Wild Dog (2021)
Unofficial bad remake
The starting scenes of this movie are a cheap ripoffs from Batla House and the concept and many scenes are ripped off from India's most wanted and unlike it's predecessor this is highly illogical. The approach could've been different unlike the typical tollywood film involving action and predictable climax although totally unnecessary. The only thing that keeps you hooked to your seat is the background music and Nagarjuna's performance.
Khuda Haafiz (2020)
Action packed performance in a action drama movie
The entire cast was brilliant. Kudos to the casting directors. One of the highlight of this film being the acting part, the other being the direction. The direction has crafted it very beautifully and unlike Bhaagi 3 which had a similar atmosphere, this tends to be more logical and acceptable. Also the character of Vidyut Jammwal being that of a software engineer and hence reducing is action skills also shows commendable writing. The writers have decided to keep it more logical than to make it illogical just for the sake of entertainment. All in all this is a very good movie although some songs could've been avoided.
Special OPS (2020)
This will make your crave for more
The subplots enriches the storyline and you are forced to think and times and the BGM has been perfectly added to make it more thrilling. Can say with confidence that Neeraj Pandey is back with a bang. All the actors be it the lead ones or the supporting ones have done a great job and this a must watch for all especially the lovers of drama thriller.
House Arrest (2019)
A good timepass, but a direction less one
Basically a very short story has been expanded to make a movie. But the good part is that this movie is completely built on dialogues and communication between people and not melodrama type. So if you expect some huge plot twist, then definitely this movie is not for you.
Joker (2019)
A must watch, atleast to be Happy
Joaquin Phoenix has done a brilliant job in the movie and you get carried away with this character, his philosophy so much so that you think he is right everytime. That's when you have impressed as an actor. Was truly lucky to catch this one in the theatres.
Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019)
No fast and furious here
The main problem with this film is that it lacks fast and furious and looks more like an MCU movie. We will miss the other characters. Ryan Reynolds was funny though. Was expecting more.
Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019)
Must watch movie
Since it is a movie based on real life incidents, the script writers need not think too much. The actors have done their job to perfection but the cringy music at times slows down the pace of the movie. Otherwise it is awesome and you will feel proud of the Indian army even more.
The Haunting of Hill House (2018)
A little change in the usual horror plot
I will not call this a show as awesome since the whole show has actually a small story and has been presented in seven different perceptions, but the plus point is that even if the scenes are repeated they bring new freshness to us and it is presented in such a way as if we are seeing it for the first time. It is not creepy, it is for some extent but not that much. Even though it hasn't much of a story it yet makes us crave to want to know more about what happened that particular night. So for me it was something new in the horror genre and would surely love to see more horror movies or shows of such kind.
Westworld (2016)
Literally messes with your head
This series has seriously made me question my reality in this world or universe and when anything presented has such an impact on your life, then surely that presentation is at its best and hence undoubtedly Westworld is one of the best shows ever made.
Ghoul (2018)
A Chilling Experience
Sometimes it is not about scaring someone, but it is all about waiting till that moment arrives. Ghoul is one such element(a rare one) which scares us and simultaneously leaves us guessing as to what will happen. But surely they could have continued with the story adding some more elements instead of the age old revenge. In short, the story and acting was brilliant but it lacked a edge else it would have been the best Indian show.
The Meg (2018)
Too boring
Not a new script. Forced extra logic to be believed(which makes harder to believe), and unwanted twist in the story. Script could have been way better. They have gotta work on it.
Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran (2018)
Must watch
Too impressed to see an Indian movie with the application of logic at every point and nowhere the movie seems to lag behind either in its plot or it's acting, thus,a must watch film. It is the best thriller Indian movie(exception Baby)
Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)
Good and funny
Was eagerly waiting for this after Avengers Infinity war and certainly I didn't disappoint me. It had a good script written along with added humor making the film more comfortable to watch. Certainly one of the best of MCU.
Sanju (2018)
Classic masterpiece ignoring the fact
I don't know what actually happened in 90's but if we take it as just a film, this is an absolute masterclass from Hirani and all the actors who played part in this beautiful film. So rare to see such movies being made in India and we will love to see more of them.
Raazi (2018)
Too sloppy
With a good story in their hands, they spooked it with excessive drama and too much of emotional trauma affecting the so called climax. Film could have been way better.
