Suiyô Dôdeshô (1996)
the show is not funny. Annoying laughter tracks being played non-stop.
This show is made by HTB, a tv station based in Sapporo, Japan. It's now on Netflix. As an Asian viewer outside of Japan, i don't find this show funny. This maybe due to cultural differences. However, the laughter tracks that are being played every 15 seconds and each episode last 23 minutes means you have to hear someone laugh nearly 100 times is very annoying. The two actors just keep laughing for no reason or some trivial things. One season is about the two characters traveling to vietnam and that season is better in my opinion. The show runs from 1996 till today and have an official youtube channel.
Blonde (2022)
very boring, plot development a mess, have to use FF and X2 playback
First of all the acting are bad, it's so strange and unnatural. The main actress keep whispering from the begin till the end makes me sleepy.
Incoherent plot development, editing is a mess, it jump from one scene to another one that has nothing to do with previous scene. To me, it looks like the film was edited by an unprofessional amature. Loosen plots, a bit of this and a bit of that while the main plot is out of focus and the final production looks like a 3 hours commercial breaks. I finish watching the film using X2 playback and frequent fast forward. The idea of making a film about Marilyn Monroe is great but this film is a complete failure.
Hua deng chu shang (2021)
just a typical Taiwanese soap drama, slow and boring.
It's the same typical Taiwanese drama that you watch on Taiwanese TV, slow and boring regardless the backgound. This time, it happens in the late 80s in a night club, next time it could happen in a hospital or an office in the 90's. The stoyline is the same, love, relationship, family. Don't get fooled by the advertisment. The show has nothing to do with Taiwan's red light district culture in the 80's.
Jiok (2021)
This show is a mess and even worse with poor Netflix Chinese subtitles...
I still have no clue what I have watched. The show is a mess and doesn't come with a Chinese dubbed track so the only choice for us is to enable Netflix Chinese subtitles which notoriously known as lenghty translation and often fading out in less than a second which make me hard to follow the plot.
The Matrix (1999)
No idea what is it about.
The dimenson where people live is not real?
By taking a red pill, a person can travel to the real world (which is controlled by AI computers). A new world can be created at anytime by downloading a file from server? What the hell it that?
Since the storyline is completely fake and non-sense, why make it so complicated?
I tried to understand the plot many times and I still have idea what is it about.
Das schaurige Haus (2020)
Interested film with mild horror
I enjoy it. It's a soft thriller with mild horror. No gory scene!
Eyes Wide Shut (1999)
way too long, little contents and endless talk
I would give it a much higher rating if the runtime of this film is between 80 to 90 minutes but why over 2 hours where the storyline is simple and there's not much to say? The film is too slow...
Mamma Mia! (2008)
A bunch of old men & women singing out of tune
I do want to see some modern musical films but not like this.
