The Flash (2014)
Barely an 8
First two seasons: AMAZING
Seasons 3 and 4: really good!
Seasons 5 and 6: alright
Seasons 7, 8, 9: crappiest seasons ever!
They totally ruined Barry. They definitely screwed him over as the main character because they made him not the main character on his own show!!! They made him too reliant on others and making too much mistakes when it should've been the other way around!!!!! It's HIS show for pete sake!!!!! He shouldn't be the one to always get pep talks, he should be giving them!!!! And plus he's a grown man!!! So he should be able to do it on his own!!!!! They completely wasted Grant. They took too much time and effort on the other characters, which is one of the reasons why the last 3 seasons sucked BIG time. And then they also wasted two amazing villains: Bloodwork and Deathstorm. Those two would have been AMAZING if they made them at least the main villain for half a season because of how great they were in those few episodes they were in. Would be better for them to do a whole season for both but a half season would've still been awesome. And then they completely ruined Godspeed. They made him one of the worst villains ever. He was so lame. He was supposed to be one of the scariest villains of The Flash, but they decided to make him weak and dumb. Especially since he was the main villain for only 3 episodes, which is the worst and the most stupidest thing ever. I hate the writers for seasons 7-9, they were the worst. The only shows those 3 seasons beat were She-Hulk and Velma, which doesn't say much. It was SSSOOOOO agonizing and painful having to finish those last 3 seasons for Grant and Barry. And also a bit for Oliver/Stephen too for the last season.. That episode was really good with Oliver though, especially since it had Bloodwork in it too.. But I do kind of agree with them kind of rushing the final episode of the series, because they should've had Zoom, Savitar, Reverse Flash and even Godspeed harder to defeat instead of just one episode. So they should have had at least one or two more episodes to take those four down as with Cobalt Blue too. And what made it even worse, super worse, is that they didn't bring Cisco, Wally and Bart back for the very last episode. It just didn't make any sense for them not to bring those 3 back. And even though yes, the actor that played Cisco was busy, they still should've figured out a way to bring him back. And same with the other two if they were busy, I'm willing to bet they could've definitely figured something out if the writers and actors really wanted to, even if those three were there for a minute or two.. Also sad that they never brought back Julian Albert back either throughout the series, even for one episode. And it's a shame with what happened with Hartley Sawyer(Ralph) too, but I guess they did what they thought was best.. which was fine what they did, just really liked his character. Didn't really like how they had Joe get replaced and then retire either, but it wasn't horrible that they did that.. But one thing I did like about the series finale though is that they brought back Caitlin, which was a smart move. Even if we saw her a brief moment, I'm glad that they brought her back because Khione sucked. And very glad that they also brought back Matt Letscher as the Reverse Flash one more time in the last season, because that episode was really good too. But they still definitely tanked the last 3 seasons sadly. So because of that, this show barely deserves an 8. Which makes me really sad because of how well it started. It's a real shame for this show for how much it declined. But at least the first 4 seasons were good. Sorry if this review was everywhere.
Superman & Lois: Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (2023)
John Henry it's the only one that understands
John Henry is the only one that gets the threat, because now it seems Clark is switching sides sadly. But hopefully the next episode Clark won't waver about the threats. Because it doesn't matter if Peia dies from cancer(as mean as that seems) because people die every day from it. So the heroes shouldn't go easy on her or her husband because they are evil, they are murderers, they should not get off easy because of the cancer. And yes even though his daughter's boyfriend had no clue about his parents, John Henry did make the right call from removing him from his daughters life. At least until they figure out what to do with his parents, then John should let them get back together when they do because Matteo is a good kid, he just doesn't need to be in the middle of all of it more than he already is. Hopefully we'll see improvement in this season.
The Flash: Into the Still Force (2022)
WHY DO THEY KEEP DOING THIS TO BARRY??????
The writers never EVER give Barry good character development. He's been the same dude basically every since the first season. Every once in a while you see he's grown up, but most of the time they make him decide to do "bad decisions" And that he should've "listened to the other team members" etc... What kind of crap is that? BARRY IS THE TEAM LEAD. The writers must have short term memory loss or something. The TEAM should be going to HIM for answers not the other way around. And Joe is super annoying in this season, they should have kept him dead from Armageddon. Nah hahah I'm just kidding, but he seriously is the worst and being too much of a overbearing father to a grown man in this season and even a bit in the last season too. He used to be one of my favorites but he's babying a grown man who can make HIS OWN GOOD DECISIONS.
I'm only giving this episode a 6 because of the still force because it was pretty cool idea and what it was, but it barely deserves a 6. It would deserve no more than a 4 otherwise. I'm pushing through this season to watch the final season, but man it's agonizing. But luckily it is SO MUCH BETTER than the previous season with the trash Forces or whatever they're called and the Godspeed they totally wasted. Much better. But still hate the writers more than anything. It's too bad the writers haven't learned from the fans who've been complaining about this forever. And from what it seems like they never will😔 poor Barry. And poor Grant. They wasted both.
The Boys (2019)
Season finales
The only reason why I'm giving it a 3.5-3.75 about is because of the season finales of each three seasons (especially season 2). Otherwise I would give it a half a star review for these reasons: there's no character development whatsoever, totally lame and weak writing, and even worse fighting scenes. There's hardly any fighting scenes and whenever there is it ends fast. Butcher is the worst character, nothing good about him. I only watched it for Hughie and Annie but in season 3 Hughie became one of the worst until the very end. Another reason is because Jensen Ackles was in season 3, but his character wasn't the greatest even as a bad guy. And if course everybody can agree Homelander is the worst too (but surprisingly not that bad of a bad guy, especially the second and third seasons).
