at the Russo Brothers than at James Mangold and you compare Mangold non-superhero film(Ford vs Ferrari) with the Russo Brothers film(Extraction),than you'll notice a huge difference between the movies. The thing is that Joe Russo and Anthony Russo are great at making superhero films, where as James Mangold succeed in both ways. Another nice detail about "Ford vs Ferrari" are:1st-the cast fits like a glove with the real characters they portrey, 2nd-the soundtrack is great and it's well balanced with the theme, the emotion of the characters as well as the suspense that the film gives to us(the audience), 3rd-the story is bloody fantastic. By the way,for once I'm glad to watch a perfect race car movie that doesn't have any drugs, guns, heist or ther jail stuff in the film. Don't get me wrong,I like the Fast and Furious films, but sometimes I want something fresh. With that said, all that remains is for me to strongly advise you to not miss watching this film because it is more than a great film,"Ford vs Ferrari" it's a masterpiece. The only regret I have is that James Mangold film should had won the Oscar for Best Picture or Best Screenplay, but it's ok.

Snowpiercer (2020–2024)

Don't trust any of the bad reviews.Make your own opinin about the Tv series
19 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Snowpiercer is not 100% perfect or even as great as the Bong Joon Ho original Snowpiercer(the movie) but the TNT series is still a fantastic Tv series and it may be just my opinion but Snowpiercer(the Tv show) is pretty close of becoming as great as the source material the series inspired. From the beggining of the episode 1 to the end of the 10th episode,I was in such a huge hype and amazed by the:cast, story, themes of the show as well as the level of details and the similarities between the TNT version and the film version of "The Snowpiercer". All that remains now is to wait until the release of the 2nd season of the Tv series,to see if the director of the show will end on a different path than Bong Joon-Ho(the director of the movie). By the way,I love both of the actors who portrait the villain Wilford,Ed Harris was the movie version of the film and he played the role beyond amazing and now we need to see what Sean Bean can do as the antagonist. Overall,"Snowpiercer" is one of the greatest Tv series as well as a great adaptation of Snowpiercer(the movie). And again,if you're unsure of whether you should/shouldn't watch the show than don't trust any of the bad reviews or criticism about the TNT series and go take a leap of faith and just try and see at least the first 3 episodes of "Snowpiercer" and then decide if it's great or not.

Da 5 Bloods-One of the best Vietnam stories
12 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Spike Lee did it again,he released another masterpiece from his Joint Collection and he again succeeded just like he did with his previous film BlackKKlansman to release his movie in a perfect time with what's happening in the present. If "BlackKKlansman" explored the idea of what will happen to America if a racist yet powerful guy like David Duke or even worst Donald Trump would become the president of U.S.A,"Da 5 Bloods" explored the theme/idea of not only the worst treatment the Black G.I. got during and after The Vietnam War but also the aftermath of Donald Trump's elections as the president of the U.S.A. and the riots whose people fight for the same rights the people from Black Power and Black Panther fought during the riots that happend in The Vietnam War. I guess, you could say that in a way,"Da 5 Bloods" could serve as a sequel or a spin-off to Spike Lee previous joint BlackKKlansman. I really hope that this time, expecially with what's happening in America with the rights of all the black people,at The Oscars Spike Lee would get much more graditude for the work he has done and also some rewards to praise amazing movies such as his movie Da 5 Bloods. In the end I advise you to watch Spike Lee latest film Da 5 Bloods because it is a great piece of history not only about America as a country but also the history of black people struggling to live in an America divided by racism and hate.

Django-Tarantino's Unique Masterpiece
15 February 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I will start my review by saying that Django is not just one of the greatest wester/slavery movies of all time, but it is also the best film ever produced/written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. Don't get me wrong,Pulp Fiction is his first masterpiece as well as the movie he made him famous and different than the other directors but Django is not only full with great action/drama and comedy scenes but also the cast is beyond spectacular, the soundtrack is beautiful and in some way,the story of "Django" is a bit better than the one from "Pulp Fiction". Besides Jamie Foxx and Christoph Walts,I really loved Leonardo DiCaprio because his character makes you speechless and it is also the greatest villain he ever played in his entire career. Honesty, after rewatching all of Quentin Tarantino's films I can say that, besides "Pulp Fiction" and "Inglourious Basterds", Django is my favorite film of Tarantino and it sure is better than "Once Upon A Time...in Hollywood". I hope that Tarantino will continue Django story with his sequel called Django/Zorro. Overall,Django is Quentin Tarantino masterpiece as well as the perfect combination between a wester movie and a slavery film that is full with humor, crazy action scenes and a breathtaking cast.

When They See Us-the most beautiful film/Tv show ever made.
17 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I will start my review by saying that no matter how a tough person you are and that you never cry at movies/Tv series,"When They See Us" will make you cry a lot from the beginning to the end. Besides movies like Moonlight,12 Years A Slave and Joker,I didn't had soo many tears in my eyes until I saw this Tv series. Even though When They See Us is a mini-series,for me it felt like a long movie. I think that no other parent, brother or any other relative would want for their kid/brother to be found guilty for crimes he didn't commit and Korey Wise,Keving Richardson,Raymond Santana,Antron McCray and Yusef Salaam lost almost all of their life in a prison because the sistem from USA was corrupt and racist. The Exonerated 5 had been beaten, threatened and hated by the world because of scums like Elizabeth Lederer,Michael Sheehan alongside the worst monster ever Linda Fairstein who should be rotten in jail for life. Another thing that I want to add about Ava DuVernay mini-series is the fact that her series didn't have a mistake, everything is great. The cast is fantastic, the story is powerful and the soundtrack is beautiful. I'm also glad that Jharrel Jerome won an Emmy Award for The Best Actor in a mini-series,he deserves it as well as the other actors who portayed Kevin,Raymond,Antron and Yusef. Overall,When They See Us is the best Netflix mini-series and the best movie/mini-series ever made.

The Captain (2017)

Der Hauptmann(The Captain)-one of the best german movies ever
11 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The Captain is,in my opinion, one of the best german movies ever made and it sure is in top 10 best war movies. The movie is based on the astonishing true story of Pvt. Willi Herold, a teenage deserter from the German army whose sadism would eventually earn him the nickname of the Executioner of Emsland, The Captain picks up two weeks before the end of the war. Herold finds a Nazi captain's uniform to wear and avoid execution. Thus disguised, he soon rallies a ragtag band of brothers whose unquestioning acceptance of his command emboldens him. High on the terrifying charisma of his clothing, he invents a secret mission from the Führer and embarks on a brutal odyssey of torture and slaughter. From the beggining of the movie right to the end of it,I was amazed by the things Willi Herold needed to do to keep his appereance and the movie also kept me in suspense and I was kinda afraid for Herold's life almost all the time. Another great thing that I found interesting about the movie, besides the cast and the story, is the choice of Robert Schwentke to make the movie in black and white. It make me feel like I'm watching an old war movie. Overall,"The Captain" is an amazing war movie that is based on the astonishing real story of Willi Herold-The Executioner of Emsland.

The Bad Batch is almost like a spin-off to Mad Max
1 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I'm glad that I didn't wanted to read or watch any of the movie critics as well as some of the audience reviews for "The Bad Batch" because I wanted to make my own impression about the movie and not to get influenced by someone else opinion about the movie or to start watching the movie by having low expectations because of the mixed reviews for the film. I honestly liked the movie and I think that "Bad Batch" almost maked me feel like I'm watching to a spin-off for "Mad Max" or that the movie takes place in the same apocalyptic future as the one from "Mad Max" but in a slow way and without too much crazy things like the ones from "Mad Max". The cast and the soundtrack are the things that make this movie powerfull and great. As for the story,I guess you can say that it's not really the greatest story you have ever seen in a movie about a dark future for the mankind but it sure is a great plot. I knew I would enjoy this movie right from the beginning of that scene where Arlen is caught by two cannibals who than left her without an leg and an arm and at same time one guy is listening to the song "All That She Wants" while watching at Arlen how she is cut by a cannibal woman. Another great scene is with Jason Momoa who is listening to "Karma Chameleon" and at the same time kills a woman and then he cook her and eats her alongside his girlfriend/wife and with them it's a little girl who might be his daughter. Overall,Bad Batch is a great movie full with an amazing cast, great soundtrack and it fits perfect as a spin-off for Mad Max.

J.J. Abrams gave us the best Star Wars finale
28 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I will start my review by saying that, before the release of the movie,I didn't saw any spoilers nor have I read or seen other people's reviews because most of them had the same idea about the movie where as some of the audience/fans had a different idea. So,as a huge fan of the Star Wars franchise,I decided to watch the movie without asking for a friend's opinion about the film. I'm glad I did that because now I have my own opinion about the film and that opinion is that Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker is the perfect finale for the hole Star Wars franchise and for that we have to thanks J.J. Abrams. I think that J.J. Abrams did a fantastic job of saving The Star Wars franchise after Rian Johnson almost destroyed it with his Star Wars version called "Star Wars The Last Jedi". Now don't get me wrong,I didn't hate his movie but I thought that, for a Star Wars film,it was just ok. What I didn't liked or loved too much is the fact that Ben Skywalker had to gave his life in order to save Rey from dying. The thing that I loved the most about "The Rise of Skywalker",besides the plot, the cast as well as the CGI effects, are the tons of references to almost all the Star Wars movies/Tv shows. Overall,if you're a huge fan of The Star Wars franchise and if you want to see the finale of the Star Wars franchise than you must watch J.J. Abrams film because it really is one of the best Star Wars films ever made. It's full with great CGI effects, amazing cast and a powerfull story.

Watchmen is the best TV show ever made
18 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
HBO's Watchmen is definitely the most beautiful, mysterious and beyond amazing TV show ever made.Sorry Game of Thrones but no matter how much seasons GOT has,Watchmen almost beat the entire GOT series with just one season.Thank you Damon Lindelof, you gave us the best Watchmen sequel ever,no other comic book/movie sequel to Watchmen will do what you did. I honestly don't understand why some of the audience/fans thinks that the show is garbage or that it is just ok,this is the only time when the movie critics have a better opinion than some of the audience. I also hope that HBO won't get too rush of making another season for Watchmen because right now, having just this one season is perfect.Maybe after some time,if Damon Lindelof will still be part of the project,I would like to see a season 2 of this magnificient pice of art called Watchmen,by the way the ending is beautiful and is almost just like the one from Joker 2019.

Godless (2017)

Godless is as great as the HBO Westworld
17 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I never thought that I will say this but, after a long time of watching/playing almost everything from the western genre,Godless is probably one of the best western TV show/movie ever made, not even Deadwood is as great as this Netflix show.As for Westworld,it still remains,in my opinion, the best western movie/series ever made,Godless being the 2nd. For me,Godless is perfect, the soundrack is beautiful, all the cast is amazing and has a strong performance and the story is better than almost every plot from the western movies/TV shows. I really loved the ending,it remainded me of some great old western movies ending(when the hero stops and looks at the sunrising/at a magnificient view or at someone they love and found after a long searching and then the movie ends with a great song that gives you chills. Another thing that I loved about "Godless" is the fact that it only has one season, all the western Tv shows should have just 1-2 seasons and not 3 or 5 seasons because in time that show can become less great as well as starting to get really boring. So,if you're a huge fan of the western genre than you shouldn't miss "Godless" at all.

I Am Mother-The Best SF Movie Ever
14 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
"I am mother" has all the things a great sf movie needs to have(great script, beautiful CGI Effects and a great cast) Some movies from this genre have the tedancy to relay too much on CGI effects and less on the story, but not this movie. What I did not like too much was the ending and that's because it's not a clear ending or a bad/good one,it's a bit mysterious. Overall,"I Am Mother" is the best Sf movie from 2019.

The Irishman (2019)
10/10
The Irishman-the 3rd Best Mafia Movie Ever
30 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Martin Scorsese did it again,he released another astonishing movie about betrayel and mob familly but this time we can see Al Pacino playing in a Scorsese movie for the first time. I have to say that "The Irishman" is definitely not the best mafia movie ever made,"Godfather" being the best and its followed by "Goodfellas".So this make this movie the 3rd best movie of the genre. I really loved Joe Pesci in this movie,I think it's beyond amazing for an actor who's retired to come back after some time for a complex role like Pesci has and to nailed it. As for Rober De Niro and Al Pacino, they make you speechless because of the strong relationship the actors have behind the scenes and as the characters they play. Another great thing that Martin Scorsese nailed it,besides the fantastic score and story,is the CGI effects for Al Pacino,Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro.I never seen an entire movie based on De-aging characters. We saw some few scenes with this CGI effecs in Star Wars and Marvel but not like we've seen in this movie. What I didn't liked too much but I got used to it where the blue eyes effects for Robert De Niro character,it sometimes made the CGI effects look weird or that it was something wrong with the special effects but I wasn't too distracted by this issue and I know that the blue eyes were supposed to make De Niro look more like a irishman. If I would have to decide for the best mafia movie between The Goodfellas and The Irishman,I would choose The Goodfellas because of the astonishing dialogue between the characters and for the way the female characters are well made in that movie. As a 2019 movie,"The Irishman" is the 2nd best movie from this year,"Joker" being the best one. Another thing that I would want to add is the fact that the Martin Scorsese's films are evolving way better than the ones that Quentin Tarantino has.No offense to Tarantino but his last film Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood is almost good, not great or a masterpiece and it also has some boring scenes. Overall,"The Irishman" is :one of the best movies that Martin Scorsese made in the years of his career, that has a fantastic story as well as an amazing cast whose performances are very complex and well made by one of the best directors of the world(Martin Scorsese).

Haunt is finally a horror movie that is not just worth to watch but you really need to watch this movie if you're a huge fan of the horror/slasher movies. From the moment the movie started and towards the end,it kept me in a huge suspense and it really gave me some amazing jump scares, not to mention that even though the plot might be similar to other horror movies just wait and see the end and it will change your mind. By the way, when I saw those psychos dressed in clowns I was expected some regular dudes and what I got was way better. Another great thing about this film are the bloody/gore scenes that are a lot in the movie and are pretty similar to the ones from the horror movies like Friday the 13th,Texas Chainsaw Massacre,Purge and A Nightmare on Elm Street. As for the cast, all the actors from the cast are perfect and sometimes the characters who were hunted by the clowns made me feel like I'm right with them or I'm seeing the horror things happening to them or their friends from their eyes. Honestly,I don't know if the team behind this movie will think of making a sequel with other teenages but if they'll do,than I'm 100% sure that it will at least be as great as this one. I will end my review by saying again that if you're a huge fan of the horror/slasher films than don't miss this movie because it is easily one of the best horror movies ever and maybe the 1st or 2nd best horror film of 2019.

Joker (I) (2019)
10/10
Joker-best DC movie since The Dark Knight
7 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Since I've heard about the rumors about a Joker origin movie being made up to the point where I've heard that Todd Phillips film Joker has won The Golden Lion Award at TIFF and in doing so it has become the first comic book/superhero movie that won the big award at TIFF,I knew that,as a huge fan of the character, I had to see Joker in theater. By the way Joaquin Phoenix portrayal of The Joker is beyond breathtaking and without him, this film wouldn't have won The Golden Lion at TIFF and it wouldn't have been received by both critics and fans of the characters as a masterpiece/amazing movie. For me,Heath Ledger will be my favorite live action version of the comic book character but Phoenix really adds a big plus to the comic book character history and personality as well as making us feeling sorry for The Clown Prince of Crime and not to sympathize or to condone what Arthur Fleck/Joker does to people like Murray Franklin and Thomas Wayne but to understand why he does it and unlike Arthur/Joker,both of them don't give a damn about the people like him ,the people who are poor and have serious medical problems. I really loved all the scenes from Todd Phillips movie and if I would have to pick 4 favorite scenes from the movie than those would be:the subway scene where Arthur Fleck kills those 3 guys who worked for Thomas Wayne because they bullied Arthur, the stairway dance scene, the hole talk show scene where Arthur kills Murray and the final scene where Arthur is in Arkham Asylum and starts laughing and after a few seconds we see a flashback with the youg Bruce Wayne being alone in a dark alley and in front of him are his parents who are dead and after that a woman who is in there with Arthur and it's his psychologist ask Arthur to tell her the joke that Arthur laughed and Arthur says " You wouldn't understant it". That final scene is verry similar to the end from Alan Moore comic book Batman The Killing Joke where Joker starts telling Batman a joke that only the two of them would understant it. I really loved Joaquin Phoenix in this movie and he should really win The Best Actor Award at the Oscar Ceremony. The same thing goes for Todd Phillips as well,he should win at least one of these 3 Oscar Awards(Best Picture,Best Director,Best Original Screenplay) and Hildur Guðnadóttir should win the Oscar for Best Original Score because without her, both Joker and Chernobyl wouldn't have been complete. Honestly,I don't know if Joker will have a sequel or not,Todd Phillips has said that this movie is a standalone DC film and that right now he doesn't have in mind a sequel for the film but if Joaquin Phoenix would want to do a sequel with him and if Warner Bros will ask him if he can do a sequel, than he might do it. I personally prefer for Joker to not have a sequel because it might ruin the well received love/praise for this film. Overall,Todd Phillips movie Joker is not just a great character study film but it is the 2nd if not the best DC movie ever and none of this would have been possible without Joaquin Phoenix performance as The Joker.

True Detective (2014– )
10/10
Season 3 is the masterpiece of the show
6 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
"True Detective" is another great show made by the best streaming service ever and that's HBO.Every show that HBO made is either great/masterpiece or at leaat good but none of them are bad. In this case, the 1st season of True Detective is amazing followed by the 2nd season which was just good,it wasn't bad but neither great. And we've reached the 3rd season which is now the last season as well as the masterpiece of the show. Why I think that the 3rd season is the best, well cuz it has what every great show needs to have and those things are : an amazing story,a cast whose acting is beyond astonishing( Mahershala Ali as well as Stepehn Dorff acting performance is speeechless) and the show is the best combination between action-drama and suspense. Another great thing about the 3rd season is the way that end the season,it tricked us by giving us more than one ending(2-3). When Watts tells the two detectives the truth he knew by saying that Julie is now dead and after that I've expected the season to end but that's not the ending. The real ending is thatt Julie is alive and now she has a familly with her classmate, the one who had a crush on her when she disappeared. Julie never died. She married her childhood sweetheart and lives with her daughter in a lovely house on a quiet street in Arkansas. Overall,True Detective is not just a great show but it's one of those shows that are worth rewatching from time to time, especially the 3rd season.
