Rare jewel in an indie crown
23 September 2022
A jewel of an indie production, that should be contemplated in any classic modern Greek drama teaching or exploration.

The feeling while watching this gem..., well... imagine being caught by a stone giant's hands and squeezed little by little, not feeling misery, but a never-ending lust to be squashed even more, until you reach the ending of cardinal culmination, leaving you with wet cheeks of sadness and a lough out loud pleasured grin on the face. The only movie that left me with such an excitement.

Does it deserve a 10? Being modest and humble and at the same time entangled as human souls can be, it deserves the highest rank, taking into account that a more perfect cast crew could not have been chosen.

Kudos to eternity!

Civilization End
1 March 2022
True image of the rotten, decayed, anti-human values of the modern western society, which even the ancient Greeks could foresee it coming and the Greek had to put it on the big screen.

How is this based on the Euripid's Iphigeneia en Aulid, remains an unsolved mistery!?

Should never been released
22 February 2020
As the narrator advised on the beginning, some movies should never have been made and released and this movie is one of them. I didn't believe and watched it through, which was a mistake. If producer's intention was to make an oppositely worse movie of the first Anchorman, they have succeeded completely and deserve a full 9 stars for making one of the most boring and uninteresting movies ever. Skip it and watch Anchorman 2 instead.

For the enlightened ones
2 May 2019
Only the ignorant and narrow-minded could not comprehend the narration that Kevin Smith has portrayed so exquisitely simple. Describing the current pitiable situation of "democratic" fascists regime that is being instilled into the hollow minds of TV guided majority that wrongfully rated it low, because they expected Hollywood-like horrors and thrilled action for americana dumbs. Well, my dear ones, this is not what the Kevin's intention was! If you expect a blank blockbuster, please go away. If you know how to read between the lines, you are welcome.

The best (anti) western movie
7 October 2018
"Unforgiven" may be one of the best (anti) western movies made in the last thirty years. As always, when Eastwood's films are in question, narrated story does not tell much, but the movie is in fact a powerful analysis of morale and hypocrisy of the old West, about "killing or being killed", about the difference between myth and history.

Brilliant melodrama!
19 August 2018
"Dangerous Liaisons" is a brilliant melodrama whose assets are difficult to count. Let's just say this film wins you over layered characters, the luxurious and convincing reconstruction of the era in which the action takes place, rich emotions, the great camera, and meticulous directing. Still, the striking trumps are phenomenal actors. Difficult to say who is better, John Malkovich, Glenn Close, Michelle Pfeiffer or then very young Uma Thurman. Nowadays famous Keanu Reeves (Matrix), had a small but nice act. In addition to great criticism, Frears' "Dangerous Connections" can boast of great success at cinemas and a great number of awards.

Mediocre unappealing piece
5 July 2018
Mediocre unappealing piece for the typical dreary no-intelligence teenager of the present, not worthy of other Marvel's marvels. Even the CGI appeals 2nd grade.

Questioning the real importance of life
1 April 2018
"Mr. Holland's Opus" was created in the spirit of Frank Capra, in which the story of the life of the main characters is a sort of alchemical process that leads to the knowledge that is most important in life. R. Dreyfuss most excellent performance. Worth mentioning - unlike movies in which the younger actor's mask turns into an older one, Dreyfuss here was rejuvenated at the very beginning of the film.

Provocative journey to reconstructing of the digital world
1 April 2018
Werner Herzog leads spectators to a unique journey through a series of provocative talks that reveal how the on-line world has transformed the way the real world functions - from trade to education, from space travel to health and all the way to the central issue of human behavior in society. Herzog has reconstructed the virtual world, from its inception, to its fullest extent, exploring the digital background with the same curiosity and creativity that he has accessed to various regions of the Earth, such as Amazon, the Sahara, the South Pole and abandoned areas of Australia.

One of the most honest and most valuable patriotic films that an American has ever recorded
1 April 2018
"Where to invade next?" is an expansive, funny and subversive comedy in which the Oscar-winning MM confronts all the burning problems of today's America and finds solutions in strangest places. The creator of films such as "Fahrenheit 11/9" and "Capitalism: A Love Story" returned with a big movie that is different from everything he has done so far.

A call to arms to win and regain the American dream right here in America. One of the most honest and most valuable patriotic films that an American has ever recorded...

An optimistic accomplishment based on a challenging, but invaluable idea: we can do better.

Rare modern masterpiece

Intensely pinpointing your attention while increasing the heartbeat until the last second! Ultimately rare masterpiece of action and thriller, upon which many should learn how it should be done.
