Chicago Party Aunt (2021)
Trying to hard
This show is definitely trying to hard to be the next big Family Guy/South Park/Simpson's with the crude comedy. Nothing about it was funny or humorous. It's a loud and annoying a quite frankly a waste of animators time to sit there and create such garbage. Diane is not appealing nor is she relatable. Daniel is meek. No one from one of the NY boroughs would move to Chicago and try to name a salon 'Borough'. Like come on now. This show is utter garbage. Turned it off 16 mins into he second episode. Don't waste your time.
Lucifer (2016)
Great show... BUT
Lucifer is a great show.
Tom Ellis truly brings the devil and the persona to life. From bringing out all your sinful desires, to making you understand that your enteral torture is that built off your own guilt. Love the spin on life's questions between heaven and earth. Hell and the after life, interpreted this way. A little annoyed that it was set in LA and there was little to no traffic. Like I get the show is fake but be realistic.
The "detective" Chloe Jane Decker or Lauren German is an awful actress. Could have definitely been portrayed/played by someone better... with more range.
Loved Eve's development because she was definitely annoying and clingy when introduced. Also love the emotional roller coaster of Mazikeen's growth.
Don't understand why trixie didn't get more air time as she was a delight when she was on screen.
Ella's realization was definitely annoying because she wasn't exactly kept out of the loop. She was told numerous times throughout the series Lucifer was the devil and gaffed him off. So to finally believe it after him telling her, was her own fault. It played off as if it was their fault for not trying harder to prove something, they weren't exactly trying to scream to the world. And to have her do the realization at the wedding was off putting of her character as a whole who seems more considerate of people's feelings.
Overall the show wrapped up nicely.
The Resort (2021)
When your mom needs background noise.
This is a movie is a movie is definitely a good movie to put on when you need something to play when you are more interested in being on your laptop or phone. This had NOTHING INTERESTED going on. Even the eye candy was a terrible actor. I'm talking to you mister hair for days. Jesus what a waste of scenery, resources and island appeal. But at least people who needed practice for their VFX got their talent on. That was dope. Other than that. Movie was a 0/10. Acting was a 0/10. Plot was a 0/10.
Army of the Dead (2021)
Make it make sense.
Now I already know how the game goes. People will die. BUT all of them dying...? Really? They had amazing characters they could have did something with. But instead let's kill them one by one and leave the least likable character alive. And how did he make it down and back up the stairs in nine minutes?! How did Scott turn quickly but Van survived and made it all the way to charter a private jet and then turned?
There are too many holes. And it really did have potential.
The Big Bang Theory (2007)
Started off strong and that's it.
This show started off great but like every other show, everyone (but Raj) has to be in a relationship... and all the relationships are toxic. There is no real way that Penny can afford to live in her apartment. Especially since she is CONSTANTLY LATE, on all her bills. Leonard is a narcissist and a creep. Sheldon is autistic and should have been properly addressed. Holowitz is a predator. And Raj needs severe therapy. But no. Let's make a show and not address none of these things and add a laugh track to their terrible friendships and behaviors. They turned what could have been a great show into a creep fest with a laugh track. Also Amy Farrah Fowler's character is terrible from start to finish.
I Care a Lot (2020)
I gave it a six but we know that's a lie
There's too many plot holes in this movie...
-The judge is that OBLIVIOUS that he doesn't see her pattern after NUMEROUS patients...? Family complaints. Also since when does the court system not do a non biased person when determining the health of those "ill". Marla uses her OWN connected doctor and that never once is questioned?
-No lawyer that works for a mob/mafia person is going to go to court unprepared. Especially when he's trying to get the MOTHER of said boss out.
-Marla shouldn't have survived the car accident
-Fran would have been dead by the time Marla got to her.
-an experienced driver doesn't know he's not been tailed?
No offense to Eiza but she comes across as a knockoff Michelle Rodriguez with her acting. With the tough persona that we've already grown to love in her.
