Welcome to Chinese film dominance
27 December 2020
Youth contains all the regular super-production resources: budget, the audience (China at least), cinematography, music, plot and well-done production. Could seem propaganda (as other American or European movies at their moment), however if we focus on the quality and audience impact, Youth is a remarkable first Chinese production (in years) that catch both the attention and feelings of the audiences.

In my opinion the movie that open the gate to many more Chinese superproductions. Which is normal when a country becomes to be a superpower.

The aesthetics of chaos
20 December 2020
Would you like to connect yourself with human nature? Well, this movie is for you. Meaningful productions as Capernaum deserves all the attention and support. Two hours that shows an unbelievable reality through an impeccable direction and prominent natural performances. Even though Capernaum means chaos -which is undeniable- you should experience a powerful sensation of aesthetics and hope.

Pain for the audience & Glory for Almodovar
24 January 2020
What a painful movie for the audience are these two hours of disenchant story. Decadent as the plot, is the narration. The movie start with high expectations but too soon is starting down in an unstoppable fall. Even though Almodovar got the glory of the critics, the Oscar nomination is undeserved.

Great resources but weak performances
15 January 2020
A simple story well told in one shot. Catchy from the beginning due to an astonishing camera work and music. Unfortunately, weak performances (exception the leading actor) ruined the possibility to watch a memorable film.

Gentle touch of reality
3 January 2020
A fine piece by Canadian film Industry. Gentle touch of reality through a fiction tale. Remarkable direction and rhythm. Just a little bit more of dramaturgy to be an astonish movie.

Great sample of 9 stars movie: plot, acting, score, direction and deeply topic (Inequality). A little bit of more cinematography to be Masterpiece.

Disappointing film
24 December 2019
I had never seen before Mr. Rogers, actually, I never imagined a public figure like him in North America. However, Tom Hank's performance does not denote a man plenty of natural kindness, on the contrary , in the film I watched a well done replica (performing out of energy) triying to convince his public about his goodness. Guys, please you are not reviewing Mr Rogers, you are reviewing a film that definitely does not deserve 8, 9 or 10 stars (Probably Mr. Rogers yes, but Mr Hanks and his Beautiful Day in the Neidhborhood, not).
