What a freshingly wholesome movie!
10 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
All action, betrayal and then the end! I was so pleased with the ending! Reminds me of How to Train Your Dragon. I don't watch movies with animals (especially if they give them a name and voice). When a family/drama / whatever genre movie shows any pet just for 3 seconds too long, you KNOW it's going to be killed off in the movie. I immediately stop watching. So, when she fought the dragon I did jump the scenes, but didn't want to stop watching. And I was pleasantly surprised, SO refreshing! It's the wholesome good triumphing over evil, and not over the big ugly monster - the people are ultimately held responsible. And she didn't even save the 'love interest', no second changes, etc.

Awesome cast, acting is great, for what it is. And I think Johnny Cash will give a nod of approval to the interpretation of Ring of Fire for the credits.

Not a huge action fan but will suggest this for watching with your kids or on a rainy day for feel-goodyness. (yes, I just made up that word). Enjoy!

Utter waste of time
29 October 2023
I feel compelled to write my very first review ever, just to say - don't watch this movie.

For heaven's sake, not only does nothing happen, the girl comes off as pathetic. Not even her acting (which by the way, has no depth and no emotion) can save this boring character. Yeah, yeah, we all know how boring jobs can be, we all know what staff have to do for their bosses, there have been thousands of movies about office politics, how gross the corporate industry can be, etc.

I don't know if it is supposed to be an art film? You know, the one's where you are supposed to find the movie soooo enthralling and you must now use your imagination and try to figure out what it was trying to portray? Oh yeaaaah and the subtleties! And don't forget all the nuances! It's all supposed to be so riveting... it's NOT.

Nope, you can keep all of that, I'd rather watch the thousands of movies (minus one) that are much better portrayals of a boring office assistant's 'hectic' and 'stressful' job.

Nope. Nope. Nope.
