It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Frank vs. Russia (2023)
Kachow!
A perfect Sunny episode. First, let's review the scenes that made me laugh;
The funniest scene I think was the scene where Frank was playing against a kid with charlie standing next to himi openly talking to his talkie and buzzer in his pocket buzzing loud as hell and they do absolutely nothing to cover things up. It reminded me of another scene I really liked where Charlie was in Mac and Dennis's house and he was talking with Frank on his talkie and he would say stuff like "roger that" and Frank's voice was so loud you were kinda able to hear him through Charlie's earphones. That was hilarious to me and that chess scene felt like an improved version of that, not trying to cover up a plan that should've been secret.
I also liked that they can joke about gay people again, mac's plot was good in this episode it didn't feel weird but I do think, just like in the first episode of the season, they make mac look extra stupid for some reason, he wasn't always like that idk why they changed him so much he almost feels like a different character at this point.
Something I didn't like much was the SINNED scene, it was pretty funny but I think it was kinda unrelated to the whole episode and they gave it a little too much time. Instead of that scene we could've watch how they drugged Frank and did the operation.
So other than couple of small details, episode was fire. A must-watch!
Tin & Tina (2023)
unnerving
God I was so frustrated throughout the whole movie. The parents act incredibly stupid, there is definetly some bad writing at times. Like I would send those kids back to manastory the moment they messed up the kitchen let alone killing my dog and murdering kids from school and stuff.
The whole thing was kinda annoying tbh I was so worried they would do something to baby and I was extremly sad for the mother. Neverthless, I kinda liked the ending, every action the children did is open-ended; like we are not sure if they actually killed the kid or not, we are not sure if they were arsoning the hosue in the end etc. I liked that idea.
Plus acting and atmosphere was pretty good, good job from the kids. They were geniunly creepy, I couldn't predict what would they do next and they kept me on the edge of the seat the whole time. Overall enjoyable thriller.
Old (2021)
Mixed feelings
I'm not so sure if I like this movie or not. I love mysteries, Lost is one of my all-time favorite series, this movie clearly took a lot of influence of it.
Let's start with what I don't like; this movie feels goofy because of the dialog writing and camera angles. It geniunly made me laugh a few times like that time the mad doctor was running with the camera recording like it's on top of his belly. And it had lots of plot holes like we have a team of biologists with billions of budget and they are aware that people can escape using the corals and in fact one of them did escape succesfully before yet they are unable to clean up a small bay from corals? And it feels like people didn't quite freak out and tried their best to escape from there, like I think they would straight out try climbing and swimming their way out the moment they figured out they only have about a day and like the psychiratist's swimming noodle idea was quite good and they completely ignored it. And omg the scene where the mad doctor is stabbing the main couple and they just stay there doing nothing getting stabbed a few times in confussion I was like omg man what am I watching : D
Whatever, what I liked about the movie is the idea is definitely good, and I like the overall plot. This is also quite uncomfortable and creepy like the scene whit the calsium lady in the cave gave me chills it was quite good. And... that's about it I guess. I gave it a 6 when starting to write down this review but now ima gonna drop it to a 5. It wasn't boring or anything but there's just so much wrong about it.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: The Gang Gets Cursed (2023)
Boys are back in town!
Classic Sunny right there. Many good laughs, clever ending, callbacks to older episodes, it has it all.
They opened up with the classic opposite of what they say title card which is something I love. They went pretty extreme on this epsiode, Dennis kinda confirming he murdered maureen, gang hiding dead animals around the bar, Mac lying about his dying son, the gang burying Maureen in a pet cemetry... It all just felt right. They totaly nailed this one. Only thing I would add is something horrible hapening to Cricket, he somehow got away safely on this episode.
Overall I liked this episode much more than the first 2. I hope they keep bringing it on for the upcoming ones.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Frank Shoots Every Member of the Gang (2023)
An avarage Sunny episode
This one was way funnier than the first episode. A lot better I would say. There were plenty of good puns and it was much more fullfilled.
Let's start with the title, the title alone was enough to make me laugh but I kinda hyped up too much and was expecting something a little more extreme. Whatever this episode still delivered well.
Frank believing without a doubt that Dennis and Dee would finally murder him was so funny. The fact that every member of Mac's family is homosexual is a nice touch. Kelly's weird teeth tradition was pretty funny but kinda extreme. It was a little grusome when mrs Kelly pulled her teeth out I didn't like that scene but other than that, this episode doesn't have much errors to talk about.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: The Gang Inflates (2023)
Decennt opener
There were a few good puns but overall I think this wasn't a great opener. In the intro how Frank fooled Mac and Dennis that a buck is worth 25 cents like that was kinda out of character for them that was Patrick level stupidity even Charlie wouldn't trade 10 bucks for 5.
The bedroom and toilet reveal was nice but felt like they could've done more with that. And I found Charlie glueing a pillow to the wall for Dee pretty funny and kinda wholesome. They kinda overdid the Mac's alergie joke. The ending was pretty good, always like to see Charlie ending up outsmarting the gang. Below the avarage for Sunny but not a bad episode in any way.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Mac Finds His Pride (2018)
Weak ending for a weak season
I'm okay with the idea of Mac openning up to his father, it actually sounds like a good idea for an episode. I can think of many funny stuff that can come out of the idea Mac trying to open up to his dad about his sexuality and his father just not getting it. These guys could have made this a funny show involving other members of the gang where everyone just screwing up their job and stuff, instead of this really good dance performance. It is really good btw and it shouldn't be that way, it should be funny. I know this could've easily turn into something that's actually fun but for some reason they are just afraid of making it. I kinda get them tho, if this idea would came into their minds in 2000s, they would probably make something funny without being afraid of offending people, like the way they did for years. Anyway, this just doesn't feel like Sunny to me.
King of the Hill: How to Fire a Rifle Without Really Trying (1997)
One of my favorites so far
Omg I laughed so hard at the McDonnel airliner thing, it came out of nowhere. This show is a true comedic gem. This epsiode showed us a hearth-warming father and son story which made me love the characters even more and also made me laugh hard. One of my favorite episodes so far, enjoyed every second.
How I Met Your Mother: Last Forever: Part Two (2014)
Good idea but it's rushed
I really liked the idea of Ted ending up with Robin but i think this should've been told with a season not an episode. Season 9 should be 2 episodes of Barney and Robin's wedding, then it should've built up their divorce for a few episodes, then we need some drama about Tracy's illness. And in the final when we get that last scene i think people wouldn't be so angry.
