Alita: Battle Angel (2019)
A 2 hours preparation
Nice universe, colors, effects. The story has some potential.
The execution was not that good. It's like a *very* long preparation. It is as if karate kid was 2 hours "wax on wax off", without the final fight!
It builds up to completely nothing.
Locke & Key (2020)
So much potential, but so stupid characters
I had low expectations, but from the first episode it got me. It built the story very well, with some puzzles and mysteries, and it brought expectations more and more. Until around the last three episodes: so, so much stupidity that it made the whole series go bad. Actions were completely unreasonable to the point that watching was barely possible. Last episode was terrible.

Mortal Engines (2018)
What is this
Is it steampunk? Is it sci-fi? Comedy? Drama?
The movie is a spaghetti soup of everything, resulting in a whole bunch of nothing. Characters are flat, obvious and useless. As the whole story, with big holes and big "wtf?"
I eventually felt asleep in the end. 4 stars because I liked the picture.
Arrow: Schism (2016)
Awfully obvious and repetitive
This last episode was the perfect summary of the this Season 4.
The episode's structure was identical to all other's ones. Always the same dialogues, always the same expressions, always the same fights.
The end was exactly as anyone would have imagined. It looks like they didn't even try to surprise the audience.
I did hope that at least the last episode would have been something more, something that would not make me ask "why am I watching this?" like all other episodes, but I was totally wrong.
Let's see the positive side. There are no cliffhangers, I have no interest in watching the season 5, so next year I will use this time for something that is not so banal and poor written.
The Flash: Versus Zoom (2016)
I feel insulted by this episode
I had big hopes for this episode, but at the end I felt insulted. These are my points and be careful because they contain spoilers.
1. Before opening for real the portal to the other universe, Cisco and company attempted a bunch of times to open it. All times Flash had not the suit on, so he had not the device that makes him fast enough to fight Zoom. How could they not think about it? What if the first times Cisco could open the portal for real and Zoom popped in? Would they just all die because Barry couldn't run fast enough? It was obvious, till the last time, that the attempts would fail.
2. Was it really necessary to open the portal and kill Zoom? He is sick to death, in a bunch of years he will die by himself. Was the waiting too long to worth the risk of opening the portal?
3. They captured Zoom. Was the talking a smart choice? Couldn't they sedate him first (with the same thing they sedated Reverse Flash in the first season)?
4. OK, they didn't think about it and Zoom escaped and took Willy. Why should have Barry given up his speed? Cisco could see the place, so he could have located him and Flash, now faster then Zoom, could have saved Willy. Let's say Cisco couldn't get a clear idea of the place, they invited him in Star Labs, he brought and gave them the hostage (really? Does this EVER Happen in a trade? It's a really stupid idea from the evil "not-so-smart" Zoom). Why the Flash, now the fastest man alive, would give up his speed? To respect the promise? Is it honorable to respect a trade with a villain crazy mad serial killer that probably will use his speed to kill and scare not one, but two Earth? What is this? Even if they have a plan, it makes no sense.
5. Why the parent trap non-sense? Flash is fast, Zoom is slow, Flash can catch Zoom without any trap.
6. Was it really necessary to put in an episode waited 2 weeks with the title "Vs. Zoom" to put some family drama thing (Willy moving in Joe's apartment) and the love story of the less interesting character of the story, Iris?
Z for Zachariah (2015)
Does the movie even start?
I have not read the book, so I had no idea what this movie was about. I just found it, and watching the trailer I thought it was a thriller. But no, it is absolutely not.
The movie seems to not start at all, I mean I have been waiting for something to happen for the entire movie, and when i saw credits at the end I was so deluded because I have wasted 90 minutes of my life for nothing at all.
Overall, the plot is too linear and there is no suspense, there aren't enough dialogs to understand how characters really are, and this bothers me. However, at least there is a plot.
I wouldn't recommend this movie.
