I wouldn't go so far as to call this a great movie, and I thought the first movie was great in this series, but it is still good and worth watching. Lawrence's acting is great especially for a young adult fiction work like this. The writing and story are good, and they spared no expenses with the effects, sets, etc. The entire main cast does a good job with a few weak links in supporting roles.

This was a good Civil War movie. It doesn't say so here but I'm pretty sure this was a made for TV movie? Or maybe when I saw it it actually was not new. I saw it on TV back in the 90's I guess 96.
There weren't any big stars in it but the acting was quite good. The story focuses on the infamous Andersonville prisoner of war camp in the south during the Civil War, where starvation, cruelty and disease were rampant among the captured union soldiers.
The movie holds back a lot, I think because it was made for TV like I said, and they obviously didn't put tons of money into it, but the story is good and the acting is quite good which elevates this to a higher rating. It's not easy to find but I did track it down online, give it a watch if you are a fan of this genre.

Unfunny and Unbelievable

The writing in this show really is bottom notch. Nothing in this show is believable, not the stories or the characters. The jokes are terrible meaning you can see them funny and even if I didn't they still wouldn't be funny. The characters are not likable and nobody real could identify with these people. They're just annoying whining women who have it better than most women, especially real "working moms." Is this show made by men? Because whoever makes this garbage show sure doesn't understand real working moms, or how to even write a decent woman based character or story. Like I said the jokes are even terrible. What is the point of this show and who are these people leaving positive reviews when I have met exactly zero people who watch and like this show?

Cringe Humour Minus the Humour

This show is cringe humour without the humour part. They are trying so hard to be cringe funny obviously because of the success of shows like The Office and Parks and Rec in the US but they forgot the main part of it. The cringe characters in those shows are actually funny with good writing.
Some of the characters around Mr. D are fine but they don't have much to work with because of the poor writing. And Mr. D himself is just plain terrible. When cringe comedy fails you end up with just a selfish unfunny jerk nobody wants to care about or even laugh at. That's what Mr. D is, just a jerk who is on TV for some reason.
An awful attempt at comedy, I can't believe it got several TV seasons and hope to not see this guy on TV any more.

The jokes are "dad jokes" a lot of the time and a lot of the material was kinda for the older set but that is typical of a lot of CBC shows like this, Air Farce etc. This was really good for what it was and my mom loved it. I heard one of the stars of this show passed away, RIP and know you gave my mom and many others a lot of entertainment. I didn't mind this show either, some solid jokes and impressions week to week!

Maybe if I saw the first movie or TV show first I would have liked this movie more but I really don't think so. It didn't seem like there was much going on that would have been helped by other details or back story. The writing and acting are particularly awful in this. The lead guy stinks, the lead girl is not a great actor but at least is very easy to look at (and not an awful actor just not great with stage combat which I'm guessing is much the fault of the producers and director), and the fat demon guy who is there obviously for comic relief is so over the top desperate to try to get a laugh he made me cringe every time he was on the screen. I hated this movie over all. But the other cast and lead female were OK and the effects actually were decent in my opinion for a lower budget movie. Take a pass though unless you have a couple hours you really want to waste on something annoying.

Would-Be Good Reboot Ruined By One Thing: Idiotic Writing

The producers of this show did most of the things right. It is a well known franchise with good bones to build a new series on. They spared no expense on effects, with some really great CGI and high quality picture and sound. The cast is very good with a couple of really fantastic leads. Even the child actors are good. The problem is, when it came to writing, it is as if they just didn't care. No one is believable, the story is stupid, the plot holes are ridiculous and nobody would behave the way the characters in this show do. Most of all it is so contrived and relies on coincidence and CONVENIENCE all the time. Everything happens to work out. It's also incredibly predictable. It is too bad because this show had all the other makings of a great science fiction series here.

Whoever wrote that review must be kidding. This is one of the dumbest, least well written shows I have seen in my life. Nobody acts like any real human being would. The jokes are lame. Everything and everyone is predictable and stupid. I hate this show.

This is a sad excuse for a remake of the horror classic Attack of the Giant Leeches. That movie is in the public domain so this person did not get permission or anything they just took the plot and name and made their own pathetic version to literally "Leech" off of that movie. The poster looks OK but the sound and picture quality of the movie is pathetic or worse.
SHAME on you Brett Kelly and co for ripping off this cult horror classic and turning it into this useless and amateurish mess. You all suck and should quit, Never make another film.

People always tend to jump to saying, This is the worst show ever!, whenever they see a show or movie they hate. But obviously not every bad show or movie is actually the worst ever, there can only be only one officially Worst Ever show and in this case it literally is true.
This literally is the worst television show ever made, of all time, hands down, no arguments, it is a home run and a slam dunk. Nothing before during or after Pop Cultured even approaches this level of completely inept television production.
The host was incomparably bad. Unfunny, uncomfortable and unlikable.
The writing and jokes were terrible. Literally as bad or worse than if the network had walked into a grade three English class and said, Hey kids write us some jokes to say on TV tonight!
The direction, the cast, absolutely everything about this show was done as poorly as you could expect. Not one single thing on this show even came within a billion parceks of being what one could consider Good or even Average.
Need more evidence? This show has a rating of 1.0 out of ten. Just to remind you on IMDb you are not allowed to give a rating of 0.0 out of ten so 1.0 is literally the worst rating you can give. That worst possible rating is the AVERAGE RATING OF EVERY VIEWER who has rated this show. I just checked with my IMDb Pro account and there are only two shows all time, in any language and in any country, that have a rating of 1.0 out of ten. The other show has a hand full of ratings but Pop Cultured has hundreds of ratings. Talk to any Canadian person who ever saw this show what they think of Pop Cultured and you will not find one single person who will say the show was anything better than total garbage.
I once talked to a cast member of this show who was a comedian and surprisingly a good one, I mentioned I was surprised how good they were because I had only seen them on this show before and it did not make them look very good (pretty rude of me I know it just slipped out, They really were very funny!)... this person APOLOGIZED to me and was obviously very embarrassed about being on this show. How bad was this show that a main cast member on it would act like that and hate to be reminded that it even existed?
The show was canceled and never rerun and will never be rerun again unless someone makes a documentary about how unbelievably awful it was.
So the next time someone says to you, Hey don't watch the new Transformers movie, etc, etc, do not believe them. Tell them, It is not true, I know it is not true because Pop Cultured existed and it is the absolute literally worst television show ever made.

Not the best superhero movie of all time but this was a lot of fun. Ryan Reynolds is hilarious and a lot of the action is great. You can also tell that the people who made this film were actual fans of the character and his history, staying relatively faithful (for a movie) to the source material and comics. I wish they had done another one.

Citizen Kane is the greatest film of all time in my opinion. In my experience everyone who I have talked to that says it is overrated or undeserving of that title has not even seen the movie and is going off of their assumptions (based on the fact it is old and black and white) or what other people have told them (usually just that it is "boring" with bad acting and melodrama). I think they are mistaken and if you actually take the time to watch the movie with an open mind, I think the vast majority of people will really enjoy it. Not necessarily agree that it is the "best ever" but enjoy it I mean. It is slow etc but it is very good with some incredible acting and a fantastic story behind it, both on screen and off. It is even better when you consider the time in which it was made. This film was very innovative and must have been quite jaw-dropping at the time. It influenced many movies to come, down to and including today.

This movie is a real gem. It is about as near perfection as any movie can be. The story and writing are superb, with fantastic direction, and the acting is amazing. Really the entire cast is impeccable. I can't recommend this one highly enough. The only warning I have is that it obviously is not good for family/children viewing because of the violence and subject matter involved. But what a great story and movie this is! Riveting.

Our Cartoon President is not funny enough to be a good comedy show, it is not animated well enough to be a good animation show and it is not smart enough to be a good informative or news show, so it has nothing really to offer. It isn't going to start a good political conversation if you watch it with friends. It just isn't very good at doing anything good at all. The voices aren't even good. I am very disappointed by this because I like Steven Colbert so much (other than this).
