The Cross Connection with Tiffany Cross (2020)
Sorry but that voice is a deal breaker
Tiffany Cross' voice sounds like two cats fighting over a can of tuna.
Attention MSNBC, the following people are just atrocious to listen to:
-Jennifer Rubens (did she have too much wine before the show?)
-Ali Velshi (the tone and harshness of his voice is just offensive)
-Racheal Maddow (self indulgent cackles)
-Ari Melber (stop with the terrible puns)
-Paul Butler (did he get donkey kicked in the head?)
-Joe Scarborough (blowhard)
Attention MSNBC, the following people are fantastic and should be promoted or given their own show:
-Malcom Nance
-Joy Reid
-Chris Hayes
-Claire McCaskill
-Zerlina Maxwell
-Steve Schmidt
Voice, tone, and pitch matters, delivery matters. Just like lines in a production.
Boardwalk Empire (2010)
Addictive
Everything about this show is pleasant to watch. It's beautifully staged, well acted with a brilliant cast of characters. The dialogue is well written, the story is well paced and every episode moves the story along concisely.
If Boardwalk Empire was the follow up to that dreck piece of garbage The Sopranos then Terrance Winter has redeemed himself.
Barry: ronny/lily (2019)
This episode was garbage
Hader wrote and directed it. Hader, stick to acting. Let the professional writers run the show please.
Clearly all of the 10/10 ratings were friends of the cast and crew and wanted to keep their jobs so they padded this crap wreck of an episode.
Every time I watch it, I realize more and more how hodge podge this episode was and how poorly planned it was.
Barry: Chapter Four: Commit ... to YOU (2018)
Fantastic acting
Paula Newsome and Sarah Goldberg crush it in this episode! Fantastic performances from the entire cast, Winkler, Hader, Root, pure gold.
The Magicians (2015)
Terrible acting
Terrible acting. Just awful. Over the top overblown and over dramatic. The following actors should be fired immediately: Arjun Gupta, Stella Maeve, Kacey Rohl. Absolute garbage acting. But I suppose because it's Syfy they didn't have a huge budget so they hired these losers.
The show offers a few gems but they're buried underneath all of the bad acting. If I have to suffer through another one of Arjun Gupta's bad performances I'll give up on this show entirely. His over the top dramatic style doesn't fit into any scene, he and others stick out like a sore thumb.
Too much of this show is just run-of-the-mill anyway so what am I watching this for?
The Hateful Eight (2015)
No need to re-watch this one
Terrible film.
1. Poorly developed characters. 2. A hodge-podge of miscast actors. 3. Revisited version of Django Unchained. 4. Re-used/unoriginal dialogue from prior films. 5. Poor story.
Summary: The whole thing just seemed very forced and clunky, I didn't feel engaged at all which is a shame because I had high expectations as I'm sure that a lot of people did and most were disappointed. Quentin Tarantino's films are rich because of how developed his characters are, Hans Landa is a perfect example of that. The film had no pace, people were dying but I didn't care because I had no interest in the characters. Quentin Tarantino should just give this one another go, I think he was on to something but this one just derailed.
