Alex de la Iglesia great comeback!

If you enjoy the fictions of this crazy spanish director, like Perdita Durango or El Día de la Bestia, your gonna love this. You don't have to expect logic things to happen, this is an intense mixture of Catholic mythology (yes, exorcisms, antichrist, demonic possessions, you name it) and Secret Societies conspiracies, all surrounded by some kind of cosmic horror à la Lovecraft, and a constant change of scenarios, taking you from elegants restaurants on Paris, the chaos of the devastated lands of Alepo in Syria, the magnificent halls of Vatican City, to the rustic spanish little village which contains the evil.

What a great surprise!!!

I'm gladly finishing the last episode of this 1st season, and completely love it. When I read another users reviews I think they forget that this is a TV SHOW! It's not a documentary neither a facsimile of Ibéric medieval times. But as a tv show it's very impressive, has a well Rhythm, a beautiful photography, scenography and overall costumes, the action sequences are superb. I can even say that for me this is better than Vikings at least in this first season
