Finding Home (2003)
The kind of movie we have all been waiting for...
One of the best aspects of Finding Home is that it is a fantastic movie because of the acting, the story line, the direction, the cinematography. It does not attempt to rely on swearing, violence, sex or predictability to appeal to the audience.
It feels almost epic at times and the viewer is drawn into the story because the "realness" of the characters and of the story is palpable long after the movie is over. After seeing Finding Home, I felt I knew the characters, which is a testament to the phenomenal cast, a well thought-out script and amazing direction by Lawrence Foldes.
If you like a fast-paced movie where the quality of the acting and character development comes second or third to action then this isn't the movie for you.
If you want a movie that draws you in, stuns you with beautiful visuals and leaves you feeling like you are better for the time and money spent at the theatre, then you will not be disappointed with Finding Home. Bravo!
