This was not a very good horror film...
24 February 2024
Im not even lying, id rather watch the whole of she hulk again than give this a second watch...Apart from a few creepy moments and decent tension building in a couple of parts, this film falls very flat. The main character Rose is not likeable, in fact even our very own A Train is not able to add anything of value to this production. The story was meh, you wont see anything groundbreaking here sorry to disappoint. I was just expecting more... there was no twist, there was no mind blowing moments... it was just ok. The whole film was predictable right up till the end. I was hoping it wasn't going to be. A good ending can sometimes salvage something more, alas this wasn't to be. Sorry mate, it's a no from me.

The Batman (2022)
10/10
An absolute masterpiece, in my humble opinion.
27 July 2023
Just watched The Batman for the 3rd time, i had initially seen it in the cinema with friends and thought it was pretty good, but this is a movie that gets better with each watch. Now, im not saying that Robert is a better Batman or Bruce Wayne than Bale (no one will beat that ever) but this movie is 100% second to The Dark Knight. I love how dark it is, a completely different Batman film than we've ever got before. The music, the shots, the dialogue, the story, the subtleties, just everything about this film is great. The actor who played The Riddler was absolutely amazing, great casting for this. I must say reading some of the negative reviews or low ratings, you must have watched a different movie than me! The ONLY thing i'll say is that Roberts look as Bruce Wayne didn't really hit me as oh, thats Bruce! But i didn't mind it. It wasn't a deal breaker or anything. All in all, a masterpiece.

Why can't people just enjoy films anymore...
19 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This is a rating for the whole trilogy. Ok look, i was hoping that in the end rey would actually turn to the dark side i mean that would be some BADASS ending, apart from that all three films were entertaining to watch, emotional and all in all very enjoyable. Im a big star wars fan and honestly cant understand the stupidity from 'fans' people just love to moan and complain about every single thing these days. Grow up and enjoy things. Goodbye.

Sooo that ending...
18 August 2019
As soon as the film finished i was hoping people would share the same view as me, that the ending was absolutely BS. How many times does a films beginning and middle be near enough perfect only for the ending to ruin all that hard work. What do you think went through the writers heads?? Wouldve given this film an 8/10 if it wasnt for that.

Better than most 'comedies' (incl the hangover)
7 August 2019
This was a great watch full of funny moments throughout and actually had a good storyline. I find that most comedy films have a pretty weak story but this wasn't the case here. The acting was pretty good from everybody involved and it was a comedy film that was actually funny...

Mehhh...
6 August 2019
People have given it 10 stars. People have said its the funniest film they've seen. People are silly. Seriously though, i laughed at 1 bit and that was when the naked chinese guy jumped out the boot. I was expecting a lot more in terms in humour and storyline, sadly i was abit dissapointed.

Not terrible, but a ridiculous ending.

Warning: Spoilers
I just want to say, he went back to his wife who basically left him and did not support him one bit and left poor pari alone and heartbroken whilst she supported and helped him through all that? Why? Annoyed the crap out of me.

Robin has gone from 100 to 0
5 July 2019
I started this show off in love with Robin, i mean she is absolutely gorgeous come on. By season 3:16 i sometimes find her unbelievably annoying... having a whole episode about her, well lets just say i found myself with a straight face huffing and puffing and rolling my eyes in frustration the whole way.

How I Met Your Mother (2005–2014)
Haaave you met Ted???
26 June 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I have just finished watching season 1 and i wont say i love the show YET, but i do really like it and have enjoyed every episode so far. The acting is great and some of the scenes have hand on heart been heartbreaking. The way the show has you rooting for Ted and Robin to be together, only makes me wonder if they actually do end up together in the end... A truly bittersweet end to season 1 as Ted finally gets what he's been after; unfortunately for Marshal it seems Lily's done a runner :( i do hope she comes around because they are a good couple together. Ive seen alot of people praise Barney and i couldn't agree more, he's hilarious. Onto season 2...

Season 5, Episode 2

Underwhelming ending
12 June 2019
Whilst watching this episode i was honestly so excited and gripped on the edge of my seat... but the ending was sooo dissapointing. I thought it was going to end with some crazy black mirror type twist that usually leaves you thinking WTF. But no. Striking Vipers is the best one out of the new 3 IMO.

The film isn't as bad as some of the reviews
8 September 2018
Look, these days horror movies just aren't scary but if you're a horror fan its worth watching once. Sure they may be a couple of clichés but its enjoyable to watch and 'valak' is pretty terrifying to look at, i guess.

A very bad comedy.
9 September 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Well i've learnt that i cant even trust IMDb ratings anymore. Seriously??? Don't get sucked in with the high ratings. This movie was like a badly written comedy with absolutely nothing scary about it at all. A true horror fan like myself will be leaving the cinema disappointed. What i did like is the gore but apart from that i thought i was watching a spoof comedy horror film.

How do a group of kids who get beat up by bullies manage to kill a child eating clown? OK, i give up.

You'll float too. No thanks.

Raees (2017)
7/10
King of Bollywood = Shah Rukh Khan
25 January 2017
Well where do i start, what do i even say? Let me start by firstly addressing the absolute brilliance of SRK, the charm, the look, the acting, the dialogues, who better to rely on than SRK to deliver such an amazing performance; he really does excel in any negative role he plays. Raees is well scripted with some brilliant lines, from the start all the way till the finish you are hooked on as a viewer as there is never a boring or slow moment within the film. The songs are fantastic and flow well within the movie. SRK and Mahira's chemistry is beautiful. I must mention Nawazzudin Siddiqui who was also brilliant as the cop Majmudar. Overall a very well structured movie with a fantastic performance (as always) from King Khan.
