All of Us Are Dead (2022– )
9/10
Please tell me I did not just hear people in the reviews saying Happiness is better than this
28 January 2022
Happiness (2021) is also a Zombie Kdrama, except it's not. It focuses on the human aspect of survival in a way to try and present itself as unique. It tries to show us that humans are worse than zombies, except the writing is absolute garbage because the basis of each episode is a character making a dumb decision and then the two main protagonists having to fix that dumb decision. That is not how you create plot! That show falls into every zombie pitfall trope possible.

Now All os Us are dead on the other hand is amazing. If you want to see how cruel humans can actually be to one another, this is the show, especially after episode 3. Good cast of characters, great action, great plot, great sfx makeup and average cinematography. However if you're watching this show for film making techniques you've come to the wrong place.

Futmalls (2020)

Interesting series that has the potential to change Taiwan's television market
8 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I've been exploring international TV series since the start of quarantine. I've seen quite a few series from different regions of Asia and recently I've come across some shows from Taiwan. After seeing one of the supporting actresses in another show I decided to watch this as the plot also seemed interesting.

The show's overall concept is intriguing. The main plot point is about a website Futmalls, acronym for Future mall, that's used to purchase products from the future. With a length of eight episodes and a tale of three separate stories intertwined with the same characters, we see how these future products affect the people who purchase them and those around them. When rating a show I hold the standards to that of the region it was produced in. Kdramas for example have a pretty large international market which allows them to produce high quality series, having a very large budget and all. For this reason my expectations for the quality of Kdramas are normally quite high. Taiwanese cinema is a relatively smaller market and there's no series or films that really stand out on the global scale. So my expectations are gradually lower. However I think shows like Futmalls will start the uprising of a new wave of cinema in Taiwan.

I'll start with the strong points of the show. The acting is very good and the cast really sells their performance however this can sometimes be ruined by the bad writing and sloppy editing which I will get into later. The series is very psychological and doesn't give too much backstory until the end and I found the cast did an amazing job with their performance on endorsing characters who have gone through trauma. For example in story 3 Chien-Ho Wu does a stellar performance of playing an introverted scientist with little social life, he keeps the audience guessing whether he's the suspect or not until the very end. For the second story Phoebe Huang did an amazing job of playing a grieving mother, I personally think the second story was the best because of how well Cheng-Hen Chu (who played her husband) and Huang embraced their roles of parents dealing with loss. Considering the budget this show had, the special effects were really well done and it never seemed fake and it never took me out of the story, of all things to me it really increased the quality of the show. I applaud the VFX artists and special effects team. One of the strongest points of the show is how they don't present information to the audience and how they deliver characters' backstories at the right time.

On the other hand the weaker points of the show was the writing, editing and sound design. Although I did say the concept of Futmalls is interesting, the writing of certain episodes and character backgrounds has me conflicted. For example Eugenie Liu (who I consider to currently be a breakout actress from Taiwan) plays a therapist. However she seems to be self conscious about a scar on her face, it doesn't make sense that her literal job is to help others mental health when she herself seems so caught up about receiving a cut on her face that happened so long ago. Another thing this show falls victim to is plot holes. The whole idea of purchasing products from a website that appears and disappears is intriguing however we soon discover the products are delivered by people. When the police do arrest one of the deliverymen they do not follow up and ask where the products come from, rather they let the episode finish and we never see him again. The deliveryman is used as a weak link to conclude the second story. It would've been a lot more intriguing if the products had just appeared at each character's house with no other context. Making the delivery of products more mysterious was a huge miss by the writing team in my opinion. Other problems I found is how easily everyone seems to accept that products come from the future. The police have multiple people who have used the Futmalls site and the site is what fuels the whole plot of the show, but again there's no follow up or questioning them.

Now to me the editing was really inconsistent. Sometimes it propelled the show to new levels and other times it took it down a few notches. For example the scene where Phoebe Huang (the grieving mother in story 2) is seen chasing around her kid on the school grounds is a beautifully constructed sequence, but in the last episode when the two police brothers, played by Bryan Chang and Wei-Ji, are searching a dark building for the kidnapped Bai Yong Xin (played by Yu-Wei) they have their guns drawn and flashlights in one hand, but when they exit the building their flashlights suddenly disappear and they're holding their guns with both hands. Another thing I found to be quite problematic is during climax sequences for whatever reason the editors decide to lower the frames and so the scene plays out choppy, I don't know if this is an effect used in asian dramas, but to me it looked amateurish and did not in any way heighten the emotions of the scene.

The sound design is the weakest part of the series. To me the use of music was horrendous. It seemed like whoever was in charge of sound didn't know the basic rules of film and sound. Music is like sauce. It's there to make the main dish better, but if you put too little it's noticeable and if you put too much it becomes uneatable. In this case the dish was uneatable. It seemed like during every dramatic moment the wrong sauces were used, it was like someone searched up into youtube: "Dramatic cinema music" and then pasted it on the scene without ever listening to the track. Music is supposed to heighten what you already see on screen, however every time there was a scene with music in Futmalls it took me out of the story because of how badly it didn't fit and this was mainly during scenes of climax which made it worse.

Now the reason I pointed out so many cons is that I hope this can be fixed for season 2. The show has its fair share of corny moments, but it also delivers some tremendous moments of cinema. I know that if we compared this show to other shows in the west or Kdramas, it's not on the same level, however I hold my standards to each region separately and I was really impressed with a lot of aspects of Futmalls and what it was able to accomplish in just eight episodes. Unlike some Kdramas that drag on forever, Futmalls pacing seemed well constructed given how short the show was. I feel the cast did an incredible job with their characters and this show could potentially make way for the Taiwanese market to produce more interesting content on an even higher level and for this reason I rated it a 9 overall.

Mulan (2020)
2/10
Felt like I was watching a movie dubbed in english
7 September 2020
Straight off, the thing that ruins this movie completely is the writing. This is some of the worst writing I've ever seen in a cinema history, I hope the writers never pick up a pen again. The dialogue is so cringeworthy and just flat out embarrassing, at times I honestly thought I was watching a chinese film dubbed in english. As for the storyline, it's pure garbage. Everything you loved about the original Mulan, this film completely ignores; Mushu isn't in it, the cricket isn't in it, the three funny friends Mulan has aren't in it and most importantly Shang-Li isn't in it. The fighting scenes are so mediocre that it's sad to watch, I can't get over the fact that they had a 200 million dollar budget for this movie when the cgi in this looks like something from a 2000s chinese tv drama. There is absolutely nothing good about this movie, the only reason I'm giving this a 2 is because I had some good laughs on how bad the dialogue was. The new storyline is filled with so many plot holes that you just yell out WTF every 15 minutes, so many things make no sense, even the costumes look pretty bad at times. The lead actress shows no emotion at all, she has no idea how to act. Maybe Disney thought her status in China would make this movie more successful, but in that case they should've gotten a Chinese actress who can actually show facial expressions. I have a pretty good idea of why Disney decided to make this movie the way this is, it's clearly suppose to be catered towards Chinese audiences, but even all the cultural pride can't overshadow how bad of a movie this is. If you we're planning on boycotting this movie because of politics, you can now also boycott it for being a disgrace to cinema and writing. I'm here to warn you, there is absolutely no need to ever watch this movie unless you're trying to torture somebody.

Vagabond: Episode #1.16 (2019)
Season 1, Episode 16
10/10
Going to ride agaisnt the wave here
24 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This my first time ever watching a K drama, of course I've been told this isn't what most K dramas seem like. I think from the first 2 episode you can tell this is a very "Hollywoood" Korean series, while I do understand some people wanted closure for all the events that led to the plane crash, I do find it's odd people are upset with this episode considering they've been hinting about this from the start. From what I heard this was a horrible ending for a K drama, but as someone who's never seen any K dramas before, this type of ending is just a norm in Hollywood, considering how westernized this show seems, I wasn't upset or let down by it. This is of course just my opinion. I love the series as a whole, you can tell they had a pretty big budget, I've never seen this cast in anything else before, but the acting was amazing, cinematography was top notch and it was action packed. While series does fall victim to plot holes and pacing problems and maybe a bit too many twists, we mustn't forget this is just entertainment and I was entertained the whole ride. Hoping we'll get a season 2. I guess we'll find out.

Never watched asian dramas before, but this is a must watch!
14 April 2020
Honestly this is just hilarious. You'll get a good feel of what kind of humour it is in the first episode. So if it's not you type of comedy then you can drop it right away. I get why Netflix marketed this as a love drama, but this is more of a comedy than anything else. There's 6 episodes around 40 minutes each, it tells a the story of the daughter of a mafia leader wanting to work as a body guard for a famous actor because she's a huge fangirl that has a crush on him. You'll either love it or hate it. I don't think there's really an in between. There's quite a lot of cheesy moments in it, but I guess that's expected. I consider this a hidden gem on Netflix.

Karasuno's back baby!
19 January 2020
Man I've been waiting for this. It takes some getting used with the new animation style, but by the end of episode 2 you should be used to it. Music is as great as ever and the none of the characters have lost their magic. Excited to see what comes next

Bokuto makes this entertaining
19 January 2020
It's an OVA so you can't expect too much. Obviously there's a minor downgrade in animation. There's no storyline really, so don't expect to get immersed into Nekoma's team like you did for Karasuno. We do get to see a bit of back story from the Nekoma players. The best part is like I said in the title. Bokuto. Period.

Been a fan of Gambino forever but...
15 April 2019
So I'll start by saying the movie is enjoyable, but it has it's problematics. Biggest thing being Rihanna's character, she didn't really do anything in the film, and she just seemed so much like wasted potential, I thought she would sing at least once, but there was nothing. Secondly the major thing everyones been complaining about even the people who liked it. The movie was too short. It was too short to get attached to any of the character's, when watching Deni and Kofi on screen, I never saw them, I just saw Bino and Riri, the film is just too short to build anything up. The movie is also very guessable from the start. Now the positives of the film, The transitions of the songs were very well done, and they way they just randomly appeared was really unique, being a Bino fan it was super fun to sing along to. Then we got the aesthetic, which was super beautiful, I'm going to want a few screencaps for sure. Then of course the symbolism, lastly the Cinematography, Hiro Murai never fails to impress me, all the scenes looked beautiful. The biggest disappointment for me was not having any new Gambino music in the movie, but in all honesty if you haven't heard of Childish Gambino or don't know much about him, this might be a great chance for you to discover some of his other stuff, and you might even like the movie a lot more than me

Thanks for making my childhood a bit better
2 March 2019
I can't believe its been almost nine years since the first movie came out, time flies!!! This series will always have a special place in my heart, I remember watching the first one with my whole family, and I remember watching the second one too. Toothless and Hiccup have an amazing friendship. Although the movie was a bit cliché, it had its good parts, this was a beautiful sendoff to an amazing series although I do understand why some people may be upset. One thing that really stands out is the animations, its absolutely gorgeous, at some points so you can the reflection of characters in peoples eyes. Thanks for being a part of my childhood.

Anyone can wear the mask, but no one can rock it like Miles Morales
13 December 2018
I'm blown away, this movie is absolutely beautiful. The animation is stunning, the soundtrack is amazing and the dialogue and storyline is so heart-warming. The characters are memorable, they all bring their own emotions rubbing off on the audience, and the humor is right on, its daring and hilarious and doesn't seem forced like you might see in some of the MCU films. There's been 7 Spider-Man films in the last 16 years and this might be the best one yet, its pays its respect to the past films while driven on its own storyline adventure, being such a known character the movies still comes out as original. The cinematography and animation are gorgeous, definitely oscar worthy. I'd say this is one of the best superhero origins movies ever made. Then there's the numerous amount of easter eggs, be on the lookout for those. I can't say the movies underrated cause its be treated just as it should be, but if there's one thing that its underrated its the soundtrack, the funny thing is the soundtrack is the exact type of music Miles Morales would listen to, so I guess you could say there's a touch of realism. In the end all I can see is go see this movie for yourselves, the visual experience is amazing, its touching and serious, funny and witty, brings more emotion than some of the superhero movies you'll see today and best of all if your sick of superhero movies this is a complete different and fresh start of the genre. (Don't forget to wait till the end of the credits)

GOING TO NEED A THERAPIST NOW!!!
29 April 2018
So I'm not going to review infinity war into great detail, since as I'm writing this there's over 850 reviews, in a span of the movie being out for only 3 days, but I will say I'm a huge MARVEL fan. Bigger than you believe. The movie was near perfect. Probably ranked in my top 3 favorite comic book movies of all time. It was an emotional roller coaster, and it made me cry. And that's saying something since Logan didn't even make me cry. The visuals are amazing, The Black Order was amazing, one of the best part of the film. It's also crazy how much character development Thanos had in one film. The Russo brothers actually made me love him. And to conclude my review, I walked into the theater paying 20$ and walked out having to pay 300$ a week. If someone can send me Marvel's address and everything so I can bill them for my therapy sessions that would be great :) one more thing I would like everyone to stand 2 minutes in silence for our fallen cinematic universe; The DCEU, may they rest in peace.

300 million budget??? Disappointing. Nothing Unique at all.
18 November 2017
Where to begin. Honestly the plot is terrible, we've seen this story line to many times. I feel like nowadays all superhero movies have to be about saving the earth. The plot was very simple, there was noting special about it, it doesn't stand out at all.

The villain was also a big letdown, there absolutely nothing unique about Steppenwolf, I mean he could've been amazing, but he was just boring, his motif was the same as any over powered villain, he just doesn't bring out anything scary or amazing, he's just boring.

The one thing I did like where the references and the easter egg's, it gave me a little excitement that DC will have a brighter future for there next films. Being a fan of the comics I was really hoping that they would follow the Injustice story line, I mean that is one of the greatest story line's ever released and since they have all the rights to their characters it could be possible.

That's another thing. I feel like the character's were to rushed, there was no feeling, in the short time Justice Leagues was able to make impact for the characters backstories, but it just wasn't the same as Wonder Woman. I really felt like they should've released the solo films first. Because The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg just didn't really have any feelings for them. Justice League felt like a really rushed film only focusing on my making money. With a 300 million budget they definitely should've been capable of more.

It also just feels like a mirror of Marvel. DC fanboys always talk about how their universe is so much darker, but put it next to any Marvel movie and it will seem exactly the same. Some of the jokes seemed forced, never thought Zack was they type of guy into comedy, but speaking of Zack, it really didn't seem like his type of film. Apparently there was 5 hours of footage, but it most of it got cut. Of course to make it a film. You can see that from the trailer, there was a lot of scenes that weren't in there at all. WB really just needs the director to let his vision flow.

Overall the film can be enjoyable while watching, but after it's done and you've collected your thoughts you'll just think of it as a déja vu. It was pretty disappointing for me, because the film had potential. I know there's a lot of positive reviews, but if your going into the theater expecting another BvS or SS then you'll think the movie was amazing. Honestly all the 9-10 stars or 1-4 stars are a lie, its not complete trash, but it fails to deliver something to the fans and the wider audience, with that being said I feel like critics are a little harsh on DC.

The Defenders (2017)
8/10
That Daredevil season 1 feeling
18 August 2017
{If you haven't been keeping up with the other four shows there's a pretty good chance you won't understand whats going on. The main reason I say this is because all four Marvel/Netflix series lead to a certain point or end. And that end is The Defenders (Dark version of The Avengers).}

{So for those who haven't been keeping up with the show I'll sum up the plot in this short paragraph. Basically whats been happening is that there's a criminal organization know as The Hand who have been thought to be existing for centuries, what they are after is immortality and the key to that is (SPOILER): The Immortal Iron Fist. We get introduced to a new villain Alexandra and some of her friends who we've actually seen before. Alexandra who is the mastermind of this plan seeks immortality and nothing will stop her from getting it, oh except for four Her... Jessica Jones who's working on a case find clues to which lead her to so on so and Luke Cage who's fresh out of prison wants to go back to protecting Harlem, but then gets tangled up trying to protect a kid from some bad people (The Hand) and eventually discovers who and what The Hand is. Danny Rand who's been hunting and training to kill The Hand finally realized that his company had been doing business with them. And Daredevil who we all know for a long times has ties with The Hand goes after them because he follows Jessica Jones who he thought would been in danger if she kept digging for information about her case. And basically it so happens that} they discover something about The Hand all at the same time and meet up to have a big (Don't use the H word) team up.

1. For me I really found that the show took it's time to get to the point, but I honestly didn't mind that at all, I hate when stories just jump right into action, I really felt like the 2 episodes they used to set up each Defenders story was so that'd they cross paths was okay. They made it seem normal and casual and had the Vigilantes meet up in a natural way. Being a fan of Marvel and watching the four other shows watching the four of them collide paths was an amazing experience. I really loved how they also introduced the supporting characters from each show, it made the show feel a lot more alive knowing that a piece of story from Jessica, Danny, Luke, and Matt were in it, it really just made everything a lot more personal and fun to watch.

2. The one thing that had my amazed were the fight scenes. Hands down Marvel and Netflix have the best hallway fight scenes. I think the series was pretty action packed and suspenseful, taking turns at corners unexpectedly. Every time there was a fight scene you knew right away it would be good, the movement and how they transitioned to different fights a the same time made the show awesome to watch, but that was also thanks to the amazing soundtrack, like damn Marvel who ever you picked to create the theme for the intro to this series is amazing, when I was watching Luke Cage and Iron Fist I couldn't stand the Opening, but this time you guys did one hell of a job, I watched the opening to every episode, the sound mixing for this series is pretty incredible and unexpectedly good.

3. The emotions that are made throughout the characters are astonishing, almost giving you the feeling that you know these people personally. I loved the interactions with all the characters in this show, although some times it felt like they tried to force some of the supporting characters to interact with each other, it was still amusing to watch. My favorite Defender being Jessica Jones brings some amazing content to the show, Krysten's acting is absolutely incredible she definitely plays big part in the show, not because she's one of the main characters, but in my opinion because she pieces together the show so that it fits perfectly like a puzzle, Honestly if she wasn't in it, this would have just been plain out boring as hell.

4. If you have enjoyed other Marvel/Netflix shows then I most definitely promise you that you will enjoy this. It won't disappoint you in the way Iron Fist did, but you might be expecting a little more then it gives, but I'm sure they will present the rest of the story in season 2. As much as it unwraps I feel as if it could've been a little better and could've had a stronger story plot to go with, some of the characters like Alexandra (who is supposedly the villain) felt rushed with, her backstory seemed sloppy, but other then that, that's probably the only negative view I have for this series. Everything else I felt like Marvel nailed perfectly.

5. I love how this has violence and gore and isn't a series like Agents of Shield, this show just proves how serious and dark Marvel can be. And I'm actually impressed with what they did with Elektra in the show, she is easily becoming one of my favorite characters, I love her seriousness and brutality. In a way its almost soothing to have her in the series. Her badass level is insane, it isn't that Wonder Woman type more like The bride from Kill bill.

If you haven't been keeping up with the 4 other series, It might confusing to understand what exactly is going on, and if your a big Marvel fan you will probably love The Defenders. And other then that all I can say is experience there series for yourselves and I hope you like it.

Had potential, but wasted it on being family friendly 6/10
4 August 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Long story short, the Dark Tower, is a tower that protects the worlds from darkness, and the only way the dark tower can fall is using the mind of a kid and strapping them in this chair, and then they vibe off some sort of energy that hits the tower and basically there's the character Roland played by Idris Elba, and he's the last of these lost warriors who protected the tower, then there's Jake (who I'll talk about later) he's from earth and he's got physic powers, basically Jake has these nightmares and dreams of other worlds, and so the villain of the film known as the man in black played by Matthew McConaughey is trying destroy the tower, by abducting kid's from earth who have "special abilities". Also keep in mind everyone thinks Jake is crazy. Fast forward a bit, Jake and Roland meet up, and they travel across a world (Roland's World) trying to kill the man in black and save the tower. I'm sure you can guess the ending.

{Intro}. Honestly I had no expectations whatsoever entering the theater, I hadn't read the books, and was not at all keeping up with the early reviews coming in online, so my mind was cleared and didn't know what to expect after glimpsing parts of the advertisements I thought the movie looks okay, so I went into theaters only to be disappointed to be watching another Hollywood Déja Vu.

1. The film started off with full of surprises and suspense taking the audience to an unknown atmosphere putting them on the edge of their seats for around 15 seconds before the scene cuts to a Kid, (the kid, the gifted outcast, misfit, who has such amazing powers) But yet I didn't give up, I didn't know the whole story so I was let that little (big) cliché slide. Then we got introduced to Idris Elba's character after getting a better picture on Jake (who is the KID) anyways not deep into the film yet, the audience still trying to figure out the whole story on what exactly is happening here, if this is like a modern Lord of the Rings or just straight up The Dark Tower story ripped from the books. Which brings me to part 2.

2. Not having read the books, I do not know if this story is accurate to its Origin, after coming back from the of film I read some reviews to find a mix emotion of The Dark Tower saying it stayed true to the novels, some people loved it and some hated it. Two sides, always two sides. I'm going to be straight up honest, this was one of the most modern clichés I've ever watched it my life, I mean the whole multiple earth and friends who now have turned into enemies who are trying to destroy each other was unbearable to watch it was like reliving some of the worst movie moments in your life. I found Jake to be very close to Harry Potter at some points in the film, people will argue that there was no connection between the two whatsoever but in this split second of the movie I really felt like this Kid was just a big knockoff version of Harry. Then we have the friendship gone to enemies problem, a story which all of us have seen to many times to admit, honestly the only thing that made this The Dark Tower's friendship and enemy scenario bearable to sit through was Idris Elba, I mean for real, that was the only reason I gave this movie such a high rating, It deserves so much lower, but Idris was the only thing keeping this pile of rubble from crumbling down. Which gets us to our third point.

3. I really felt a the beginning that this movie very much potential to grow into a ongoing series like the comic book adaptions, but it failed so terribly. When they introduced the villain I was thinking on leaving the theater, I mean Matthew McConaughey is a great actor no question, but there was nothing unique about his character at all. Absolutely nothing, he was just like taking all the bad parts of what makes a great villain and them putting them into a blender to make the Man in Black (who if you haven't caught already, is the villain of the film) and seriously The Man in Black how much more cheesier can you get. For me it really felt like the director thought the whole audience watching were kids, I would've liked it more if they added a little bit of violence to spice things up.

4. Lastly, the scenario, it hurts me to even talk about it. Destroy a tower that keeps all darkness away from the worlds in this "realm" really Hollywood you couldn't have the thought of a better way to approach that Plot, Oh my bad I forgot you guys just released the emoji movie, so there's no way that could be possible.

Anyways that brings an end to my review, hope you liked it, if you didn't I couldn't care less, I you did then click YES button. And if you are a fan of the books, I'd encourage you to see it and hear your take on how Hollywood tackled this adaption.

Spectacularly funny and definitely above your average superhero movie
6 July 2017
The movie straight out blew my breath away, yes I'll admit my expectation weren't high, with the 5 other average Spider-man films that came before this, I wasn't expecting anything different then interactions with the avengers.

(1). Let me first start off with the beginning of the film. I think the reason that this movie was so amazing was that the fact that a lot of young teenagers could relate to being Peter Parker, the writers made an excellent choice of choosing a young Peter, this made the movie so much easier to relate to, they showed real social problems concerning the lives of high schoolers at the same time making it a little more dramatic and adding humour which probably made this movie one of the best superhero movies I've ever seen, and let me tell that I've seen almost every single live action superhero adaption ever.

(2). Second off was the fact that this wasn't one of the (whole world is ending, lets save it) clichés. In my personal opinion I'm tired and sick of these because they are getting way to unbearable to watch. Which Batman V Superman showed us. Anyways I loved how they kept the movie realistic ( I know I sound so Ironic right now ) in Peter having his limits of being Spider-man, they kept real as in Peter had to worry about being a student while at the same time protecting his neighborhood, and at the same time his hero level.

(3). Third off the best part of the movie was the Humour. This wasn't little kids funny jokes humour, like I said before the writers made the movie easy to relate to for students, so the jokes were definitely above little kids humour, Id say around Community kind, which is the best. The jokes weren't lame like in The amazing Spider-man so I don't know a great to explain the jokes and the type of humour is the review so all I can say is go watch the movie yourself. I assure you will not be disappointed.

(4). Fourthly and lastly Thank you SONY for giving my favorite superhero back to the rightful owners and not trying to screw it up, by making a third reboot with your company only. One of the big differences from the Tobey Maguire Spider-man movies was that it didn't revolve around LOVE the whole time. That was the one thing I couldn't bear, yes I think that romance definitely plays a big role in all movies, but the ones with Maguire only revolved around that, so I just couldn't put up with them. Anyways Homecoming keeps all the action, humour and romance balanced which is all thanks to Jon Watts I truly believe they picked the right director for the 3rd reboot of the Spider-man film. He was able to balance everything so that they fit in perfectly with everything else, like a jigsaw puzzle. I'm not even going to start with Andrew Garfield, I mean they should've stopped after the first movies.

Anyways I highly recommend that you watch this in theaters because it just makes the experience so much better.

Honestly for me this is one of the best superhero movies that's ever came out, I believe that MARVEL can now go for with Spider-man and not to mention the amazing acting from Tom Holland he nailed his role perfectly that all I can say

Anyways stop reading this and go watch it if you haven't already.

Atlanta (2016–2022)
10/10
A Wonderful, Creative, Funny and Smart Masterpiece
15 November 2016
Wow, just wow. This was one of the most amazing TV shows i've ever seen. Just the way it's written and the acting is absolutely top class. The show gives you this amazing vibe you just wish you could hold on to. And when your finished the whole season if leaves you wondering what you'll do now with your life . The characters were very well developed, and the idea was amazing.

There are 10 episodes in the season, which are all around 25 minutes, so it's very short but each episode tells a very unique story. The first episode blew my mind away, it was like a scrambled riddle that you've been spending years trying to figure out only to realize that the answer has been right in front of you the whole time.

One of the main reasons I love this show is because of the characters, each one brings something to the screen, without them it would be like missing a piece of your life. Together they construct this group that no other show has ever shown me.

I'd love to thank the writer of Atlanta, cause you really just blew my mind away. You guys created your own world in your own way, but I got to admit after watching episode 7; B.A.N, I was really confused, I thought maybe I was high, but I realized that it was the creativity of Donald Glover/Childish Gambino (my favorite rapper of this century). I mean that guy is so freaking talented.

This isn't a show about getting to the top of the rap game, even though that's what the trailer led me to believe. It's a very creative smart funny humorous series that your wishing it was your first time watching it again.

Also I'm the 7000 person to rate this on IMDb :)

Lack of action, but overall enjoyable
8 November 2016
-The Storyline is point on, but I found that there wasn't as much action as I hoped.

-There was dull humour, with a few jokes cracked, but it was all mixed into make a nice relaxing movies that you could enjoy.

-The characters were very well developed and you can tell that there's going to be a 2nd film.

-Even though Henry Cavill is mostly known for Superman I thought that (wow) this actor is really talented and is going to be known through out Hollywood if he keeps up what he's doing.

-The suspense he brought to the movie was great, I wouldn't have cast anyone else

-Hopefully the villain won't be as boring next time

-The ending was way to typical.

Jessica Jones (2015–2019)

Better then Daredevil
3 November 2016
After watching season 1 and 2 of Daredevil I didn't think anything could beat the action packed vigilante show. The first season of DD was definitely off to a slow start but then slowly picked up pace, and had a nice finish for season 2. So I decided to watch Jessica Jones since I was dying for a season 3 of DD. I watched the first episode and I was actually pretty impressed. Im a huge marvel fan, I didn't know much about JJ, the only thing i did know was that she had super strength and that she was the wife of Luke Cage. After watching the 1st episode I was attached to the show, I finished the whole season in a week. Holy Sh*t it was amazing. There was so much action and I was so attached to the charters, the acting is amazing, I'd recommend this show to anyone who loves marvel. I think there was just something about the way the show was written that made it so great. This is definitely one of those (late night fridays after a hard week of work) shows to watch.

Suicide Squad (2016)

Harley Quinn is hot, but the movies not
3 November 2016
After watching BVS, I was really hoping this would be the game winner for the DCEU, but again another let down. The movie was off to a good start and then the way they introduced all the characters was such a mess, that I was already losing hope before the fight actually started. The thing with the DCEU is that there's no storyline it's only focused on action. The whole movie was basically someone taking DC's most popular characters and putting them in a boxing ring to fight the great evil. And DC fans wonder why marvel does so well, it's that they actually have a story and humour. Most of Suicide Squad was centred around Deadshot (Will Smith), like yes your the most popular actor in the cast put the fact that it was mainly about him was so boring. And the you have Enchantress (Cara Delevingne) a model who can't act at all. She was dancing in the movie!!. You call that a villain are you serious??. DCEU take notes from marvel. Anyways the last main Character was Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) The main reason why half the crowd went to go SS. Horny fanboys. I was so disappointed.
