Too dark
9 June 2023
Be prepared to stare at a black screen trying to figure out what's going on, that is why I gave a six rating. Action scenes were probably good, but they were diminished by the fact that you could not see what was happening. The storyline has appropriate twists and turns making one not want to turn off the movie. Allison Janney very believable in her role, great actress here. Logan Marshall-Green plays a pretty sick bad guy really well. This is the first time I have ever seen Jurnee, she was excellent, would like to see more of her. Actress playing Vee will go far in her career, keep up the great work.

ok for the entire family

Warning: Spoilers
Predictable story-line, beautiful autumn colors & decorations, nice plot-twist at the end with the photograph.

Chad Michael Murray character was too arrogant for me to get attached, or to care if he ended up with Jessica Lowndes character. Sad, I usually like his movies.

Jessica Lowndes was lovely in this movie, so pretty and natural now that they've toned-down her make-up (only "the tour/dance" scene made her look too staged with that gross red lipstick, those racoon-eyes, too much eyeliner and hooker eyeshadow ... it's a small town, where was she dressing up to go?). I did not see her 90210 Remake, so I have no comparison like the other reviewer.

I did notice the car window down when she left her car in the ditch overnight - was shouting at the screen to close her window and lock her doors. Also, noticed her attire in the car-in-ditch scene, why do producers always put the females in high-heels and fur-coat to take a long-distance ride ... who does that in real life?

The show I watched was labelled "An Autumn Romance" not "Colors of Love" ... not sure when/why the name change.

All in all, it was a movie that can be watched by the entire family with no controversial sex or language scenes. Was good to see the addition of multi-racial family dynamics, would like to see more of this in both Hallmark and GAC movies.

Lowndes needs a haircut - Jordan still fantastic
7 March 2021
Love Jeremy Jordan. Jessica Lowndes needs a haircut, seriously, that long hair is so unappealing for her age and her face-shape (and stop pulling her hair off her face, it just highlights the gaukiness). Their chemistry was okay, but I just couldn't get past the full-facial scenes, close-ups, not attractive filming. The storyline was refreshing and the LGBT storyline was tastefully written (while a bit stereotypical). Would like to see more of Lowndes (but less of her thin face). Jordan showcased his acting talent in this one .. great job.
