Las chicas del cable (2017)
Last season took it downhill
Overall this is a good series. I liked the first three seasons but I have to admit that the last one was just too much. Yes, it's nice and influential to have such strong female characters these days, but it got way too unrealistic. The girls think they can do anything and get away with all of it. Get someone out of jail? Sure, but something's in the way. No problem, let's just plan a riot to get her out of jail. Done. C'mon! It was a lot for me, I would've liked for it to stay real and less dramatic. I liked the love stories though, and the ending was pretty good IMO. A Civil War spin-off would be cool.
The Strange Thing About the Johnsons (2011)
The definition of disturbing
It would be weird and alarming to say I liked it. I didn't. But not because someone does not like a movie means it's not good. This short film is a masterpiece. It disturbed me and made me feel uncomfortable from start to finish. And I'm sure that was Aster's aim. It's brilliant, it's genius and it assured me once again that us humans are just vile monsters who don't deserve life as free as it is. I'm certain this happens around a lot and that's the scariest fact.
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019)
Shocking.
It has been a while since I left the movies this shocked. The movie is very well done and I liked the fact that it was not a typical serial killer movie showing the actual murders. The confession at the end is what makes watching the movie worth it. I felt chills all over my body. It's absolutely sickening to know that humans can be monsters. This movie is terrifying.
Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019)
THIS IS GoT
Don't you all knew this already? That not-getting-what-you-expect is what Game of Thrones is all about. Every single character that is not Daenerys was feeling the exact same way that we all. They didn't think her mind would shift just like that! It was an amazing episode full of horrible images. Now I'm just thinking how D&D will solve this HUGE mess in one episode. Looking forward to it.
This Is Us: Super Bowl Sunday (2018)
My head hurts from crying
Never ever had I ever cried so much in an episode. This show is the absolute best. I love how it gets to me all (ALL) the time.
And Jack well, isn't he dreamy? It had gotten to the point where I'd see him and tear up. His death destroyed all us viewers, who adored him they way he was even though they show how imperfect he was. I am in tears still.
