So many underlying issues left unsaid.
5 April 2019
I would like to know why some of the members of the community, who were so articulate and vocal about the LAPD and their lack of interest in this case, were not just as vocal towards some of the men we met in their own community, who clearly had associated and collaborated with Lonnie and treated vulnerable women like garbage. I feel the community where Lonnie lived should have taken some of the responsibility too. How can so many women go missing? What does that say about the community? What does this say about how these "friends" of Lonnie feel about the women in their community? It's not just police gross incompetence, it's members of a community that appeared to look the other way or ignore what was happening right under their own noses and not just about the murders either.

Critics - It is something new!
29 March 2019
How can anyone knock this film or say they have seen this type of film before? It's based on the recollections of Nick Vallelonga and Dr Don Shirley. If critics say they have seen this type of film before "nothing new" then maybe the film should get even more credit for bringing the lessor known activists to the fore. Less you walked a mile in their shoes. Each new story we hear about is something new. Let's not be so quick to dismiss this film as "nothing new"

This film creeps up on you in terms of how you feel about the characters in the beginning and how you feel about them at the end, which I believe was one of the missions in this film, a reminder to all of us that not everything in this film or in life, is simply black and white.

Whilst the film centers around the two main characters, you should take notice of the others, especially Dr Shirley's butler, fellow band members and take notice of how the film addresses the role of the police.

The writing, directing and acting is outstanding. This is something new, this is another story we have not heard before.

Before this film I had never heard of Dr Shirley nor Vallelonga and now I can't stop reading more about these incredible people, I feel educated.

Deserved to win best picture.

I must have been watching something else
11 March 2019
I have see some of the higher reviews and can only ask, were we watching the same film. Felt like the actors had just received their scripts for the first time. I found this film to be tedious. Lost me after the first 20 mins. Pretentious and not clever.

Witty with her,but much wittier without
18 October 2018
I can't say I missed Roseanne. To be honest, I hardly ever understood half of what she said due to her lack of annunciation and talking in muffles and whines. I think the writers did a great job with The Conners and I am still a firm fan.

Exceeded my expectations and far wittier than before. I look to many years of The Conners. Well done all

You will learn something new.

A talk show that spends more than five minutes with each guest. The problem I have with most talk shows is how little you find out about the actors/actresses. Most talk shows are fast paced and gives the interviewee scarcely time to breath.

I love Alec Baldwins approach, it's just Alec and his guest talking casually and at length and is not afraid to ask personal or uncomfortable questions. This show is Ideal for folks who really want to get to know the interviewee off screen as well as on screen.

You will learn something new.

Maybe could be retitled to desperate husbands
11 October 2018
The acting is only consistently good from James Roday and the dead dude, the dead dude doesn't have too many parts. No doubt, James Roday and the mystery surrounding the cause of suicide, is keeping me watching this series. Reminds me of desperate housewives, maybe could be retitled to desperate husbands. If you like middle class soaps, then this is for you. In a sentence, a good filler in while waiting to watch something else.

This is a TV show it's pure escapism - Stick with it
18 January 2018
This is a TV show, pure escapism so I would advise leaving your first aid knowledge outside the door and just enjoy this series as is. I watched the pilot and at the end was a bit unsure if I liked it or not. It has it's moments. You need to watch the second episode as it is starting to get into it's stride, by episode three, I was hooked. Expect the unexpected and enjoy this roller coaster of awe and special effects and make up is pretty darn good. The acting in the pilot was not the greatest but definitely improves with each episode. Stick with it, I believe it has potential to win an award.

Surpassed My Expectations
27 December 2017
This is possibly one of the best films I have ever seen in this genre. From the start to finish, I felt that there was some inaudible and invisible metronome setting the overall pace of the film, a consistent rhythm within many rhythms, if that makes sense. Everything about this film had perfect timing. Editing was seamless. Attention to detail was mind blowing, costumes outstanding. Special effects... whoa. Acting was flawless. I really can't find anything to criticize. To summarize in a sentence, first class family entertainment.
