A Star Is Born (2018)
Bradley Cooper & Lady Gaga = Amazing
I cannot believe my eyes when I saw Bradley Cooper playing guitar AND singing country/rock songs at the beginning of the movie. Apparently he learned to play guitar, sing and lower his tone to co-star in this movie. Not to mention he also directed and co-produced! That's a lot of things done right for Mr. Cooper!
I would never imagine I will ever see Lady Gaga with no excessive makeup or fashion but her acting in this movie is amazing. Her voice is simply otherworldly, her final song was so powerful tears streamed through my face (more like being emotional than sad, really) when she belted "I'll Never Love Again".
The chemistry between Cooper and Gaga is so good it's hard to believe this is the first time ever Gaga has co-starring role in a blockbuster movie. I can see award nominations coming to this movie, maybe even some prestigious awards to both Cooper and Gaga.
I can say that I am a fan of Gaga now!

Bittersweet Ending
My grandpa suffered from Alzheimer's before his passing and the symptom shown in the movie is similar to his. The letter scene absolutely broke my heart. The girl loved her man so much however she decided to leave because of her guilt. The ending is bittersweet because it was the first time the man said "I love you" but he realised it is possibly the last time the girl would remember (hence probably the reason he did not look too excited when she hugged him). A must watch indeed!

Who's Cutting Onions!
I wept uncontrollably the last 30-40 minutes of this movie. I feel for the police warden who wished to release the father but he could not because it was an order and he needs the job to eventually take care of the girl. If you are not touched by this movie, well I'm confused haha because I was a complete mess when I finished watching. Park Shin Hye is an amazing actress!

Mother's Love
My first IMDB review here. One of my best friends has been constantly asking me to watch Korean movies. Among all the stress in life I decided to start and oh boy this movie absolutely shredded my heart.
It's truly painful that the mom is trying to get the daughter prepared to live on her own, hence the reason she gave her good old spray twice (by my count). At the end of second one, the daughter indirectly revealed she knew her mother was dying ("Why do you keep trying to say goodbye?" oh my gosh I cried like a baby when she said that).
If you doubt parental, specifically love of a mother, please watch this movie. Just prepare a lot of tissue boxes,
