Gehraiyaan (2022)

Do not judge before watching the movie

I was sceptical about this movie, however, it turned out to be a pretty great movie. Yes, not just good, great!

While watching the movie with my friends, we kept on getting into small discussions about the motives, behaviour, mentality, the situations created, etc. About relationships, adultery, love, etc, and It made me realise that this only happens when a movie is engaging, making you think, and effectively achieve what its suppose to!

The screenplay is amazing, it doesn't go into exposition and shows the emotions, implications, and things happening in the background through dialogues and subtle visual queues.

The acting and direction is great. Every single actor has done a great job. Ananya Pandey was just brilliant. Deepika was at the top of her game as usual.

The story is way more deeper and darker than people might have anticipated. There are several unexpected directions the story and the characters go into which was delightful to watch.

Please do watch it, you won't be disappointed!

Kenny Sebastian: The Most Interesting Person in the Room (2020 TV Special)

It's hard to digest that it's written and performed by a professional

For his fans this special may feel good but in actuality this is below average stuff. It's not something that you expect from "one of the best Professionals" from the comedic field. Most of the show will make you smile rather than laugh.

For "some reason" the Crowd is mostly filled with girls and they seem to laugh and cheer even when he's not cracking a joke or saying something good. Odd 🤔.

In my conclusion I would like to say that please don't watch this below average stuff. You will leave it half way through anyway. Better to Skip it completely. Funny how He's called a "professional" comedian.

Black Mirror: Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too (2019) Season 5, Episode 3

Please don't let the unreasonably harsh reviews mislead you

Watch it and decide for yourself. I personally loved the episode. It was heart breaking, funny and had great characters. The plot isn't great but good enough to keep you hooked. This episode is very well paced and quite fun compared to other black mirror episodes which are usually rather bleak. Miley Cyrus is at her finest when it comes to acting. The background score is better than any other black mirror episode. The songs featured in the episode are awesome and actually sung and written and composed by Miley Cyrus. Overall it was a pretty good episode(way better than some previous episodes like "crocodile") and way better than anyone would expect. It was quite surprising how good this episode was considering the baseless reviews.

The Chalet (2017–2018)

It was great until the first half the the final episode!

You cannot expect who the killer is and it does a great job at keeping the identity a secret till the end but the second half of the final episode is where the show gets ruined for you. Everything becomes predictable, it's exactly how you had thought it would end. the ending is so obvious that you could actually stop watching the show once the killer's face is revealed in the first half of the final episode. It's exactly what you had in your mind. Every word, every decision, every person who survives and everyone who doesn't, the plan, etc, everything!...Forget about being simple or realistic(which the show actually is), it's absolutely a huge let down, the final episode. So bad that is ruined the show completely.

House M.D. (2004–2012)

A medical mystery drama. I can believe how awsome this is.

Please do yourself a favour and watch this. This is a treat from beginning to end. Every second of it. The characters are insanely realistic, very well developed over rhe course of the show and will make you fall in love with them. I have never been attached to characters besides the leads but this show holds amazing characters, each and every single one of them.all the cases and the side conflicts with the characters in each episode is great. Good bleans of mystery and drama. Every episode is on par with the overall marvels of the show. This is as good as the American television gets. Just go for it.

Unexpectedly disappointing

This movie was pathetic even at its best. At this point people will take whatever that has "bts" printen on it and that's the problem. The mocie didn't do much toh showcase the band members, the movie was badly edits with horrible sound quality. The movie was basically the leftover parts of their show on youtube(which wasn't the promised content before the release). Despite being a bts fan I have to admit that this movie is trash. A disgraceful thing what they did to us fans, taking us granted like this.

Polar (I) (2019)

Highly entertaining and visually stunning.

The movie is brilliant in it's own way. It's highly entertaining. Don't listen to the critics. It has a high approval rate among audience. The action is top notch, the production value is as good as netflix gets and the story isn't bad at all. The actors acted well and the director and cinematographer did a good job giving the film a vibe of its own. Just go for it.

Its funny, heartwarming and an overall solid entertainer. The story is simple but good, the characters are simple but will make you fall in love with them and has a twist ending which will make you smile wide. Just go for it.

This one took me by surprise. I heard a lot about this movie and thought of giving it a shot but guess what...it's even better than it is said to be!!! The story is mind bending, it uses a unique way of telling the a story which us visually confusing for the viewers but at the same time makes them think and enjoy the process. The twists a unpredictable and it's everything that you hoped for and even more!!! Go for it, a 10/10 for me.

The cinematography looks great and the ladies look beautiful but apart from that the story, direction, acting, characters, etc is total garbage. A lot of brand placements in a single movie. Makes it less like a movie and more like a feature length commercial break consisting of various brand's advertisement. Pure garbage.

Persona 5: The Animation (2018–2019)

TOTally worth your precious time

Based on the acclaimed game of the same name, this anime is way ahead of expectations. Its clever, beautiful animation, action packed and a unique story. The mai protagonist, the sude characters and the villain are just amazing. Its very well crafted and paced. The first wpisode itself will intrigue you and grip you tightly as it advances.

THE STORY is about a high school guy who live a normal life during the day and is a master thieft at night. In the first episode there is an awesome escape scene. He and hus friends woth special abilities gained through "personas" go up against a phantom thieft who's likes are as good as the great thief lupin himself. Just watch it already!!

Kalifornia (1993)

Beautifully realistic depiction and very enjoyable.

Brad pitt alone can be the reason to watch this film. He shines in this, one of his career best performance. Won't tell you anything about it at all. Let it hit you raw as it did to me. Just do yourself a favour and watch it. It's totally worth it. Great story, performance, direction and magnificent brad pitt.

Detective Conan (1996– )

The best!!!

This is the only abime in the history of anime who's fillers are equally great as the main episodes and can't be missed!!! Its long yet everyone who starts watching goes on to finish it. Everyone who has watched it has loved it. All the episodes feature different cases, all impossible crimes and yet conan solves it. It also has few side characters who will make you fall in love with them. Along with the cases the anime also has two parallel stories which are the heart of the anime(one is the black organisation and the other one is the tragic love story of sinichi and Ran). Just do yourself a favour and watch it.

Arjun Reddy (2017)

A modern cult!!!

Arjun reddy is an unorthodox film which does everything the right way. The lead character himself is enough to take you through the entire movie even if there was no plot or anything at all. pure brilliance is-are the only two words that can use critic this movie in the most simple and modest way. A beautiful story, a different kinf of love story laced with fresh and insanely ralistic and awsome characters and the dialogues and screenplay is a level higher than any other south movie till date. A lot to learn and cherish from this movie. Just watch it. Now!!!

Rangasthalam 1985 (2018)

It's totally worth your while. It's the perfect mix of emotions, humour, suspense, romance and realistic action(which is a rare in the south film industry). The story is good and comes with a great twist but works way better than other films of the same genre and overall vibe because it's done in a very enjoyable and entertaining way. The quality of acting, direction, cinematography, writing, production design, etc is just brilliant. Its a movie made with so much heart and is definitely will stay as one of the best film in the history of Indian and South Indian film industry.
