Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire (2023)
Meh - seen it all before
So many stolen storylines. If anyone says that it is not based on Star wars, then that means that they haven't seen the movie. I mean, come on, a farmer on a planet? Somebody that uses flaming swords? Gathering together a band of rebels? Someone that looks like they die but then through the miracle of science is miraculously brought back to life? I'm just glad I didn't pay any money to see this movie. A special effects are okay, but the movie jumps around a lot and sometimes seems a little disconnected. It will probably come out in the Zack Snyder director's cut version of the movie which will add another hour and all of the content and context.
Enhanced (2019)
Dumbest movie I ever saw
What can you say: terrible acting, terrible plot, just terrible everything. The only reason I watched it is because I was so bored I was literally nothing else to do. It's 90 minutes that I will never get back.
Shut In (2022)
Terrible
Terrible plot, terrible flow, just awful. A meth addict, a child molester and a useless excuse for a mother. The lead character is incapable of making anything resembling a good choice. She can't even kick through an old door.
Don't waste ANY money on this.
Spencer (2021)
What crud
So glad I didn't pay for this piece of garbage. The absolute worst soundtrack - like nails on a chalkboard. And the actress? She doesn't even LOOK like Diana. And such a fake accent. She needs acting lessons. Boring story, and way too filtered on the camera lens. It's like they got a deal on some old film and just decided to use it. Go watch venom instead - at least it's believable.
Eternals (2021)
Just awful
Everything bad and wrong with our world rolled up into one movie. Woke, bad acting, crappy plot, just a lot of CGI and little else. I watched it for free, and turned it off halfway through.
The Sinner (2017)
Great show until season 3
It was a great show until the idiotic season 3.
Super predictable and stupid story line.
Very disappointing.
Kill Chain (2019)
It was ok.
Not amazing, but ok. Nick Cage needs the money. He brings some star power to an otherwise mediocre film. Beyond that, it was ordiyand predictable.
The Lion King (2019)
I couldn't connect
The cgi was great and all, but the actors (except for James Earl Jones) were hollow and wooden. The script was watered down and there was no emotion. Oh well. Disney got my 20 bucks, so there's that.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)
Boring
I was watching hoping for another good monster movie. Right up until they started preaching about humanity ruining the earth. So cruddy.
The Widow (2019)
Feminist BS
From the crappy"rule of thumb" that has been proven false, to the "all men suck" messages, this is complete and utter drivel. Typical Hollywood feminist crud.
2036 Origin Unknown (2018)
Couldn't stay awake
I literally fell asleep for 40 minutes of this movie and didn't miss a thing.
The Humanity Bureau (2017)
It's just ok
Meh. I won't comment on Nicholas Cage's career or the plot. It's obvious that they were on a budget when they made this film. Either way, not terrible and not good.
Hickok (2017)
Unfortunate film
I tend to agree with the reviews here. So much possibility and yet it falls flat. Terrible directing. With a cast like this, the writing is abysmal. Such a disappointment.
The Christmas Chronicles (2018)
Love it!!!
My wife and I loved every minute of this movie. :)
We are going to add it to our viewing list for the holidays.
As others have mentioned, the script was very well written and Goldie at the end was awesome!
Kurt is amazing as Santa. Between him and Tim Allen we should have Christmas movies covered for a while.
Nice job Netflix!!
The Grinch (2018)
Meh
They had big shoes to fill (Dr. Seuss cartoon, and Jim Carrey) and they didn't fill them.
It's hard to screw up this story, but they did it.
Cruddy music and terrible story.
Disappointed that Cumberbatch took this on.
He's waaay better than this.
