Wrath of Man (2021)

Vengeance italicized

I have to say I'm not a big fan of Action movies that has a lot of rinse, repeat where the antagonist now goes across the sea causing a slew of damage just because somebody didn't like the cut of his jib or he was cut-off on the freeway. This storyline is impeccable where it highlights the loss of a loved one and the path that the antagonist now has to take for the sake of vengeance. Why must the killers of the antagonist's son live a happy life when he lost his world? This is what Jason Statham will do in a ceremonially, seeking revenge in a soul-satisfying fashion.

Fear the Walking Dead (2015–2023)

Single handedly carrying the post-apoc zombie genre
1 May 2021
Let the haters hate. I admire the captivity of the post-apocalyptic world that TWD has set. Most of us were lost after season 7 when TWD had turned into this melodramatic soap opera. Come on guys... But I am glad that Fear TWD kept me down as a fan of the walking dead saga. Nick, Strand, Alycia are such fine actors and they shun in this show. Thankfully they played their characters with such conscience and meticulousness that it shows in their performances. So convincing, so believable and yet flawed at the same time. I just love the crew that they have built up now in season 5 and beyond. I will not name any names but thanks to everyone from the cast, crew, writing, art direction and the effects. Please keep it up. You have saved TWD saga and while that show has lost its charm due to dragging out stories and unnecessary side characters that didne possess an ounce of personality. You guys have kept it different, kept it fresh and impactful. I salute you all for your hard work.

Coolie No. 1 (2020)

Haters gonna hate...
27 December 2020
Everybody jumping on the bandwagon to demote the movie saying its garbage and whatnot... I enjoyed it, so did my family and I never once had an awkward moment with my parents. Its a family comedy movie. It has some nostalgic moments from the original Coolie No. 1 and I really like the over-the-top acting. Comedy is just light hearted comedy. Paresh Rawal and the ensemble additional cast come out on top for me. Sara Ali Khan can't act so God help her. But relax guys, live a little and if you can't stand the movie. Then move on. For anybody who is looking for a laugh- you will find it here. Get out of your depression folks and laugh!

Great entertainment the Bollywood way!

To all the people who are hating on this movie. Get off your high horse and embrace the simpleness and openness of Indian Cinema. This movie caters to a family oriented drama of two small town oriented middle class families. It has the recipe for everything that you would expect from a movie of its caliber. Great acting by Athiya in her first ever impactful role. I trust that she will yearn to perform and surprise all of us in roles like these in the future that showcase her talent. People fail to realize that while Nawazuddin is a co-lead in the movie, the brunt of the legwork is performed by Athiya and the script has beautifully played out to be in her favor up until the end of the movie but there is a plot twist. It's not anti-climactic and intertwines the emotional highs and lows that a couple goes through. I loved it!

Great Love story!
14 December 2016
Please disregard political idiots on this forum. I really don't watch a lot of Bollywood movies as the majority of them are pathetic and unrealistic. Yet this is one movie that stands out from the crowd, much like the great movies of Yash Raj enterprise - KKHH, Mohabbatein, etc.

Karan Johar brings that same heart warming feel to his movie reminding you of why you love the person you are with or miss somebody. It is really hard to invoke such feelings but personally, Karan has hit all the right chords of our hearts. I admire this movie and overall there is a sadness and regret lingering after watching this movie, it is after all about Love. Love brings you joy, happiness, pain and sometimes all at once.

The characters are really delivered meticulously by their performers - all of them. Whether it was Ranbir or the ever elegant endless beauty Aishwarya, the bubbly Anushka or the heartthrob Fawad - they were outstanding in their roles. It is very admirable as well how Karan Johar brings the same delight about romance from yesteryear movies, the ones I watched growing up yet putting a modern twist on it with which you can relate to after 15 years later.

I plead you all to watch this excellent movie, my vote for this 2016's best movie of the year may be this or the upcoming Dangal.
