Doctor Who: Rosa (2018)
By far one of the show's best
What a terrific episode. Great performances and a brilliant, moving script. Very good visuals as well, the world of Alabama in 1955 felt real. I didn't think it was preachy at all, but these days mentioning or depicting racism, or depicting an important historical event is seen as being "preachy."
As someone who has been watching this show for a long time, this is one of the best and most important episodes I've ever seen, and one that's truly worthy of all the acclaim it's been given. I don't think it's a coincidence that almost all of the 1 star reviews come from accounts made in recent days...
Trust Me (2017)
Whittaker is great, as is Small, but the writing is a bit unbelievable
Whittaker and Small are great, but the plot is unbelievable in many points. It's tense and well acted. Too much lens flare though.
I don't see how people are saying that Whittaker gave a weak performance. She did a great job imo (but she's absolutely incredible in Paddy Considine's "Journeyman"). The writing made her character unlikable though.
8 out of 10- tense, well acted, a bit unbelievable
The Office: Niagara: Part 1 (2009)
Amazing
I really loved this episode. Jim and Pam have been my favorite characters since the Office started, so seeing them get married was just amazing. This episode was so much fun to watch, the cinematography was beautiful and the acting was superb.
10/10 I love the Office
