The Imitation Game (2014)
Sometimes it's the people no one imagines anything of who do the things that no one can imagine
This movie touches every heart string you got, it makes you cry and laugh with awesome performances by the leads Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley the supporting cast is amazing as well, i mean the casting for this movie was excellent. The score is wonderful, the story and the way it is told is downright on point to make you feel every line of dialogue. The whole movies prepares you to have a trip of feels at the end of the movie with awesome quotes of dialogue NOW YOU GET TO JUDGE WHAT AMI? In my opinion it was a flawless execution i was totally immerse in that world. I loved this movie with Whiplash and the Theory of everything were the best movies of the year.
Hell or High Water (2016)
Not my kind of Movie
I always judge a film by the story and how it is told to the audience. I really like intense stories, this is NOT one of them. The pace is lacking all over the place, the score keeps the story stuck in first gear, the dialogue lacks depth, the comedic relief is tasteless with only racial slurs fired to the native American character, the dynamic between the brothers is not realistic i mean if i had o take care of my mother alone because my brother is a pure 100% delinquent and half witted i wouldn't even talk to him. The only thing i must rescue is the story, on paper is a good one but the way it is told keeps me out from entering the narrative.
Luke Cage (2016)
Marvel got Caged
Pros: POP and Mahershala Ali. Damn this man can act his presence is always strong i really liked his character although he has some trouble keeping his priorities straight. The first episodes all he cares about is the money, but when he goes broke he doesn't sell his club because out of nowhere he cares about it although the previous owner treated him like sh**t making him kill the only person who had his back as a child. (The way he is introduced with biggie's crown was absolutely brilliant)
Cons: Diamondback, he kills the season. Super bullets???. Luke Cage being able to live like 24+ hours with two bullets in him. Shades, the only thing he does is taking off and putting on you guessed it his shades. He acts like he is a hot shot i thought he had some special ability, NO he hasn't, weak ass character. Mariah a wannabe black female Underwood????. Little screen time for Romero from Mr Robot.
Don't waste your time on this, go see Mr Robot instead.
SAS: Who Dares Wins (2015)
If we ever see you again come and tap us on the shoulder and have a beer with us
What an epic phrase from an epic leader to summarize what this whole journey has been about. All that suffering the recruits had to endure only to get to that final moment of recognition from the "coaches" that they stopped treating them like recruits and recognize them as peers, wonderful moment to end the season. It is an easy show to watch there are only 5 episodes full of different characters and personalities. At first you think that all those trials are just madness but when the "coaches"start talking about their experiences you start to see there is a reason to that madness. In my opinion it is an awesome reality show there's nothing that compares to it, it is a must watch.
