Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018)
Bot bad, not the best
Show is visually great, scenography and costumography are well thought out and beautiful, but plot is lacking, at least in the first season, things seem to get better in season 2.
In the begging characters don't have much character in them and as I said, plot is not really compelling but after a while things star to get moving. It definitely has potential. They go a little heavy on satanic symbols and theme but you can pass over that.
Overall, if you like fantasy and have nothing else to do give it a shot, it doesn't have a lot of episodes so if you don't love it you won't lose a lot of time.
Deadly Class (2018)
Good start, after that stupid and annoying
Show has an interesting plot at first and great reviews after the first four episode. I like the idea of assassins school, I'm not against some high-school drama, violence and darkness.
Unfortunately somewhere around episode five things start to get stupid. Violence is there for it's own purpose, character diveloplent is non-existent, plot as well. Blood and atrocities are made to shock or intrigue audience but that falls flat without compelling story we could be interested in. Visually the show is interestingly and quality made. It is shame that same isn't true for other aspects of the show.
After watching the entire season I felt as I just spend 10 hours I'm not getting back and definitely wan't be watching second season.
Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019)
Best episode of the season
I think that this was a great episode and definitely the best one of the season. Is the entire season 8 a little rushed and maybe not as well written as others, yes, should have the first 2 episodes had been merged into one and should have the battle had been better yes, but episodes 4 and 5 were really good and in line with the spirit of GOT.
Daenerys was always on the edge of becoming the Mead queen and after everything she's been threw this is not unexpected. People say that throughout the series she was merciful and intelligent but she was not, and that is exactly why we love her. She was maybe just but not merciful and that was satisfied to watch, the way she punished "the bad guys" and those who tried to harm her gave us an extreme sense of satisfaction, the way she dealt her own justice in a cruel world that was not just to her. I don't see why people are surprised that in the end she expended that "justice" a little but too far.
Jon was always like this. He meant well but was never the greatest strategist. People love him and he is a good man, but in my opinion that scene after the unsullied attacked, when he looked panicky around and didn't know what to do, because once again he doesn't have any control of the situation, perfectly summarizes his entire role, and honestly I would be pretty disappointed if he ends up on the throne.
About Jamie, I admit it is not how I thought it would end, I always thought he would kill Cersei and then die, but this ending does make sense. In a way, for him, everything started and ended with Cersei and his love for her however wrong the one may be. He had great character arc, and he redeemed himself thru his actions, he is not a "bad guy" we saw in the first season, but he never stopped loving Cersei and because she hadn't changed they cannot live "happily ever after", so the only way for him to stay true to himself and also to stay true in his love for Cersei, is for him to die with her.
Cersei maybe deserves crueler death, but this is kinda meaningful, it shows that it doesn't matter who you are, in the chaos no one is speared of "accident" death. She was afraid of her enemies but in the end she died just as another war casualty, which she least wanted, saying herself she didn't want to die Like that.
Overall the episode is visually beautifully done, music is great, pace of the episode is great, whether you like what they did with the characters or not, I think the episode is quite good and interesting to watch.
