Rick and Morty: The Whirly Dirly Conspiracy (2017)
Season 3, Episode 5
10/10
Rick and Morty is finally back on track with an AMAZING episode!
21 August 2017
Warning: Spoilers
I was starting to question my faith in Rick and Morty over the past few weeks. The once clever and humorous Sci-Fi comedy had just turned into a dull sludge with it relying too much on graphic violence for its humour. But this episode took things back to basics and ended up feeling the closest to a Season 1 or 2 episode. The Jerry and Rick dynamic worked brilliantly and provided both laughs and drama. I love how the episode glances over big reveals such as Ricks cybernetic parts for more great character moments and jokes and the animation in Jerry's wormhole 'trip' was amazing. The B story was also handled very well. While coming off as annoying in episode 3, Beth finally seemed to be back to her old self which was nice. Overall i would highly recommend this episode. So far this is the best episode from Season 3 and i hope the show continues this level of quality for the rest of the season!

Adventure Time (2010–2018)
9/10
A very creative cartoon with a fun sense of humour.

Warning: Spoilers
Adventure Time is an amazing cartoon. Its animation style is beautiful, its environments are creative and it has great characters with some deep back story and history to them. It focuses on the adventures of the teenage boy Finn and his brother Jake the magical dog. Finn and Jake are both very interesting characters. Finn is the only normal human left on earth and was found abandoned as a child by Jakes parents who raised him up. Jake on the other hand is a talking dog who gained magical stretchy powers after rolling in a strange puddle. Just the description of the two main characters lets you know how inventive this show is. The show takes place in the Land of Ooo. Ooo is basically a post apocalyptic version of earth. The land is divided into many different kingdoms such as a candy kingdom, an ice kingdom, and many others. Each landscape is very well designed and inventive. The humour of the show is great. It basically just comes out of things characters say and events that happen in the show. Its a great series for people young and old and is well worth watching.

An awesome fun film with great acting and memorable violence
1 August 2015
I didn't see Kingsman in cinemas. I was at a store, saw it on sale and picked it up. I didn't expect to much, yeah it had Colin Firth and Samuel L Jackson on the cover but i still thought it would be a boring 007 knockoff. Boy was i wrong. This film is awesome! It had a cool plot, great action and an awesome cast. Seriously, i don't think that there was a weak cast member. All the performances were solid especially Taron Egerton as Eggsy. I went into the film expecting a film aimed at teen audiences but this film easily earns its R rating. There is one particular scene which depicted some extremely graphic violence. It caused controversy but it sort of acts as a statement that this film is not for kids. They handled the scene in a comedic way which at least makes it enjoyable to watch. Its scenes like this however, that make the film so memorable. I say definitely check it out. Its my movie of the year so far. Great entertainment!

American Dad! (2005– )
8/10
A highly enjoyable comedy series
1 August 2015
At first glance this show may look like a dodgy Family Guy copy but with different characters but it is far from that. American Dad focuses more on political humor and jokes that never fall flat. In a way it is Seth McFarlanes' Futurama. By this I mean its a show made by him that looks like his other show but has a completely different vibe. Fans of Family Guy constantly hate on this show because it has a different style of humour and tone. It still has curses, crude humor, violence and sexual references like Family Guy but focuses on making fun of political situations and current events. I say definitely check out American Dad if you want a nice satisfying half an hour of comedy. It is well worth watching.
