Resident Evil (2022)
Half interesting, half garbage.
If this show would've been set in 2022, I would've liked it. The stuff that happened in that timeline was far more interesting than the stuff that happened in 2036. The 2036 timeline wasn't interesting at all. 2036 had more plot conveniences than an MCU project. I cared nothing for Jade in 2036 who only seemed to make things worst for the world around her. Like she kept getting kidnapped and saved. It was so boring. The show suffered from predicability too. Like they didn't even try to be subtle with certain things.
The music choices were bad. Period. The show was being serious but it had "funny" moments that didn't work. The character of Richard was part of that. He was trying to be funny in a serious series and served as a reference machine for the millennials and GenZ people watching.
The 2022 stuff had me interested. I cared a lot more for Jade and Billie in this timeline than their 2036 counterparts. The idea of cloned Wesker was fun as well.
But at the end of the day, another poor adaptation from Netflix.
Dramarama (2020)
Cute movie
Wasn't expecting to enjoy this movie as much as I did. To be honest, I bought it because it had Nico Greetham. The movie's characters were well written and there is as definitely some nice character development. It reminds me a bit of the Breakfast Club. It touches on some topics very well as well. A great funny and of course, dramatic film.
