Modest but decent. The old flavor of fair western, sure, in sketch form but not so bad ( only pretty unrealistic and didactic ) for define it as real dissapointment.
For me, the option to see it was result of the presence of Kevin Sorbo in cast. I appreciated the presence of large themes, from the corupt sheriff to the single mother with a dark past, I appreciated the portrait of lonely revenger and, I admitt, I do not expected more.
So, difficult to recomand it ( if the nostalgia about old Hercules series is absent ) , unfair to be too critic about it.
In short, a simple story of justice, a pastor and his new beginning, his new family like in a kind of version of job story.

Maybe, more than the story itself, significant remains the performance of Sophie de furst as Ines. The young woman in complicated web of relation with her mother, maybe too protective and not the perfect person for her daughter, like each parent, and her two analysts , about one a form of addiction and affection seeming work more than well, in the other, the need to be free works from bad to worst , offering the suggestion than one of analysts is the analyst of the other analyst.
The freshness of story, including the humor represents one of great good point of this summer comedy . Not last, the fair dose of realism of situation, eccentric at first sight but serious when you are / know the young people.

A young man happy about his off days . Plans about this period , talk with driver, his friend, a phone call as source of tension.
And a delicate situation who can be fixed only by him - his mother, in a barn, armed with the gun of a neighbor, terorised by crows an a psychotic episode.
Dylan tries, with difficulty but determinated, to help her. And, finaly, he has succes but the price, the dark future, his delicat mental state are just enough for be more than preocupated about future, her situation, treatment and her autonomy.
A film as kick to reflection about mental health, family, responsability and metamorphose of a happy day.
