Swargandharv Sudhir Phadke (2024)
Sound of Maharashtra, Pride of India
Yogesh Deshpande's direction combines music and drama in such a impactful way that it left me stunned. As visually stunning and beautifully scored as it is truly captivating. Swargandharva Sudhir Phadke's biography is worthwhile, sending out a poignant message about following one's dreams.
Yogesh's film is well-crafted enough to also work as a drama which highlights an artist's real life struggle.
Movie in itself is a compelling character-driven story that invites viewers inside the life struggling story of Sudhir Phadke and provides them with a timeless story throughout. Its message about obsession and music is worship is poignant and will remain relevant throughout.

Shyamchi Aai (2023)
Heart touching and emotionally effective.
Nobody can match the charisma of Marathi movies. Shyamchi Aai is an autobiography of social activist Pandurang Sadashiv Sane who hailed from Konkan region of Maharashtra during the British rule. He belonged to a Brahmin Family and the plot revolves around his relationship with his mother. This movie portrays selfless, boundless, unconditional love of a mother for her child. This movie highlights that mothers are the unsung heroes in our lives, no matter what mistakes we make or how far we stray from the path they want us to take, mothers are the ones who give us life and make it worth living. The fact that this is a true story, it played a massive part in the conclusion having such an impact on me. All in all Shyamchi Aai offers an immensely satisfying cinematic experience, that is stunning, powerful, and an emotional whirlwind. End scene will move you to tears. If you're in the mood for a heart wrenching drama with an uplifting ending, watch this one, you will not be disappointed.
