Insidious: The Red Door (2023)

Not bad

First act wasn't going anywhere, few jump scares and that's it, secund one was bit scary and upto the mark, but story wise it wasn't moving anywhere, and then the third act, which could've been better. James wan should've directed this one. As a first timer, Patrick Wilson did good job, the weakest point of the movie was its story and screenplay.

Acting from entire Cast was convincing.

Unlike first two movies, this one was heavily relied on the horror aspect, first and the second one had a less horror, more story.

When movie completely depends on the story of the previous installments, it means creator has nothing new to offer.

Why seflun bhai, why?

This movie will give you headache in your liver and heartattack in your brain. Forget the logic, i want sefloon bhai to go back in time and slap Newton for discovering gravity, 'cause here he nothing but rock bed with it. And my god bhai's rabid fan base. They would watch such films 4-5 times and but won't donate that money to charity.

To those who want see the movie, its not bhai, you will be the responsible for downfall of your brain. And those who have already seen it, you deserve such faecal matter. You're the reason for the backwardness of the Indian cinema.

BTW all hail to TELEGRAM. I didn't waste my money. No one should.

Shehzada (2023)

I don't think Kartik Aryan has much bigger startdom as compare to his contemporaries, yet this infinitesimal amount of people coming here and polluting the good cinema friendly environment like they did it during his previous venture.

Although I didn't watched it in theatre, i felt robbed, i felt for my that 2gb of data which went to download this trash. I gotta agree that allu arjun has that charm to attract audience to whatever trash he's into. But that aryan guy, what were makers thinking!?

This movie is not good, it's nothing but fuel to fire which is burning in the name of Bollywood.

I request you all not to encourage such disasters.

House of the Dragon: The Heirs of the Dragon (2022) Season 1, Episode 1

A Solid start

When it comes to the HBO they do put an effort to make it big, now with the source writer GEORGE RR MARTIN, himself attached to it, it is Hellbount to get an audience.

My only complaint is they should've introduce new soundtracks instead of relying on the older ones.

Overall just a great start, last 5 minutes were simply icing on the cake.

My god, what an end!!!! (Of the episode) That David Bowie song is a perfect match for the situation!!!

I'm satisfied so far, i don't care whatever the outcome from finale, Since Christina's storyline wasn't much interesting so far.

Unless something extraordinary happens, finger crossed.

Nikamma (2022)

World class movie from world class director

Remaking a below average movie, with the cast of monotonous facial expression and has no chemistry whatsoever, with director like sabbir khan attached, who directed masterpieces like baghi 3, kambhaqt ishq, i mean what producers were thinking, i hope it met the fate of dhaakad and should earn less that 200 rs.

Rocket Boys (2022– )

They've pulled the bollywood

Both lead are perfect, acting is top notch throughout the series, from background score to DOP everything is great.

But forced addition of love stories wasn't necessary, with minimal time for that they could've moved on and added more material but they've pulled the bollywood there, otherwise it was pure 9/10.

And Loved the last 3 episodes that only because there is no bollywood-yappa in them.

Losing the touch and awesome at the same time

Till the last episode it was all about Kendall v the Roys, with nothing development in that episode takes a dramatic turn by Kendall going all out, it was kinda obvious but we're expecting something more.

Instead of going that way writers are aiming at nothing.

With finale is next and 4th season set to start filming, i don't see any big event in last episode.

Beer bottle symbolism was great and hope that show won't sink down to the bottom like that.

The same one room intense drama is back.

Every single actor is at his best.

Seems like Greg is fine be the kingmaker here.

Show is heading towards some big conclusion and I'm having feeling that it won't be mediocre.

Writers kept it going

With the conviction Kendall did try his best but as an audience i cound not see any material in his forthcoming speech before watching the episode.

I got the spoiler way before but man writers kept us glued to the screen. We knew a mole in siblings meeting could jeopardize the Kendall's entire plan writers gave us the entire basket of moles.

No need to mention the acting, they all need emmy right away.

Why ajay devgan said yes to this in a first place is beyond my understanding. I guess patriotic movies sell more rapidly than anything these days.

With bad direction actors can't do much justice even if they try real hard.

Vfx was the major issue. They easily could've cut down the budget from songs and that unnecessary actress and put it in vfx dept.

Makers should be sued to test the patience of the audience, a big let down.

Worst thing happened to India is ekta kapoor and her serials, i had that feeling watching the first episode.

Kinda felt like watching a third grade telugu tamil movie.

Why lord rama and laxman are not wearing janeu?! Why these people go after hindu mythology with their propoganda, leave our religion to us?

Makers should be jailed and set an example for future creator that if you want to touch our mythology make sure you're not coming from propoganda machine!

I simply don't understand why Netflix is obsessed with woke culture, justifying the cheating in marriage, is nothing but the murder of your partner's feelings.

Without 4th short, it's a clean 9.

From acting to direction and screenplay everything is now top notch in first 3 short films, I simply could've gone for 7 or 8 but I hated 4th one from core.

Extraction (2020)

Don't expect much

When it comes to the action movies like this creator try to establish the humble background of the protagonist and want us to have an empathy with the character and it works in very few movies. Chris Hemsworth is honestly just above average actor, performance wise he still has that Thor hangover or this the expression range he provide us, but he was ok, Pankaj tripathi, david harbour have very small screen time, but they've shine through. Randeep Hooda however was best performer through out the movie, his ruthlessness clearly shown on the screen, whenever he's on screen he take over the sequence. Other wise it was plain plot with some really great action sequences. I was about to gave it 6 but for Randeep Hooda 7/10

Issue is sensitive, and execution is excellent. Performances, they all were top-notch. Yeah there are some flaws but let's Focus on the issue which is being represented very neatly. this need to be spread.

It was scary enough that Bollywood is trying to make a horror movie, and we've seen the products... Trailer was promising enough to pull the audience into the theatre. Karan Johar wasn't my concern because he didn't write the script. But it was produced by him and he didn't disappoint us. he tried his own hands in Ghost stories and he tried here that too and failed miserably in both. About movie, i just want to request all the big producers of the industry, we are evolved audience, jump scares won't work on is, thanks to Hollywood movie, not you.

Now a days it becomes a trend to put your hit predecessor movie's name with small changes and with completely different script... First one was above average but it did the business... Performance by jitu was good , ayushyamaan is ayushyamaan in it... Music wasn't that good, overall it isn't a good movie....

It's a nearly 2 and half hour of boredom, First 10 minutes defined the next 2 hours and 20 minutes. Thought Remo D'Souza wasn't a good action Director but this shows he's not a good director at all. Music is trash, performances? When you have legendary 'actor' nr Varun Dhawan on board, you don't have to worry about the performances. And guess what prabhu deva's name in the movie is Ramprasad... Forget about it, of you still want to go?! Then go ahead and torture yourself to death.

Marjaavaan (2019)

I definitely likes the performances of the film, Siddharth is good and convincing but the real performer was Riteish Deshmukh. Otherwise everything fell flat on my face. Not a single entry of the characters is without any poetry or cringy dialogue. Felt like writers are still living in the 90's. Numerous potholes, okayish songs, and 2 and half hour running time are unbearable.

Performance wise it's nowhere near the original, the original one had a charm of gosling and background score was just perfection. I'm disappointed in Netflix to ruin this. Disaster starts from the casting. I am really disappointed.

When we sat down entire theatre was shouting at nonsense jokes, cringy dialogues, it kinda feels like we are going back into the 90's era. The film itself doesn't offer you anything new, trailer does show that it has that medieval touch which was unique and turned out that the creators fail to execute it properly. Songs and music was rubbish. Don't go, it was a peer pressure that brought me to the theatre. Save your money. Or donate it to the poors and make their diwali.

I was having negative thoughts at very early when they ripped the poster directly from the blade runner 2049. And guess what, they didn't disappoint. First trailer got me excited. I was waiting for it eagerly. Such a disappointment. I would like to call it a misuse of money, plot was bit confusing which wasn't necessary. Movie is whooping 170 minutes long and all the flashes and stunt won't be able to tie you up to the chair. And good that typical South Indian humour. Bad direction, it's visible form miles away. Only for the prabhas' efforts and vfx- 4/10
