Dakteo Yibangin (2014)
Ignore the medical stuff, enjoy the drama!
As a doctor, I couldn't help laughing at all the impossible surgical scenarios created by the series... CTVS surgeons doing renal transplants and intra-uterine surgeries and stuff. But I liked the part about Dr Park Hun being an ingenious surgeon who could trace the surgical anomaly simply by careful observation. This is a documented fact that in olden times when there were no CT scans and MRI's then all surgeries were performed 'blind' and the skills of those surgeons were superior to our generation.
Lee Jong Suk stole the show with his charm, hair style and expressions. I liked him very much in this series, simply because of the range of emotions he was able to bring into his character, never once deviating from the role. All supporting cast was good, especially his father. The villains were well casted.
Some scenes turned out a bit too melodramatic but the main characters kept the fell of the series alive and I found myself rooting for the good guys right till the end! If u r a Lee Jong Suk fan then u will enjoy this series :)

Could a love like that still be out there ....?
Dan-i describes it as reading her old book over and over again...and still finding new lines she had overlooked earlier.. A friend tells her that the book has remained the same, she is the one whose heart has changed now.. So she lets her heart lead her back to the old book and enjoy every page as it unfolds anew.
(After watching W, I seriously thought this guy couldn't look any cuter :P
I mean he is too perfect..he ends up looking even plastic at times.. but he just bounces back with such unexpected sincerity. I loved seeing them together!)
The best part of the series is how all the characters portray their ages so gracefully and fall in (and out) of love at their own pace. The best selling series need not end with a bang. The slow simple ending gives a more forever kinda feel to their romance.
Recommended for those who have fallen in love more than once... it needn't be fast paced and edgy to make u smile :)
Road to Ladakh (2003)
Short n crisp
I was quite surprised to see the lack of reviews for this brilliant film.
The story is so short it could easily have been a tv episode. Dialogues are few and far between. Yet, there is not a single empty moment in the film. The background score (resembles Gupt for some reason!) keeps a steady rhythm. The viewer slowly makes assumptions about the mismatched couple. Until the end when the tables turn on the predator & prey. Smart stuff!
