Moon (2009)
Solid movie
Moon (2009) is a solid film. It's well-crafted (especially with the low budget), well-acted, but honestly, it's a tad predictable for my taste. Don't get me wrong, the whole setup is pretty neat, and Sam Rockwell nails it with his performance, but I saw where it was going from early on.
GERTY is a big part of my enjoyment of this movie. That robot is great, love the expressions on its display.
Overall, Moon is a good, enjoyable movie. It might not blow your mind with twists and turns, but it's definitely worth a watch, especially if you're into sci-fi and character-driven stories. Give it a shot.
Agent Red (2000)
Nobdy cared when making this film
Agent Red (2000) is an absolute trainwreck of a film. Seriously, it's hard to believe just how terrible it is. I found myself laughing out loud several times, not because it was funny, but because of how ridiculously bad it was. The acting is absolutely terrible and the story makes no sense at all.
If you're into so-bad-it's-good movies, then this one's a gem. It's like nobody involved cared enough to make it halfway decent. Dolph Lundgren as the supposed hero is about as cool as a wilted lettuce leaf. Seriously, dude, dozens of people just died, and you couldn't muster up a single care? It's mind-boggling.
If you're looking for a film where a woman pretends to push (non-existent) buttons on a phone, then Agent Red is your ticket.
