Memory (2022)
Good idea, badly executed.
It's a movie with a "strong" opening, very interesting plot ideas, good acting from Neeson and Pearce. It builds up nicely for about 27 minutes, then it starts to decline rapidly. The screenplay seems written by an AI that has the same medical condition as the main character; it's messy, incoherent. Full of holes and disinterested performances from the entire support cast. I sat knowing what to expect from the director of one of the biggest disappointments that ever played on the big screen, Green Lantern. I still enjoy watching Liam Neeson, but he is becoming more and more like Bruce Willis, taking roles for the sake of a paycheck. I really hope someone offers Liam a role akin to Schindler's List, Michael Collins or The Gray. Not worth the ticket price, it could've been launched straight to bluray.
Gemini Man (2019)
Not even Will Smith could save this one
The dialogue is extremely weak, the acting is just ok, the action scenes are a comatose John Wick ripp-off, Mary Elizabeth Wistead is gorgeous and Will Smith is a guy who can make almost any movie work. David Benioff should stick to adapting other people's work , because when he writes something "original" is just awful.
