Expedition Unknown: Mysteries of Moses (2022)
Origin of the Aleph-Bet (Alphabet)
In S10 E12 Expedition Unknown, Mysteries of Moses (Part 2): Josh Gates travels to Serabit El-Khadim, whereat within an ancient, remote turquoise mine, there is discovered the (oldest known) rock wall carvings of the Hebrew alphabet, Aleph Bet.
As the location of the death of Moses is recorded in Deuteronomy 34 as the plains of Moab, Mount Nebo, Pisgah, around 1406 B. C., thus the Islamic "tomb" of "Nabi Musa" (dating only to the 13th century A. D.) may be casually regarded as a contrived tourist attraction.
The wonderful thing about archaeology is that *physical evidence* reveals either support or lack thereof regarding various "traditional" (/"religious") narratives.
Young Sheldon: Demons, Sunday School, and Prime Numbers (2018)
Sheldon *nails* the Word:
Reviewing John 1:1 with Pastor Jeff, Sheldon observes the word "word" in Greek = "logos," meaning "knowledge," although Strong's defines it as "a broad term meaning 'reasoning expressed by words'."
The word "logos" is *also* the root word of "logic," that which either *is* TRUE (1) or not (0, FALSE.)
The "10 Commandments" in Hebrew are the 10 "misvot" meaning "code of wisdom," that is, "logic."
The binary nature of the Universe = 1 (is) contrasted with 0 (not 1.)
Sheldon inadvertently *unlocks* the meaning of Matthew 5:44, "Love the enemies of you" (aka "Love thine enemies") as simply:
1♥0, that which *is perfectly, eternally TRUE* just as male♥female, husband♥wife, key♥lock, thus, Love unlocks *all* existence.
