Jigoku shôjo (2005)
This is real hell!
Especially from the aspect of enjoyment this show is real hell. Every single episode presents an enclosed story where we can ALWAYS see new characters that can be right away fitted into a pigeon-hole of a victim and a villain, and that ALWAYS evolves according to the same pattern. In the end, Enma Ai Jigoku Shoujo intervenes like "deus ex machina" to resolve the story saying ALWAYS the same phrase. Since this pattern never changes, it becomes terribly boring after some while, regrettably, we are to suffer it to the very end, because of the absence of any continual story. Moreover, we don't learn anything much about Enma Ai, nor about her partners from the hell ride. The animation itself is very good, as well as music by Takanashi Yasuharu which is well worth listening to. Weaker characters that can be driven crazy by boredom from the monotony are not recommended to watch it.

Useless movie which was never supposed to exist!
This is the worst piece of crap I have seen recently. There is nothing good about this movie. The plot is plain stupid, dialogs don't make any sense, humorous scenes never heard anything about the real humor. Actors just don't play, the worse they don't even try. The script itself is somewhat which is in the same league with Ed Wood and Uwe Boll. There is only one good thing in this flick, the fights. They are well choreographed as one would expect of the Hong Kong guys, and are the only reason to watch Prince of the Sun. Although I believe the fights are just supposed to fill the empty space so that the screenwriter didn't have to bother thinking about the storyline. However, this weak and absurd plot may prevent you from watching it to the end. Avoid it unless you are fan of the dragon lady Cynthia Rothrock.

it is a good "movie"
I think the movie is absolutely great. I got stuck by the camera and stories that every Czech know from the primary school so good. Camera is amazing, somewhat like "Hidden dragon crouching tiger". Next thing which stunned me was a music and I knew I must have the OST. Actors were pretty good, I don't know what the writer of the before comment was awaiting. It is more an epic play made of Erben's verses than a movie. Story is not narrated only by the actor's performance, but also by the mood of scenes (colours, music, costumes). One must think a little more as it isn't an action movie. Though some action can be found there too. With exception of the last story which is incomprehensible without knowing the original poem, remaining parts are simply perfect.
