Wanted to like this film as the messages it is trying to convey are still (sadly) as important today as they ever have been, however it is woefully poorly and clumsily executed.

The characters are not even one dimensional and the whole film has the feel of an acting workshop on 'how not to do it'.

A missed opportunity.

Missed the mark by a long shot, even allowing for translation. The actors are completely unconvincing and 'Dad' is camper than Christmas.

Travels but for me, never arrives

I try to watch a movie with an open mind and not read too many reviews first. I wanted to like this film but for me the characters were under developed, the storyline one sided and just left me feeling unfulfilled.

Watch it, by all means, but don't set your expectations too high.

My Best Friend (2018)

Misses the mark for me

Even allowing for the considerable loss in translation for subtitles this movie though nicely filmed feels pedestrian, disjointed and the characters seem poorly defined with little or no backstory. Nice try but for me, misses the mark by a mile when compared with jewels such as "Juste un question d'amour'
