Expected more

A disappointment, this is one to not see. I was aghast that anyone financed this sorry excuse for a movie.

Sometimes Hallmark has magic and chemistry
28 May 2019
The photography was excellent and, regrettably, it seemed that the actors read their lines perfectly but more emoting was needed. Perhaps the Hallmark machine is cranking the product out a wee bit too quickly? The second half was better but still..,

Watching this production is a feel-good movie
29 December 2018
Viewing this feels like watching a play. It has religious overtones that deal with accountability for past decisions and accountability. I enjoyed it.

I liked this movie for its heart-tugging romance and its beautiful Italian backgrounds
10 September 2018
OK, it's a teensy bit sappy but it blends Cinderella with Romeo and Juliet. The long lost love that Vanessa Redgrave seeks is acted by her real life husband. Great Italian backgrounds enhance this movie.

An interesting perspective of the evolution of workers rights
2 September 2018
Until workers united and said "We're not going to take it anymore" the abuse continued. This movie offered an introspective view of employee rights.

An entertaining retrospective
2 September 2018
Perhaps romanticized and a bit ethereal this movie relates a bitter pill of history using regular doses of symbolism. Definitely worth watching.

They tried, they really tried
28 August 2018
This movie is a good example of actors who thought they could act. After viewing this movie you will really appreciate actors who identify with their role. Nice try.

This was actually a pretty good movie

A difficult subject dealt with by good acting and directing and script. Natasha Rothwell was outstanding as the keeper of order in a rowdy setting.

Sadly true about our present politics
15 May 2018
This is a tapestry of threads from polarized fronts about 2nd Amendment rights, morality and politicians who do not vote from their hearts.
