Love Aaj Kal (2020)
A Weak Movie with Little Redeemable Value
Everything about this movie is quite awful, with the exception of the music and the Randeep Hooda. To be clear, these latter two do very little to elevate this film out of the dustbin it truly belongs in.
Watch this movie if you truly don't have anything nothing else to do this during this time of quarantine.

Stop Watching Midway
Reading some of the other reviews, I was astonished to see some 9- 10s being given to this movie. A score usually reserved for best work in cinema is being reserved for a film that has few defining moments. Yes, there are some good laughs, but the real kicker is the terrible story that gets introduced halfway through. SPOILERS NOW: At some point, the audience is treated to a suspicion that the uncle and aunt are actually TERRORISTS here in London for a bombing! Such a plot development completely ruined the film thus far, which was alright. Afterward we are treated to a preachy story about the son of the uncle and aunt who passed away in 9/11. Such an abrupt and sudden tone change does not suit a comedy film. The two protagonists spend the entire film trying to think of a plan to get rid of these unwanted guests and the best they can do is to abandon them at a coffee shop? Extremely lazy. The songs were okay, same with the acting. Nothing spectacular, but for a Paresh Rawal film, for which my expectations are usually much higher for, I was thoroughly disappointed.
