Augusta, Gone (2006)
Good Meaning, but not very clear
I loved this movie. It had such a powerful meaning. I fell into the drug scene a few years ago and though I only was stuck in it a year, I did almost, if not all drugs availible to anyone these days. It took ending up in the hospital after trying to commit suicide to help me get my life turned around. The only bit I didn't like in this movie is how you don't really understand what exactly is going on and how it happened. I got really confused in the shower scene when her Mom called the doctor about Augusta shivering and all that. It seemed like the first hour didn't make any sense... And then when she went to the camp I didn't understand the whole hiking scenes. I mean... Yeah it's a 6 Week Camp and all, but when did they take showers? I mean... Surely they took showers in the six weeks? All in all though, this movie was very good. I loved the end how the family walked by the real mother and Daughter, that was creative.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)
One of the best films I have seen in a long time!
I just got back from seeing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at a drive in Movie Theater. The entire movie was everything I anticipated it would be and more. Tim Burton puts a slight dark twist, but still manages to keep it to the storyline and to wow audiences of every age! The Chocolate room was magnificent! It was tasteful to your eyes. The cast was a perfect fit and the music was wonderful. I may be a little bias about it(since I live in Denver,CO-One of the lucky golden ticket winners was a resident of Denver, LOL). It warmed my heart from the beginning right to the end. I must say though that since the movie does not in fact have the original scene of 'the bubble room' I was a little disappointed(it's my favorite part of the original), but Burton makes up for it with all the other candy treats to the eyes. I would say this is a MUST SEE for people of all ages!
