Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies (2022)
Casey had issues but father George was the cause.
I don't agree with the first reviewer.
Granted she did lie initially, about many things. She has matured and come to terms with the lies she told and the reason why she lied. There were honest and real tears. I don't believe the first reviewer watched the entire show, at least not the last episode.
The father George is a pathetic sleaze. His prior law enforcement experience factored in the biased investigation of detectives assigned to the little girls death.
The entire defense team did an amazing job of investigating and explaining the issues. Casey was extremely lucky to have such compassionate people on her side.
I think the judge should have had some restrictions on the media as they totally changed the perception of the facts! I remember watching some of the medias reports and I have a different view now. Well done by the shows interviewer and the producers.
In the end the jury had its say and justice prevailed. The wrong person was prosecuted.
For All Mankind: Happy Valley (2022)
A pirates life for me! Yo ho!
The plot twists keep you thinking/wondering, which I like. Continues to impress with the visuals. Another solid episode. What's next? Will Margo have a another come to Jesus moment?
Who Is Ghislaine Maxwell?: Queen Bee (2022)
Interesting
If you're so inclined to know the background of Ghislaine this appears to be a good watch. Family and friends/acquaintances are interviewed who grew up with or socialized with her.
For All Mankind: All In (2022)
Twists Abound
Slow to start but ended with a bang. I could prattle on about characters I like and dislike but I will not divulge any spoilers. What I will divulge is the ending was most unexpected...
For All Mankind: Game Changer (2022)
Old Blue Eyes is back!
Without adding spoilers, I'll just say that I wasn't happy where this episode was going. That changed in a tremendous way! Love where this season is heading, can't wait for the next episode. With that said I will now replay episode Game Changer!
For All Mankind: Polaris (2022)
Season 3 is here! Outstanding episode.
I enjoyed this opening episode immensely! I like where this season seems to be heading and the aging of the main characters adds to the story nicely. For those who have criticized, go watch something else... I personally can't wait to see the next episode, just wish we could stream them all at once... Oh well, just have to wait. By the way, if you watch the time line segments it explains the time gap between seasons nicely.
Ricky Gervais: SuperNature (2022)
Hilarious 😂
Poor Ricky is going to upset many, but to heck with them. The man is funny and says what he thinks. The modern George Carlin IMHO... Of course we need 150 characters here so I will see if this is now enough...
Julia: Foie Gras (2022)
Ms. Friedan was wrong
Very well done episode. Julia being a kind and caring person is highlighted. Given to include praise upon her coworkers and husband. Ms. Friedan was rightfully portrayed as the abrasive Marxist she was. Friedan grew up pampered in a comfortable household and Midwestern town.
The First Lady (2022)
First Rate Cast
I applaud the casting choices of this mini series. This first episode was laying the ground work for upcoming episodes and was well done in showing the tribulations these women faced. Looking forward to the upcoming episodes.
Julia (2022)
The Legend who started an entire TV genre!
Excellent acting all around with particular praise for Sarah Lancanshire. I thoroughly enjoyed the the first 3 episodes and would have binge watched them all if HBO would have released them! I remember watching her shows on the UHF channel in Chicago as a kid. With that said I think Ms Lancanshire's performance is spot on and heads and above Ms Streep's. Julia Child is a true legend of TV and cooking!
The Gilded Age: Let the Tournament Begin (2022)
Julian Fellowes Writes another Classic
Another triumph for Mr. Fellowes! I thoroughly enjoyed the the first season and this episode in particular. I hope that season two is not too far off. Superbly acted by all involved especially the younger ones although they do have a fine pedigree. Cheers 🥂
1883: Lightning Yellow Hair (2022)
Another fine episode...
Elsa is the backbone of the show and carries it well. Beautifully acted by a true beauty! Can not wait for the next episode. I wish we could stream the entire series but the wait is worth it...
The Many Saints of Newark (2021)
The vintage automobiles!
The best part of this underwhelming movie are the period/vintage cars... And the music of course.
FBI: Most Wanted: Patriots (2021)
Clearly biased.
We get more than enough partisan bias in the nightly news. We don't have to endure this in our entertainment choices. Will not be watching again...
American Crime Story: Exiles (2021)
Hollywood lovefeast for Clinton
It's always fun to watch the Hollywood spin on the Clinton's. The additional fun is this based on the book by Jeffrey Toobin, CNN's legal guy who w*nks during conference calls...
Mare of Easttown (2021)
Superb story with an excellent twist at the end.
Kate is phenomenal in this especially considering she is British and to carry off this unique Pennsylvania dialect. All the actors deserve applause! The writer brings all the right plot twists to a satisfying conclusion. I found this to be much more worthy of accolades than Nomadland for instance.
For All Mankind: The Grey (2021)
WOW
Outstanding and powerful season finale! Well written with superb story line. Fine acting. Season 3 can't come soon enough...
Away (2020)
Rachel Maddow...really!
I was enjoying this until Rachel Maddow was injected into the storyline. A fictional interviewer could have been used. Hollywood and their bias never ceases to amaze....
Chattahoochee (1989)
Superb
Brilliantly acted. A must watch if you happen to live in North FL.
