American Horror Stories: Aura (2022)
Creepy
I really like how they did this one. Creepy with a twist and a satisfying ending. Just as you would expect from AHS. They pulled in some good actors for this one as well.
American Horror Stories: Dollhouse (2022)
Good Good Good
I really liked this one. Good on ya!!! The AHS "realm" is one of my favorite anthology series. I really enjoy all they do. Some more than others but I always enjoy it.
American Horror Stories: Drive (2022)
It's AHS
I love AHS. This one didn't disappoint. I always find them enjoyable. Some more than others but always enjoyable. However for this episode all I have to say is that Bella Thorne cannot act. Sry but that's just the skinny. I would have given it a 9 if not for her.
The Fades (2011)
Mind-numbingly frustratingly bad......
Mind-numbingly frustratingly bad writing. Why does BBC insist on making the protagonists proclaim that they're not going to kill anyone even at the expense of their friends and family dying? It's extremely frustrating. It's so obvious what needs to be done to reach a conclusion and when the character doesn't do it then you get frustrated at the show. It's like, "hey, why didn't you do this or that. It's so obvious.". That's why it didn't last past a season.

I would have given it a 9
Not bad. Good on the creepy and I want to know what happens next. I gave it a 7 because of the angsty little teenager. WHY do they always think that the teenager that treats their parents and others like crap is a good character? I mean really. If the girl had been supportive and kind that would have worked out too and made her more interesting but the second you see the a-typical teen come out you know what's going to happen. GOD I hate that lazy type of writing. Other than that it 's a good watch. Have a good day.
Invasion (2021)
Slow
This is moving really slow. Too slow. Good acting all around and I think it's well written but they are taking forever to get to the point. I recorded the last four episodes and just binge watched them. I found myself skipping through parts that I found unnecessary and was still able to follow the story. I'm afraid that when I get to the end of the season that I'll look back and feel like my time was wasted. I'm not saying don't give it a try and I'm not saying I don't like it. It just has a lot of wasted space.

Wow this is bad!
First off I'm a huge fan of the original but when there is a remake of a show I used to love I look at it like it's someone else's interpretation of the original. Usually it's fun to see how someone tells the story. In this case I think someone dragged the interpreter into the basement, mafia style, and did them in. This is not a good show. I get it. Racism bad. Gay people good, Let's go down the check list and make sure we get everything in here so we appease everyone. In the original I got the immediate sense that the people in charge cared about the people from the past. Like they wanted to help them. There was a weaving of story lines and intricate back stories and likeable characters. I don't think half these actors know what they're doing and the writers sure as hell don't. This is painful to watch and I'm really disappointed because I was really looking forward to a good show.
The Last Days of American Crime (2020)
Horribly Executed
Fantastic idea for a movie! Horribly, horribly executed.
Pacific Rim Uprising (2018)
Soooo Predictable
25 min in and I got it all figured out. Just cliche after cliche. Pissed off unhelpful cadet that's gonna make it hard on the new kid because of some past slight, the bad guy (women) who's obviously the destraction, the scientist comedic relief who figures it all out and I just don't want to continue because even writing this out seems like such a waste of time. Maybe if you're high and bored or a 12 yr old you'll find it enjoyable. Oh and btw, the acting sucks. How John Boyega went from Star Wars to this is beyond me.
The Last Man on Earth (2015)
Phil
I love this show. I didn't start watching it till the end of the third season and then binge watched it. The only thing I don't like is the character, Phil. I hate him. Not the actor, the character. If I was in that situation I would have put a bullet in his head a long time ago. If it wasn't for the supporting characters I wouldn't watch this show because I hate Phil so much. Other than that I love the show.
Colossal (2016)
Not like the trailer
It was way more a drama than a comedy. They totally mislead people with that trailer. Not cool as far as I'm concerned. The movie stands on its own as a drama so I don't know why they felt the need to deceive people. I would totally recommend this to people but I'm telling them it's a drama.
