Faith, Hope & Love (2019)
Have Faith in this Movie
I was impressed with Peta's acting. She's good. I had trouble with the chemistry but the story is cute and worth watching.
It doesn't hide the religious message but the dancing is good enough that it doesn't over shadow.
The Ranch (2016)
Life On The Ranch
One of the best sitcoms to come around in a while. The writing, the characters. It was funny and sad.
The whole cast made it believable and you want to be invested in their lives.
Although Rooster's (Danny Masterson) exit was uneventful the following episodes had me in tears.
Again, one of the best sitcoms to come around in a while.
Family Reunion (2019)
Reuniting Some Familiar Faces
Cute show, although the overall idea doesn't feel new the stories within the episodes are pretty fresh. Good for an afternoon watch.
The characters still needed some work after the third episode and what is there seems stereotypical; small town folk, big city people.
But you can't go wrong when Loretta Devine is in the cast!
Girl Most Likely (2012)
Most Likely To Like It
I was going through Amazon and the names on the poster made me stop; Wiig, Bening, Criss, and Dillon. I thought I'd watch while I was working, background noise.
The first part of the movie was a bit predictable with a few fun surprises thrown in and it kept getting better.
Wiig has such a way with emotions. I never know if want to hold her and say 'it'll all be okay' or stand back and watch the train wreck!
It's an easy watch, with a cute story and well developed characters.
I think you'll are most likely going to like it.
AJ and the Queen (2020)
Hold On To Your Wig
When I heard the project was coming out I was excited to see it. Of course, it's not the first time we see drag queens on-screen but it was time for RuPaul to do it.
The story is a mix of original and tried & trusted ideas. Drag queen on a road trip with a conflicted travel companion gets caught up in adventures.
Predictable at times, funny and heartwarming at others, but entertaining all the way through.
I like it!!!
