Prometheus (I) (2012)

To the negative reviewers...
11 June 2012
To the negative reviewers: You guys must have some shitty lives... makes me feel really sorry. This movie was perfect. I went in with no expectations, didn't watch the trailers prior or geek-ed it up at forms over-hyping myself to the point of setting myself up to be highly disappointed. Some people just don't get it.

It truly was an amazing roller-coaster ride and definitely one of my favorites in the franchise (which I consider: Alien, Aliens and Alien 3 DC)

My tip; if a good movie comes up; don't read/watch anything on it prior. Just patiently wait and enter the theater with a clear mind.

Spider-Man 3 (2007)

Spider-Man 3 definitely delivers

I went to see this movie with no expectations and was blown away. After reading the negative comments I was disappointed the movie didn't deliver for everybody. I agree with the fact that they were trying to put way too many elements in the movie, this required you to keep constant attention and be able to grow quickly with the storyline. By knowing the previous installments this could be easily maintained since you are more aware of the style of directing. I also liked the fact that Raimi included the slow romantic moments to let you analyse what just happened, while still enjoying the scene.

Future movies will only be faster and will include more stuff since evolution in film is inevitable. That makes me wonder how many things they will include within 2 hours of film by the time I am 50 years old :P.

I definitely believe the director did an excellent job on SM3. It just wasn't well interpeted by his audience. It also had to life up to his predecessors which created way too much hype.

9/10 excellent!!

Amazing experience! Truly a masterpiece!
5 September 2007
One of the reasons I went to Tokyo was to visit the Ghibli Museum. The museum ticket included a pass to view one of Miyazaki's short movies. Luckily they played "Hoshi wo katta hi" that day which was an amazing experience. Like every Miyazaki movie, he is able to pull off flawless character development in 16 minutes alongside his signature "goosebump moments". The animation & music mixed very well together, also cool was the dedicated movie theater for Ghibli movies the whole theater had a Ghibli atmosphere without spoiling too much. If you are planning a trip to Japan don't forget to stop by the Ghibli Museum, but remember to get your museum tickets before you go to Japan, they are extremely hard to come by!! It is a must see! Do note that the movie is in Japanese without subtitles.

This is one of the greatest movies of 2006

Warning: Spoilers
This movie is hilarious. I would say much more painful & disgusting than the previous movie. The entire cast from the previous movie & series is present.

These kind of movies are great to watch in the MovieTheater cause the whole audience is crying with laughter, especially at the terrorist part that was damn disgusting. I wish they made more of these kind of movies.

Strong stomach required! They got some insane stunts this time around. Warning: includes a lot of snakes! I would love to write about it but I just can't spoil the fun. Go see it!!!
